Mary Ann Samantha Isham died on 21 July 1922 in Georgia at age 84.¹ She was buried at Isham Family Cemetery, Everett Springs, Floyd County, Georgia.¹

     John Thomas Owens was born on 7 November 1851 in South Carolina.¹ He married Margaret Elain Bagwell, daughter of Berry R. Bagwell and Elmina Ware, after 1865.¹ John Thomas Owens died on 15 October 1922 in Chattooga County, Georgia, at age 70 This information is from a conversation with Nettie Warren Owens [granddaughter-in-law] and Louise Warren, and another with Lizzie Owens Hawkins [granddaughter], around 2000 or so:

John Thomas Owens was a one-legged man. Cousins tell the following story, but Lizzie says she doesn't believe it - that it was just something he told the kids.

Once he was off in the woods by himself, cutting wood. He fell and got hung on a limb upside down. His leg was already part way off. He took his knife out of his pocket and cut the rest of his leg off (he couldn't get down otherwise).

Lizzie says he actually fell while climbing. They had to cut his leg twice. A neighbor helped hold him down while they cut it.

He bought an artificial leg, but he said it was too heavy. He said he was not used to wearing it. He lived in Jackson Hollow and would often walk up the mountain [Little Sand Mountain] on his crutches. He rarely wore the artificial leg, but when he died they buried him with it anyway, because they didn't know what else to do with it.

Death certificates says he died of "Rheumatism and followed by heart trouble."¹ He was buried at Little Sand Mountain Baptist Church Cemetery, Kartah, Chattooga County, Georgia.¹

Georgia Alice Bagwell married Albert Monroe Giles on 27 June 1895 at Yell County, Arkansas. Georgia Alice Bagwell married Robert M Brock on 14 October 1906 at Pope County, Arkansas. Georgia Alice Bagwell died on 25 March 1959 in Shawnee, Pottawatomie County, Oklahoma, at age 81 of Cerebral Vascular Thrombosis due to Cardiac Insufficiency.¹ She was buried at Cook Cemetery, McClain County, Oklahoma.¹

     Leonard Bagwell was born circa 1883 in Yell County, Arkansas. He was the son of Arzro Berry Bagwell and Eliza Ruemma Phillips. Leonard Bagwell died circa 1888 in Yell County, Arkansas.

As of 19 November 1903,her married name was Sartors.¹ Dora Emma Bagwell married Henry Alonzo Sartors on 19 November 1903 at Yell County, Arkansas.¹ Dora Emma Bagwell died on 1 April 1976 in Asher, Pottawatomie County, Oklahoma, at age 90.¹ She was buried at Wanette Cemetery, Wanette, Pottawatomie County, Oklahoma.¹

     Clarence Elbert Bagwell was born on 31 December 1888 in Dardanelle, Yell County, Arkansas.¹ He was the son of Arzro Berry Bagwell and Eliza Ruemma Phillips. Clarence Elbert Bagwell married Lura Bowen on 9 September 1907 at Pope County, Arkansas. Clarence Elbert Bagwell died on 30 March 1982 in Oklahoma County, Oklahoma, at age 93.¹ He was buried at Jones IOOF Cemetery, Jones, Oklahoma County, Oklahoma.¹

As of 16 March 1913,her married name was Garvin.^1,2 Sabie Lou Bagwell married Jacob Harland Garvin on 16 March 1913 at Stratford, Oklahoma.^1,2 Sabie Lou Bagwell died on 26 March 1987 in Norman, Cleveland County, Oklahoma, at age 92.¹ She was buried at Washington Cemetery, Washington, McClain County, Oklahoma.¹

     Roy Raymond Bagwell was born on 22 August 1897 in Yell County, Arkansas.¹ He was the son of Arzro Berry Bagwell and Luvina V. "Liew" Williams. Roy Raymond Bagwell married Cleo C. Cooke after 1915.² Roy Raymond Bagwell died on 15 September 1956 in Garvin County, Oklahoma, at age 59.¹ He was buried at Cook Cemetery, McClain County, Oklahoma.¹

     Sibyl A. Bagwell was born on 7 February 1900 in Van Buren County, Arkansas. She was the daughter of Arzro Berry Bagwell and Luvina V. "Liew" Williams. Sibyl A. Bagwell died on 26 December 1960 in Hiawatha, Brown County, Kansas, at age 60.

Ardnial Dewey Bagwell Bagwell married Recy Ester Hicks on 20 April 1921. Ardnial Dewey Bagwell Bagwell married Mabel Olive Huntley on 14 March 1946.² Ardnial Dewey Bagwell Bagwell died on 2 September 1964 at age 60.¹ He was buried at Cook Cemetery, McClain County, Oklahoma.¹

     Wurl A. Bagwell was born on 31 July 1906 in Pope County, Arkansas.¹ He was the son of Arzro Berry Bagwell and Luvina V. "Liew" Williams. Wurl A. Bagwell died on 30 April 1922 in Oklahoma at age 15.¹ He was buried at Cook Cemetery, McClain County, Oklahoma.¹

Arby Clifford Bagwell married Callie Irene James on 15 December 1928 at NcClain County, Oklahoma. Arby Clifford Bagwell died on 1 June 1985 in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma County, Oklahoma, at age 76.¹ He was buried at Cook Cemetery, McClain County, Oklahoma.¹

     Callie Irene James was born on 17 February 1909.¹ As of 15 December 1928,her married name was Bagwell. She married Arby Clifford Bagwell, son of Arzro Berry Bagwell and Luvina V. "Liew" Williams, on 15 December 1928 at NcClain County, Oklahoma. Callie Irene James died on 22 August 1989 at age 80.¹ She was buried at Cook Cemetery, McClain County, Oklahoma.¹

     Harold Clifford Bagwell was born on 29 April 1930 in McCalain County, Oklahoma.¹ He was the son of Arby Clifford Bagwell and Callie Irene James.¹ Harold Clifford Bagwell married Wanda J. Vreeland after 1950. Harold Clifford Bagwell died on 25 April 2013 in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma County, Oklahoma, at age 82 Harold Clifford Bagwell, 82, of Oklahoma City, died Thursday, April 25, 2013. He was born April 29, 1930 in Chisholm, Oklahoma to Arby Clifford and Callie Irene (James) Bagwell. Harold was a longtime member of the Beverly Hills Baptist Church. He enjoyed the outdoors and visiting with family, friends and neighbors. Harold loved his grandkids, great grandkids and great great grandkids.

     Mabel Olive Huntley was born on 3 January 1909 in Clare, Clare County, Michigan.¹ Mabel was born to Orman L Huntley and Elmira Adell Orvis. She lived her early life in Clare, Michigan. She was married first to Asa (Acey) Parker, and then to Ardnial Dewey Bagwell.¹ As of 14 March 1946,her married name was Bagwell.¹ She married Ardnial Dewey Bagwell Bagwell, son of Arzro Berry Bagwell and Luvina V. "Liew" Williams, on 14 March 1946.¹ Mabel Olive Huntley died on 26 December 1957 in Asher, Pottawatomie County, Oklahoma, at age 48.¹ She was buried at Cook Cemetery, McClain County, Oklahoma.²

     Cleo C. Cooke was born in 1898.¹ She married Roy Raymond Bagwell, son of Arzro Berry Bagwell and Luvina V. "Liew" Williams, after 1915.¹ Cleo C. Cooke died in 1994.¹ She was buried at Cook Cemetery, McClain County, Oklahoma.¹

     Edna Patricia 'Pat' Bagwell is the daughter of Roy Raymond Bagwell and Cleo C. Cooke.¹

     Loyd Donald Bagwell was also known as Loy Donald Bagwell. He was born on 26 June 1914 in Chism, Oklahoma.¹ He was the son of Clarence Elbert Bagwell and Lura Bowen.¹ Loyd Donald Bagwell married Inez Mae Hudson on 28 September 1939.² Loyd Donald Bagwell died on 18 December 1973 in Chickasha, Grady County, Oklahoma, at age 59.¹ He was buried at Dibble Cemetery, Dibble, McClain County, Oklahoma.

     Inez Mae Hudson was born on 22 May 1922 in Dibble, McClain County, Oklahoma.¹ She married Loyd Donald Bagwell, son of Clarence Elbert Bagwell and Lura Bowen, on 28 September 1939.¹ Inez Mae Hudson died on 23 October 2003 at age 81.¹ She was buried at Dibble Cemetery, Dibble, McClain County, Oklahoma.

     Lura Bowen was born on 14 October 1885 in Pope County, Arkansas.¹ She married Clarence Elbert Bagwell, son of Arzro Berry Bagwell and Eliza Ruemma Phillips, on 9 September 1907 at Pope County, Arkansas. Lura Bowen died on 8 August 1978 in Edmond, Oklahoma County, Oklahoma, at age 92

LUTHER - Mrs. Lura Boen Bagwell, 92, died Tuesday at Edmond Memorial Hospital. Graveside services will be at 2 p.m. Thursday at IOOF Cemetery, Jones, directed by Baggerley Funeral Home, Edmond. A native of Pope County, Ark., Mrs. Bagwell moved to Luther from Alex in 1954. She was a Baptist. Survivors include her husband, C.E., two daughters. Mrs. Ertis Wilson, Luther, and Mrs. R.B. Campbell, Oklahoma City; a daughter-in-law, Mrs. Inez Bagwell, Chickasha; a son Chelsa, Checotah; 16 grandchildren; 30 great grandchildren, and one great-great-grandchild.
