     Jimmy Dwain Bagwell was born on 7 September 1948 in Sedgwick, Lawrence County, Arkansas.¹ He was the son of William Alfred Bagwell and Roma Evelyn McQuay.¹ Jimmy Dwain Bagwell lived in 1965 in Scio, Linn County, Oregon. He married Doris Jane Bray on 20 September 1965 at Coeur d'Alene, Kootenai County, Idaho. Jimmy Dwain Bagwell died on 1 January 2006 in Arkansas at age 57

Born Sept. 7, 1948, at Sedgwick, he was a U.S. Army veteran, a retired construction worker and was of the Baptist belief.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Alfred William and Roma McQuay Bagwell; a brother, James Bagwell; and a sister, Louise Tredal.
Survivors include two sons, William Dwain Bagwell, Powhatan, and Jimmy Dwain Bagwell, Black Rock; a stepson, David Allen Midgett, Walnut Ridge; a stepdaughter, Candy Le An Story, Ravenden; a brother, Alfred William Bagwell, Searcy; two sisters, Vera Cunningham and Vida Faye Horton, both of Palm Springs, Calif; and four grandchildren, Michael Allen Bagwell Story, Justin Richard Story, Rebecca LeAnn Bagwell and Austin Dwain Bagwell.
Graveside service is today at 2 p.m. at Markham Cemetery under the direction of Bryan Funeral Home.
Pallbearers will be Jimmy Bagwell, William Bagwell, David Midgett, Jubul Steel, Jeremy Brady and Revell Voyles.¹

Mrs. Wanda Lou Bagwell Caron, 71, of Dozier, AL, formerly of the Jonesboro, Arkansas area, passed away Saturday October 24, 2015 at her residence.

Memorial services will be handled privately by the family at a later date.

She is survived by her husband, Rick Caron of Dozier; a son and daughter-in-law, Roger Dale and Rebecca Parker of Dozier; her daughter and son-in-law, Angelia Gail and Mark Roberts of Kennesaw, GA; grandchildren, Michael, Andrew, Sarah, Blake, Matthew, Rachel, and Jacob; nine great grandchildren; three sisters, Judy Merrell of Jonesboro, Ark, Renee Phillips of Hoxie, Ark, Tina Brunson of Jonesboro, Ark; three brothers, Jay Bagwell of Powhatton, Ark, Wayne Bagwell of Powhatton, Ark, and Wesley Bagwell of Walnut Ridge, Ark.

She is preceded in death by her son, Allen Parker; a sister, Joy; and two brothers, William and Thomas.

     Renae Bagwell was born after 1952. She was the daughter of Harvie Jay Bagwell and Lorine Lavere McQuay. As of after 1968,her married name was Mans. Renae Bagwell married (?) Mans after 1968. Renae Bagwell died before 2021.

     Lola Vestina Bagwell was also known as Tina Bagwell. She was born on 9 May 1960 in Arkansas. She was the daughter of Harvie Jay Bagwell and Lorine Lavere McQuay. As of after 1968,her married name was Brunson. Lola Vestina Bagwell married Phillip Brunson after 1968. Her married name was Davidson. Lola Vestina Bagwell married Keith Davidson. Lola Vestina Bagwell lived in 2021 in Jonesboro, Arkansas. She died on 2 May 2025 in Highland, Sharp County, Arkansas, at age 64.

     Judy Bagwell is the daughter of Harvie Jay Bagwell and Lorine Lavere McQuay. Judy Bagwell married Vannen Merrell after 1968.

     Carmeta Stogsdill was born on 3 April 1939 in Imboden, Lawrence County, Arkansas. As of 19 January 1980,her married name was Bagwell. She married Thomas Ray Bagwell, son of Harvie Jay Bagwell and Lorine Lavere McQuay, on 19 January 1980. Carmeta Stogsdill died on 21 September 2026 in St. Bernards Five Rivers Hospital, Pocahontas, Randolph County, Arkansas, at age 87

Carmeta Bagwell, 87, of Ravenden, entered her heavenly home on Monday, September 21, 2026, at St. Bernards Five Rivers Hospital.

Carmeta was born on April 3, 1939, in Imboden, Arkansas, to the late Forest Albert Stogsdill and Bertha Jane Garrett Stogsdill. She earned her nursing degree and dedicated her career to caring for others as an LPN in Labor and Delivery. Her compassionate heart and caring nature touched the lives of many throughout her years of service.

She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Thomas Bagwell; her parents, Forest and Bertha Stogsdill; and her son, Robert Pogue.

Carmeta is survived by her daughter, Juanita (Michael) Biddle; grandchildren, Zane, Carmela, Holly, Cody and Natasha, along with many other grandchildren and great-grandchildren; nieces and nephews; and many other family members and friends who will cherish her memory.

Graveside services will be held at 2:30 p.m. on Saturday, October 3, 2026, at Lebanon Cemetery with Mike Jones officiating.

Cremation has been chosen as her final disposition. Services are under the direction of McNabb Funeral Home.

Grover Nathaniel Bagwell Jr. married Jessica Grainger after 1994. Grover Nathaniel Bagwell Jr. married Jessica J Grainger on 28 November 1996 at Reno, Washoe County, Nevada. Grover Nathaniel Bagwell Jr. died on 27 September 2025 in Lonoke, Arkansas, at age 65


Grover N. Bagwell Jr., age 65, of Lonoke, Arkansas passed away on September 27, 2025. He was born in Huntington Park, California on January 7, 1960 to Grover Bagwell Sr. and Betty June Williams Bagwell.

Grover was a good man. He never said no to anyone. He would give you the shirt off of his back if it were his last. He gave so much that he would do without just to make sure others had what they said they needed. He loved to be mowing the pasture with the tractor. If he wasn’t helping plant or move flowers, he was on that tractor mowing. His most prized blessing is none other than his baby sugar. She has been by his side through all of his trials and tribulations for the past almost decade. Grover loves to pick on any and everyone. If he were here right now, I can guarantee he would be picking on everyone.

Grover is preceded in death by his father Grover Bagwell Sr., mother Betty June Williams Bagwell, and sister Yvonne Bagwell.

He is survived by his brother Daniel Lee Bagwell (Regina); children Eugene Grainger, Nick, Courtney, Scottie, and Chris Bagwell; special family members Karlene Bagwell Browning (Billy), Shannon Williams (BJ Ballard), and Robert Criswell (Melisa).

A family hosted memorial service will be held on Saturday, October 11, 2025 at 11:00am at Smyrna Church located at 1675 Smyrna Rd, Lonoke, Arkansas 72086.

     Daniel Lee Bagwell is the son of Grover Nathaniel Bagwell and Betty June Williams. Daniel Lee Bagwell married Regina (?) after 1980.

     Anna Bagwell is the daughter of Grover Nathaniel Bagwell and Betty June Williams.

     Bobby Frank Bagwell was born on 6 August 1939 in Birta, Yell County, Arkansas. He was the son of Redmond Andrew Bagwell and Lillie Ellen McDaniel. From from 16 May 1958 to 10 January 1963, he served in the US Navy. Bobby Frank Bagwell married Rose Marie Taylor on 18 December 1962. Bobby Frank Bagwell and Rose Marie Taylor were divorced on 16 December 1980 at Tarrant County, Texas. Bobby Frank Bagwell died on 20 June 1994 at age 54.

HODGES SC - Joanne Bagwell Wright, 78, resident of 4121 Moorefield Street, wife of James Henry “Jimmy” Wright, Sr., passed away October 1, 2017, at Self Regional Medical Center. Born September 5, 1939, in Greenwood she was a daughter of the late Breal and Ruby Hughes Bagwell. She was a graduate of Ware Shoals High School and retired from Bayberry Assisted Living. She and Jimmy were the former owner/operators of The Sunken Garden. Mrs. Wright was member of Calvary Baptist Church in Ware Shoals.
