Survivors: A son, Barron Mattison, of Rock Hill; a sister, Macie Terrell, of Greenville; three grandchildren; and a great-grandchild.

Blanche Elizabeth Fowler Bagwell, 77, of Chesnee, SC, formerly of Inman, SC, died Sunday, January 5, 2003 at her home.

Native of Whitestone, SC, widow of Walter Edward “Pete” Bagwell; daughter of the late Samuel and Viola Proctor Fowler.

Formerly employed with Inman Mills, was a member of Victory Baptist Church of Inman, and was a former charter member of the First Free Will Baptist Church of Inman.

Surviving are four daughters, Carol Lynn Branch of Inman, Patricia Ann Lark of Woodruff, Cassie Doreen Gowan and Donna Lou Fowler, both of Chesnee; a son, Mark Bagwell of Inman; three half-sisters, Betty Lankford of Spartanburg, Nana Lou Mullinax of Rock Hill and Julia Chapman of Morganton, N.C; 10 grandchildren; and 14 great-grandchildren.

Funeral services were held at 3:00 p.m., Tuesday, January 7, 2003 at Victory Baptist Church, conducted by the Rev. Burrell Wyatt and the Rev. Earl Hendrix. Burial was in Fort Prince Memorial Gardens.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Mobile Meals Service, P.O. Box 461, Spartanburg, S.C., 29304; or to Hospice Special Needs Fund, 120 Heywood Ave., Suite 300, Spartanburg, S.C., 29302.

Survivors include her husband, Dale Parker; daughter, Dana Williamson (Chris) of Cowpens, SC; step-son, John Parker (Amanda) of Spartanburg, SC; grandchildren, Courtney, Dawson, Carson, Daxton, Colton Williamson; step-grandchildren, Christopher and Cameron Parker; brother, Mark Bagwell (Ginger) of Inman; sisters, Lynn Branch (Jimmy) of Inman; Donna Fowler of Inman; Doreen Gowan (Mike) of Chesnee; and several nieces and nephews.

She was also predeceased by a brother, Roger Bagwell.

The family received friends from 3:00 - 3:45 PM Tuesday, September 20, 2016 at Carolina Baptist Church, 256 Floyd Road, Spartanburg, SC 29303.

Memorial service was 4:00 PM at Carolina Baptist Church, conducted by the Rev. Marc Williamson.
