Bonnie Faye Pirkle, 79, of Cullman passed away Monday, Oct. 3rd, 2022. A Celebration of Life Service will be planned at a later date.

Mrs. Pirkle was born March 2, 1943, to Troy & Velma Campbell Bagwell. She attended Desperation Church. Bonnie loved taking care of people and loved her family. She had many friends and knew so many people.

She was preceded in death by her parents; daughter: Malinda Smith; son-in-law: Stevie Smith; granddaughter: Nicole Smith; son-in-law: Benny Bailey; sisters: Nettie, Jackie, Marylee, Rebecca; brothers: Wallace and Tommy; husband: Elbert Pirkle.

Survivors include her daughter: Glenda Bailey; sister: June Young; grandchildren: Clint (Cyndal) Smith, Whitt (Rachel) Bailey, Ginger Bailey; great-grandchildren: Caden Smith, Braden Smith, Journey Smith, Rhett Bailey, Benny Bailey; special friend: Nancy Steele; friend and father of her children: Early Scott; family and friends.


She was buried at Fellowship Cemetery, Spring Hill, Cullman County, Alabama.

     June Bagwell is the daughter of Troy Hershel Bagwell and Velma Lee Campbell.

     Rebecca Bagwell was born on 6 September 1948. She was the daughter of Troy Hershel Bagwell and Velma Lee Campbell. As of after 1957,her married name was Haynes. Rebecca Bagwell married (?) Haynes after 1957. Rebecca Bagwell died on 1 January 2017 at age 68
Funeral services for Rebecca Haynes, 68, of Cullman, will be at 2 p.m., Wednesday, January 4, 2017 at Cullman Funeral Home Chapel, Pastor Scott Sessions officiating with interment in Cullman City Cemetery.

Mrs. Haynes passed away January 1, 2017 at her residence. She was born September 6, 1948 to Troy Hershel and Velma Lee Campbell Bagwell.

She is preceded in death by her parents; husband, E.J. Haynes; brothers, Wallace Bagwell and Tommy Bagwell; sisters, Jackie Watson and Nettie Cupp.

Tucker, June Young; grandchildren, Morgan (Jeff) Tenney, Robert Swindoll, Sammi Swindoll, Hunter Haynes, Evan Haynes, Margrett Cripe, Brittany Jaske; great-grandchildren, Brooklynn Swindoll, Brylee Tenney, Ellah Joe Tenney; and a host of family and friends.

Visitation will be Tuesday evening from 5:30-8:30 at the funeral home.

Funeral Services for Jessica Steele Bagwell, 31, of Hanceville, will be Tuesday, August 21, at 11 am, at Cullman Heritage Funeral Home Chapel, Ronnie Turner and Jack Ellenbury officiating. Interment will be in Good Hope Cemetery. Ms. Bagwell died Saturday August 18, 2012 in lakeland Community Hospital in Hayleyville. She was born July 24, 1981, Cullman, AL, to Kenny and Janet Bagwell.      Jewel Hazel Carden was born on 2 July 1912.¹ As of October 1929,her married name was Bagwell.¹ She married Curtis Bill Bagwell, son of James B. Mrs. Evelyn Bagwell passed away August 11, 2013 at the age of 77. She was born September 16, 1935 to Sam and Vera Hayes Bates.

Funeral Services will be held August 13, 2013 at Moss Service Funeral Home Chapel at 10:00 AM. Interment will follow at Emeus Cemetery.

A funeral Service for Mrs. Rusk will be held Wednesday March 11, 2026, and 1 p.m. in the Moss Service Funeral Home Chapel. Mrs. Rusk family will receive friend from 11 a.m. – 1 p.m. Internment will follow at Emeus Cemetery. Serving as pallbearers; Tim Sivley, Brian Tekulve, Bill Bagwell, Jim Alldredge, David Bagwell and Garrett Bagwell.

The Rusk family would like to thank the woodland Village Rehabilitation and Healthcare Center for the excellent care they provided Mrs. Rusk for the last three years.

James is survived by his beloved wife of 60 years, Martha Gammon Bagwell; his daughter, Susan Willingham (Terry); his son, David Bagwell (Cynthia); his grandchildren, Josh (Ashton) Bagwell, Gerrett (Meredith) Bagwell,Colton Bagwell and Selina (Cal) Lee; his great-grandchildren, Jedidiah Bagwell, Kainan Bagwell and Banks Lee, his sisters, Imogene Rusk and Marry Ann Lee; and his special caregiver, Shirley Smith.
James was preceded in death by his parents, William (Bill) and Jewell Carden Bagwell; his stepfather, Charlie Johnson; his brother, Hollis Bagwell; his son-in-law, Darren Byram; and his grandson, Dustin Byram.
A celebration of life visitation for James will be held Friday, Dec. 1, 2023 from 9 a.m.-12 p.m. at Moss Service Funeral Home, 1901 2nd AVE North West, Cullman, AL 35055, followed by a celebration of life funeral service at 12 p.m.
James will be laid to rest in Prospect Church of Christ Cemetery.

He served in the US Air Force from 12 November 1975 to 30 Nov 1979. Roy Kenneth Bagwell and Patricia Cheryle Milner were divorced on 6 July 1976. Roy Kenneth Bagwell and an unknown person were divorced on 7 November 1978 at Okaloosa County, Florida.
