He married Brenda Sue Bagwell, daughter of Frank Burton Bagwell and Thelma Gladys Gaines, on 4 February 1985 at Miami County, Ohio. Robert Edward Baker died on 2 March 2019 in Greenville, Darke County, Ohio, at age 65. He was buried at Greenville Township Memorial Gardens, Greenville, Darke County, Ohio;

Robert "Bob" Baker, 65, of Arcanum, Ohio, formerly of Ansonia, Ohio passed away on Saturday, March 2, 2019 in Greenville, Ohio.

He was born on February 2, 1954 to the late Edward and Carol (Steed) Baker of Ansonia.

In addition to his parents, Bob was preceded in death by his wife, Brenda (Bagwell) Baker, whom he married on February 4, 1985; and his brother Gary Baker.

Bob was a 1972 graduate from Ansonia High School. He had a passion for fixing tractors and other farm equipment. Bob spent over 15 years working for Ron Garrett Chevrolet in Greenville, Ohio as the Parts Manager. When he was not working in the shop, you could find him tinkering with anything he could get his hands on. Bob did not know a stranger. He made friends with anyone and everyone. His caring personality allowed him to be a role model for many teenagers. Bob loved firetrucks and dressing up as Santa Claus. His favorite thing to do after a long day at work was to sit on the couch and enjoy a bowl of vanilla ice cream.

Bob is survived by his children, Angie (Thom) Spurlock of Greenville, and Christopher (Stacie) Baker of Arcanum; his grandchildren, Michael W. (Whitney Yeagle) Johnson, Jr of Greenville, Zachary Robert Baker of Greenville, and Swayze J. Baker of Arcanum; his one great granddaughter on the way; his siblings, Carolyn Fields of Union City, Ohio, Pauline (Bill) Albritton of Versailles, Ohio; his sister-in-law, Wanda Baker of Celina, Ohio; his cherished special friend, Bethany Weaver of Arcanum; and numerous nieces and nephews.

A celebration of Bob's life will take place on Thursday, March 7, 2019 at 11:00 AM at Tribute Funeral Homes, Greenville Campus with Mr. Chris Cox officiating. Burial will follow at Greenville Township Memorial Gardens in Greenville.

Guest may visit with Bob's family on Thursday from 10:00 AM till the time of service.

     Mary Carol West was born on 1 April 1932 in St. Augustine, Florida. As of 17 August 1957,her married name was Bagwell. She married Benjamin Prince Bagwell, son of Eugene Cleveland Bagwell and Mary Elizabeth Prince, on 17 August 1957 at St. Johns County, Florida. Mary Carol West and Benjamin Prince Bagwell were divorced on 2 August 1961 at Hopewell, Virginia. Mary Carol West died on 23 May 2021 at age 89


Mary Carol West Bagwell went home to be with the Lord on May 23, 2021. Mary Carol was born at the old Flagler Hospital in St. Augustine on April 1, 1932 to Mary Clark and Judson B. West. Mary Carol attended St. Johns County Public Schools, graduating from Ketterlinus High School in 1950.
Mary Carol attended Stetson University, and later received a Master's Degree from Florida State University. After teaching at Orange Street School and Ketterlinus High School, she moved to Miami where she served as a guidance counselor at Miami Springs High School, and then at Hialeah High School. She retired in 1987, and returned to St. Augustine where she became an active member at Ancient City Baptist Church. There, she served as Director of Sunday School, Sunday School Teacher, Historian, and Tour Leader.
Mary Carol is survived by niece, Deborah West (Mike); nephew, George West (Linda), nephew, Paul West (Lisa), all of St. Augustine; and niece, Rozanne Chevallier (Roger) of Miller Place, New York; sister-in-law, Annelle West, and many great-nieces, great-nephews, cousins, and friends.
Memorial Services will be held at Ancient City Baptist Church, 27 Sevilla Street, St Augustine, Florida at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, May 26, 2021. A reception will be held at the church immediately following the service. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that you consider making a donation to Ancient City Baptist Church or Community Hospice.

     Tonia Renee Bane married James Roy Bagwell, son of James Troy Bagwell and Betty Louise Bolt, on 15 September 1990 at South Carolina.

     Haywood Charles Smith Jr. was born on 2 August 1924 in Portsmouth City, Virginia. He married Olga Loralee Bagwell, daughter of James Roy Bagwell and Iva Daphine Traynham, on 5 August 1945 at Portsmouth, Virginia.¹ Haywood Charles Smith Jr. died on 12 September 1998 at age 74. He was buried at Parklawn Memorial Park, Hampton, Hampton City, Virginia.

     Rosemary Sanders married Barry Neal Bagwell, son of Wiley Hixon Bagwell and Annabelle Reid, in 2004.

     Stacey William Bagwell was born on 5 June 1969. He was the son of Raymond Walton Bagwell and Fannie Mae Williams. Stacey William Bagwell married Christie (?) after 1987. Stacey William Bagwell died on 22 May 2021 in Canton, Cherokee County, Georgia, at age 51. He was buried at Oakdale Baptist Church Cemetery, Canton, Cherokee County, Georgia.

     Christie (?) married Stacey William Bagwell, son of Raymond Walton Bagwell and Fannie Mae Williams, after 1987.

     Brady Bagwell is the son of Stacey William Bagwell and Christie (?)

     Calvin Bagwell was born circa 1856 in Arkansas. He married Maria Gray on 12 August 1880. Calvin Bagwell married Lettie Hill on 2 May 1885 at Arkansas.

     Lettie Hill was also known as Lettie Grapes. Lettie Hill was also known as Letty Coleman. She was born in December 1862 in Mississippi.¹ She lived in 1870 in Planters, Phillips County, Arkansas. She lived in 1880 in Lake, Phillips County, Arkansas. As of 2 May 1885,her married name was Bagwell. She married Calvin Bagwell on 2 May 1885 at Arkansas. As of 21 August 1892,her married name was Gill. Lettie Hill married James Gill on 21 August 1892 at Phillips County, Arkansas. Lettie Hill lived in 1900 in Phillips County, Arkansas. She died in 1904 in Phillips, Craighead County, Arkansas.¹ She was buried at Gill Family Cemetery, Phillips County, Arkansas.¹

     James Gill was born on 18 December 1852 in Madison, Madison County, Alabama.¹ He married Lettie Hill on 21 August 1892 at Phillips County, Arkansas. James Gill died on 10 February 1949 in Marvell, Phillips County, Arkansas, at age 96.¹ He was buried at Gill Family Cemetery, Phillips County, Arkansas.¹

     Walter Bagwell was born on 1 May 1890 in Helena, Arkansas, Other sources have his date of birth as May 1 1889. He was the son of Calvin Bagwell and Lettie Hill. Walter Bagwell married Mary Allen on 10 January 1909 at Phillips County, Arkansas. He was trucker for a packing house in 1920 at Chicago, Cook County, Illinois. Walter Bagwell and Mary Allen lived in 1920 in Chicago, Cook County, Illinois. He was a sleeping car porter for railroad in 1930. Walter Bagwell lived in 1930 in Chicago, Cook County, Illinois. He died on 26 October 1947 in Chicago, Cook County, Illinois, at age 57. He was buried on 1 November 1947 at Worth, Cook County, Illinois.

     Mary Allen was born circa 1888. As of 10 January 1909,her married name was Bagwell. She married Walter Bagwell, son of Calvin Bagwell and Lettie Hill, on 10 January 1909 at Phillips County, Arkansas. Mary Allen and Walter Bagwell lived in 1920 in Chicago, Cook County, Illinois.

     Andrew Bagwell was born on 5 December 1890 in Marvell, Phillips County, Arkansas, His World War II registration card lists him as born on December 5, 1894 in Helena, Arkansas.¹ He was the son of Calvin Bagwell and Lettie Hill. As of 1940, Andrew Bagwell was also known as Andrew Gill. He died on 16 June 1991 in Chicago, Cook County, Illinois, at age 100.¹ He was buried at Homewood Memorial Gardens, Homewood, Cook County, Illinois.¹

     Maria Gray married Calvin Bagwell on 12 August 1880.
