     Frank Goff is the son of Calvin Benjamin Goff and Mina Overby.

     Woodrow Russell Goff was born on 7 November 1912. He was the son of Calvin Benjamin Goff and Mina Overby. Woodrow Russell Goff married Anne T. Langan in July 1961 at Bogota, Bergen County, New Jersey. Woodrow Russell Goff died on 30 January 1976 at age 63. He was buried at Sacred Hearts of Jesus and Mary Cemetery, Sun Praire, Dane County, Wisconsin.

     Anne T. Langan was born on 29 June 1908 in Tanbent, County Kerry, Ireland. As of July 1961,her married name was Goff. She married Woodrow Russell Goff, son of Calvin Benjamin Goff and Mina Overby, in July 1961 at Bogota, Bergen County, New Jersey.

     Doty Ralph Goff was born on 5 August 1917 in Charleston, Kanawha County, West Virginia. He was the son of Calvin Benjamin Goff and Mina Overby. Doty Ralph Goff married Marie Julia Kirkeeng after 1929. Doty Ralph Goff died on 5 July 2014 at age 96. He was buried at Turtleville Cemetery, Shopiere, Rock County, Wisconsin.

     Marie Julia Kirkeeng was born on 12 May 1910. As of after 1929,her married name was Goff. She married Doty Ralph Goff, son of Calvin Benjamin Goff and Mina Overby, after 1929. Marie Julia Kirkeeng died on 23 September 1978 at age 68. She was buried at Turtleville Cemetery, Shopiere, Rock County, Wisconsin.

     Stanton Mayo Goff was born on 1 October 1922 in Jackson County, Ohio. He was the son of Calvin Benjamin Goff and Mina Overby. Stanton Mayo Goff married Ruth Lucille Klope on 11 May 1943 at Portsmouth, New Hampshire. Stanton Mayo Goff died on 24 June 1981 in Madison, Wisconsin, at age 58. He was buried at Medina Cemetery, Marshall, Dane County, Wisconsin.

     Ruth Lucille Klope married Stanton Mayo Goff, son of Calvin Benjamin Goff and Mina Overby, on 11 May 1943 at Portsmouth, New Hampshire.

     Blanche Evelyn Goff was born in September 1888 in West Virginia. She was the daughter of William Harvey Goff and Samantha Elizabeth Rust. As of 11 July 1911,her married name was Park. Blanche Evelyn Goff married John B. Park on 11 July 1911 at Wheeling, West Virginia.

     Bertha Ethel Goff was born in 1897 in Putnam County, West Virginia. She was the daughter of William Harvey Goff and Samantha Elizabeth Rust. As of 1915,her married name was Mace. Bertha Ethel Goff married Clyde Vernon Mace in 1915 at Kanawha County, West Virginia. Bertha Ethel Goff died on 18 December 1991 in Florida. She was buried at Oaklawn Memorial Gardens, Titusville, Brevard County, Florida.

     Clyde Vernon Mace married Bertha Ethel Goff, daughter of William Harvey Goff and Samantha Elizabeth Rust, in 1915 at Kanawha County, West Virginia.

     John McGhee Goff was born in 1780 in Randolph County, Virginia. He married Lavinia Wilkerson on 25 February 1811. John McGhee Goff married Catherine Parsons on 11 August 1815. John McGhee Goff married an unknown person on 16 August 1848. He died in 1870 in Kanawha City, Kanawha County, West Virginia.

     Catherine Parsons was also known as Christina Parsons. She was born in 1795. As of 11 August 1815,her married name was Goff. She married John McGhee Goff on 11 August 1815. Catherine Parsons died in August 1848.

     Drusilla Goff was born in 1805 in Randolph County, West Virginia. She was the daughter of John McGhee Goff and Catherine Parsons. As of 1825,her married name was Barsant. Drusilla Goff married William Barsant in 1825 at Lewis County, West Virginia. Drusilla Goff died in 1845.

     Major Frederic James Goff was born on 13 March 1890 in Stoughton, Dane County, Wisconsin. He was the son of Frank B. Goff and Adalette M. Youngs. Major Frederic James Goff married Anna Nelson after 1915. Major Frederic James Goff died on 2 January 1956 in Madison, Dane County, Wisconsin, at age 65. He was buried at Forest Hill Cemetery, Madison, Dane County, Wisconsin.

     Anna Nelson was born on 18 February 1897 in Columbia County, Wisconsin. As of after 1915,her married name was Goff. She married Major Frederic James Goff, son of Frank B. Goff and Adalette M.      Liuet Frederic James Goff was born on 21 May 1921 in Wisconsin. He was the son of Major Frederic James Goff and Anna Nelson. US Marine Corps, 1st LT, Purple Heart, WW II. Liuet Frederic James Goff married Elaine Luloff in 1945. Liuet Frederic James Goff died on 29 April 1998 in Madison, Dane County, Wisconsin, at age 76. He was buried at Forest Hill Cemetery, Madison, Dane County, Wisconsin; US Marine Corps, 1st LT, Purple Heart, WW II.

     Elaine Luloff was born on 28 October 1921. As of 1945,her married name was Goff. She married Liuet Frederic James Goff, son of Major Frederic James Goff and Anna Nelson, in 1945. Elaine Luloff died on 10 May 2001 at age 79. She was buried at Roselawn Memorial Park, Monoma, Dane County, Wisconsin.

     Lieut Wallace Edward Goff was born on 24 June 1925. He was the son of Major Frederic James Goff and Anna Nelson. Lieut Wallace Edward Goff married Virginia Wandalene Halder after 1942. Lieut Wallace Edward Goff died on 22 August 1950 at age 25

After High School, Wallace Goff enlisted in the Navy, and served 3 1/2 years, as a gunners' mate during World War II.

After the war, Wallace attended college at the UW-Madison, and also worked in the city's finance office.

In January of 1949, Wallace was sent to Korea with the 25th Infantry. He was the first Madisonian to be killed during the conflict.

City Man, W. E. Goff,Killed in Korean War

The death of the first Madison resident to be killed in action in the Korean war was reported Thursday night by the defense department.

Lieut. Wallace Edward Goff, 25, 192 Ryan st., son of Maj and Mrs. Frederic J. Goff, 118 S. First st, was killed Aug. 22 according to a telegram received here by hia parents.

Attended East High Lieut. Goff was bom in Madison, attended East high school, and was graduated from Jerseyville high school, Jerseyville, Ill., in June, 1942. He attended the University of Wisconsin and was employed in the Madison city finance office. He served in the navy for three and a half years during World War II as a gunner's mate, second class and received a commission in the army in January, 1949.

Sent to Korea after four months at Ft. Bennlng, Ga., he was transferred to the Far Eastern command and sent to Korea soon after fighting began.

His wife, the former Virginia Halder, and bis 2-year-old son, Williarn Wallace, joined him in JapaIn June and still live there.Lieut. Goff is survived beside his parents, wife, and son; by two brothers, Frederic J., Jr., member of the Madison marine reserve unit recently alerted, and Richard Nelson Goff, Madison, recently discharged from the army.

Graveside services for -Lieut. Wallace E. Goff, 25, son of Maj. and Mrs. Frederic J. Goff, 2617 Commercial ave., who was killed in action in Korea, will be held at 2 p. m. Saturday at Forest Hill cemetery, the Rev. A. H. Lambright officiating.

Military rites will be conducted by the Madison Veterans of Foreign Wars (VFW) unit. Lieut Goff was the first Madison resident to be killed in action in the Korean war and was the first of Madison's war dead .to be returned. A member of the 35th regiment, 25th infantry, division Lieut. Goff was killed Aug. 22, 1950, at Honan.

He was posthumously awarded the Silver Star for gallantry in action.

A native of Madison, Lieut. Goff attended East high school-and was graduated from Jerseyville, Ill., high school in June, 1942. He attended the University of Wisconsin and was employed in the city finance office.

During World War II he served 3 1/2 years as a gunner's mate, second class, in the Navy. He received an army commission in January 1949.

His wife is the former Virginia Haider of Madison, In addition to his wife and parents, Lieut. Goff is survived by a son, William W. 3, and two brothers, Frederic J. Jr., and Richard N. Goff.

The body is expected to arrive at the Gunderson funeral home by noon Friday.

Virginia Wandalene Halder died on 3 September 2007 in Columbus, Muscogee County, Georgia, at age 83. She was buried at Forest Hill Cemetery, Madison, Dane County, Wisconsin.
