     Stephanie Denise Parris was born on 10 December 1973 in Commerce, Georgia. She was the daughter of Jimmy D. Parris and Barbara Gail Bagwell. Stephanie Denise Parris died on 6 May 2026 at age 52


Stephanie Denise Davis, 52, passed away on Wednesday, May 6, 2026.

Born in Commerce, GA, she was preceded in death by her devoted Dad, Jimmy D. Parris; her beloved Papa and Nanny, Tillman (Buddy) and Bertie Bagwell and her uncles Johnny Bagwell and Phillip Bagwell.

“Sissy,” as she was known by all those who loved her, was the center of any room she walked into. Her smile could turn anyone’s day around. She never met a stranger and loved “her boys” as she called her friends at the barbershop. Sissy never slowed down, always living her life at full speed. Sissy was the ultimate cheerleader for her nieces and nephews, they always knew when she was supporting them in their sporting events. She loved the community police officers and firefighters, nothing excited her more than seeing them out and about.

A celebration of her life will be held on Saturday May 9, 2026 at 2:00 PM at the chapel of Lord & Stephens Funeral Home, East. The family will receive family and friends prior to the service from 1:00 pm to 2:00 pm at the funeral home. The interment will be in Crawford Cemetery.

Sissy is survived by her mother, Barbara Parris; sisters, Jennifer Wilson (Adam) of Lexington, Kim Boardman (Alex) of Conyers. Multiple nieces and nephews, Caitlin Wilson, Cassidy Wilson, Logan Boardman, Caleb Wilson, Liam Boardman, Conner Wilson, Lukas Boardman, Caroline Wilson, Carson Wilson and Lilee Boardman; aunts, Bessie Casper and Janice Webb and multiple cousins who were extremely special to her.

The world will forever be a better place for having had Sissy in it.
