McLendon and Freddie, of Clinton; a son and his wife, James A. Bagwell Jr. (Al) and Mary, of Clinton; grandchildren, Stephanie Petitt, of Anaheim, Calif., Andrea Rossi, of Hemet, Calif., F. Steven McLendon, of Myrtle Beach, M. Shane McLendon, of Orangeburg, Jeffrey Bagwell and Zachary Bagwell, both of Clinton; and great-grandchildren, Christian Rossi and Coby Rossi, both of Hemet, Calif.
He was predeceased by his first wife, Ruth Curry Bagwell; and a brother, L.H. Bagwell Jr.
Funeral services will be conducted Wednesday, Oct. 13, 2004, at 2 p.m. in Davidson Street Baptist Church, with burial in Rosemont Cemetery. The family will receive friends today from 7 to 9 p.m. at the Gray Funeral Home.
