He was buried at Ebenezer United Methodist Church Cemetery, Greer, Greenville County, South Carolina.

     Dora Lee Bagwell was born circa 1894 in South Carolina. She was the daughter of Milton Young Bagwell and Harriet Effie Wood. As of after 1910,her married name was Leopard. Dora Lee Bagwell married Edgar E Leopard after 1910. Dora Lee Bagwell died on 22 September 1967. She was buried at Clear Spring Baptist Church Cemetery, Simpsonville, Greenville County, South Carolina.

     Vinie Bagwell was born in July 1882 in South Carolina. She was the daughter of Milton Young Bagwell and Harriet Effie Wood. As of after 1895,her married name was King. Vinie Bagwell married Thomas B. King after 1895. Vinie Bagwell died on 1 January 1962 in South Carolina at age 79.      Laurence Stephenson Woodley MD was born on 8 January 1913 in Morton, Mississippi. He served in the US Army and as a POW during World War II. He married Edith Bernice Bagwell, daughter of George Edward Bagwell and Julia Mae Willingham, before 1954. Laurence Stephenson Woodley MD died on 18 May 2001 in Tuscaloosa, Tuscaloosa County, Alabama, at age 88. He was buried at Tuscaloosa Memorial Park, Tuscaloosa, Tuscaloosa County, Alabama.

     Marian Emma Chandler was born in 1897. As of 2 July 1917,her married name was Bagwell. She married Homer Albert Bagwell, son of Albert Galliton Bagwell and Nancy A. E. Sparks, on 2 July 1917 at Riverside, California.

     Stanley Calvin Bagwell was born on 23 November 1919 in Los Angeles, Los Angeles County, California.¹ He was the son of Homer Albert Bagwell and Marian Emma Chandler. Stanley Calvin Bagwell married Jeanette A. Hurley after 1940.² Stanley Calvin Bagwell died in 1994.¹ He was buried at Olivewood Cemetery, Riverside, Riverside County, California.¹

     Dr. Howard Roberts Bagwell Jr. was born on 25 January 1938 in Chicago, Cook County, Illinois. He was the son of Howard Roberts Bagwell and Ruth Hedwig Matilda Herbold. Dr. Howard Roberts Bagwell Jr. died on 3 December 2002 in Portland, Multnomah County, Oregon, at age 64

Dr. Howard Roberts Bagwell Jr., a psychotherapist and psychiatrist who was equally in his element counseling the homeless and teaching advanced-level courses on Freud, died Tuesday, Dec. 3, of a heart attack. He was 64.

Dr. Bagwell , known to family and friends as Bob, crossed over many traditional barriers in his field in his personal practice and teaching.

"He read in all the fields," said his wife, Anne Bagwell . "He really didn't love one more than the other."

His broad intellectual curiosity was clear in the classrooms of the Northwest Center for Psychoanalysis, where he was on the faculty, said Kirsten Schwanke, who co-taught with him on several occasions.

"He was an exquisite teacher," said Schwanke, a psychoanalyst. "As we talked about psychiatry or psychology, he would bring in new ideas from music and from literature. He disliked narrowness in any form or shape."

Dr. Bagwell was also a strong advocate for homeless and indigent people in need of mental health care, said Anne Bagwell . He often kept seeing patients whose insurance had run out or who did not have the means to pay him.

He was an avid martial artist who practiced kung fu and aikido. He meditated every day for the past 40 years, his wife said.

He was born Jan. 25, 1938, in Chicago and moved to Portland in 1976. He received his medical degree from the University of Chicago. He served in the Oregon Mental Health Division and as a consultant to the Oregon State Hospital's Child and Adolescent Secure Treatment Program.

In 1981, he became director of psychiatric training at Providence Medical Center. He served on the board of directors of Janis Youth Programs. He maintained a private practice in Portland and taught at the Providence Psychotherapy Center and Clinic.

He is survived by his wife; daughter, Elizabeth; and brother, Richard.

A memorial service will be at 10 a.m. Saturday, Dec. 14, in the Multnomah Art Center, 7688 S.W. Capitol Highway.

     William A. Fearrington was born on 1 August 1882. He married Annie Ruth Bagwell, daughter of Edward Hiram G. Bagwell and Marjorie Price O'Neil, before 1905. William A. Fearrington died on 20 November 1950 at age 68. He was buried at Salem Moravian God's Acre, Winston-Salem, Forsyth County, North Carolina.

     Walter Bryant Stallings was born in November 1878 in Clayton, North Carolina. He married Martha Evangeline Bagwell, daughter of Edward Hiram G. Bagwell and Marjorie Price O'Neil, before 1900. Walter Bryant Stallings died on 10 June 1954 in Clayton, North Carolina, at age 75.

     Virgie Rachel Bagwell was born on 28 January 1890 in Winston, Mississippi. She was the daughter of Frederick Terry Bagwell and Rachel Weeks. Virgie Rachel Bagwell died on 16 April 1979 in Winston, Mississippi, at age 89.

     Thomas Henry Bagwell was born on 10 July 1925.¹ He was the son of Marvin Henry Bagwell and Lucille Davis. Thomas Henry Bagwell married Oma Irene Bowman after 1945. Thomas Henry Bagwell died on 14 February 1996 at age 70

Thomas H. Bagwell, 70, of the 6600 block of E. Virginia Beach Blvd., died Feb. 14, 1996, in a Norfolk hospital.
Mr. Bagwell, a native of Newberry, S.C., was retired from the U.S. Navy after 30 years of service. He was a Baptist and Navy veteran of World War II. He was a member of VFW and Moose Lodge (NU)39.
Survivors include his wife, Edna Bagwell; a daughter, Barbara B. Taylor of Virginia Beach; two stepdaughters, Linda Batdorf of Afton, Va., and Cindy Wright of Sierra Vista, Ariz; a son, Thomas H. Bagwell Jr. of Lorton, Va; four stepsons, Robert Simonton of Quincy, Mass., David Simonton of Montgomery, Ala., John Simonton of Quincy and Richard Simonton of Virginia Beach; stepmother, Lucille Bagwell of Lincolnton, Ga; a stepsister, Betty Veal of Dublin, Ga; five grandchildren; 22 step-grandchildren; a great-grandchild; and five step-great-grandchildren.
The funeral will be conducted at 11 a.m. Saturday by the Rev. David Rhodenhizer in Smith and Williams Funeral Home, Norfolk Chapel. Burial will be in Forest Lawn Cemetery with full military honors. The family will receive friends in the funeral home from 7 to 8:30 p.m. today. Memorial donations may be made to the American Heart Association.¹ He was buried at Forest Lawn Cemetery, Norfolk, Norfolk City, Virginia.¹

     Oma Irene Bowman was born on 8 August 1933.¹ As of after 1945,her married name was Bagwell. She married Thomas Henry Bagwell, son of Marvin Henry Bagwell and Lucille Davis, after 1945. Oma Irene Bowman died on 27 July 1988 at age 54.¹ She was buried at Forest Lawn Cemetery, Norfolk, Norfolk City, Virginia.¹

     William Henry Reid Sr. was born on 13 January 1897 in Cheriton, Northmampton County, Virginia. He married Lelia Mary Bagwell, daughter of George William Bagwell and Mary Virginia Wyatt, before 1920. William Henry Reid Sr. died on 6 April 1977 in Norfolk, Norfolk City, Virginia, at age 80. He was buried at Forest Lawn Cemetery, Norfolk, Norfolk City, Virginia.

     Victoria Iwanonwski was born on 6 March 1919 in Maryland. As of after 1930,her married name was Manown. She married George Frederick Manown, son of Edward Crane Manown and Winona Grace McClain, after 1930. Victoria Iwanonwski died on 24 April 1995 in Baltimore, Baltimore County, Maryland, at age 76.      Petronilla Bagley was born on 9 January 1882 in Lunenburg County, Virginia.¹ As of 28 August 1907,her married name was Bagwell. She married William Parker Bagwell, son of William Healy Bagwell and Susan Elizabeth Watson, on 28 August 1907 at Lunenburg County, Virginia. Petronilla Bagley died on 12 December 1973 at age 91.¹ She was buried at Lakeview Cemetery, Blackstone, Nottoway County, Virginia.¹

     Susan Seay Bagwell was born on 16 June 1911 in Blackstone, Nottoway County, Virginia.¹ She was the daughter of William Parker Bagwell and Petronilla Bagley. As of circa 1959,her married name was Moncure. Susan Seay Bagwell married Honorable William Irby Moncure circa 1959. Susan Seay Bagwell died on 23 June 1986 in Blackstone, Nottoway County, Virginia, at age 75.¹ She was buried at Lakeview Cemetery, Blackstone, Nottoway County, Virginia.¹

     William Parker Bagwell Jr. was born on 19 May 1914 in Blackstone, Virginia. He was the son of William Parker Bagwell and Petronilla Bagley. William Parker Bagwell Jr. married Annetta Bagley Irby on 15 April 1934 at Blackstone, Nottoway County, Virginia. William Parker Bagwell Jr. died on 20 August 2004 at age 90.

     John Watson Bagwell was born on 16 November 1881 in Exmore, Northampton County, Virginia. He was the son of William Healy Bagwell and Susan Elizabeth Watson. John Watson Bagwell married Neva Constance Arther before 1918. John Watson Bagwell died in March 1969 in Baltimore, Baltimore County, Maryland, at age 87. He was buried at Loudon Park Cemetery, Baltimore, Baltimore City, Maryland.

     William John Wolfe was born on 7 November 1900. He married Bettie Lee Bagwell, daughter of William Healy Bagwell and Susan Elizabeth Watson, on 2 August 1923 at Nansemond County, Virginia. William John Wolfe died on 5 August 1975 at age 74.

     Edward Earl Bagwell was born on 7 May 1904 in Northampton County, Virginia. He was the son of William Healy Bagwell and Susan Elizabeth Watson. Edward Earl Bagwell married Lurline Tanner on 17 September 1931 at Virginia. Edward Earl Bagwell married Bessie Richardson on 18 October 1969 at Cheriton, Virginia. Edward Earl Bagwell died on 28 February 1985 in Nassawadox, Northampton County, Virginia, at age 80. He was buried at Cape Charles Cemetery, Cape Charles, Northampton County, Virginia.

     Lurline Tanner was also known as Lurline Lyons. She was born in 1899 in Appomattox, Appomattox County, Virginia. As of 3 July 1915,her married name was Sowers. She married Troy Benson Sowers on 3 July 1915 at Lunenburg, Virginia. As of 17 September 1931,her married name was Bagwell. Lurline Tanner married Edward Earl Bagwell, son of William Healy Bagwell and Susan Elizabeth Watson, on 17 September 1931 at Virginia. Lurline Tanner died on 31 January 1969 in Jeff Davis County, Georgia. She was buried at Cape Charles Cemetery, Cape Charles, Northampton County, Virginia.

     Betty Ann Bagwell was also known as Bettye Ann Bagwell. She was born on 13 March 1947 in Freeport, Texas. She was the daughter of Hugh Bagwell and Jesse "Jackie" Phea Parson. As of 14 May 1966,her married name was Freeman. Betty Ann Bagwell married Richard Allen Freeman on 14 May 1966 at Brazoria County, Texas. Betty Ann Bagwell died on 8 January 2012 in Lovelady, Texas, at age 64.

     Richard Allen Freeman was born on 26 February 1940 in Houston, Texas. He married Betty Ann Bagwell, daughter of Hugh Bagwell and Jesse "Jackie" Phea Parson, on 14 May 1966 at Brazoria County, Texas. Richard Allen Freeman died on 4 May 2010 in Lovelady, Texas, at age 70.
