Re-enlisted as Private at Moulton, Ala. in the 42nd Regt., Whatley Co. and continued until spring or close of the war - paroled in Walker Co., Ala.
Washington Augustus Pendley Sr married Winnie Catherine Bagwell, daughter of Wiley Bagwell and Mary Polly York, circa 1865 at Tuscaloosa County, Alabama.
