Rayma D. Rogers passed away at the age of 87 in Tomball, Tx. Rayma was born in Hayrick, Tx. on May 26, 1932, the daughter of Floyd and Charlie Belle Bagwell. She was the sister of three brothers and one sister. Rayma is survived by three children: Patsy Calhoun and her spouse John, William M. and his spouse Vicki, and Kathy Dannenbaum and her spouse Michael. During her lifetime she enjoyed ten grandchildren, eighteen great-grandchildren, and 11 great-great-grandchildren. She loved every single one of them. She is also survived by her sister-in-law, Martha Bagwell.
During her life she had the opportunity to live in Texas, New Mexico, Georgia, Iran, Trinidad, Norway, and Scotland. She enjoyed traveling and learning about the culture of each new country.
Upon returning to Texas, Rayma and Bill settled in Ft. Worth and their final residence was to be outside Tomball, Tx.
Rayma’s biggest joy in life was her family, her church, and Ladies Bible class. Until her stroke you could count on her being at church without fail. She had a strong belief in family and in God. She was also an avid reader. You could always find her reading either Patterson, Grisham, or Coulter. While she was in Scotland, she learned to oil paint and found it to be very relaxing.

Due to COVID 19 restrictions the Visitation and Funeral Service will be private, by invitation only. Burial will take place in Magnolia Memorial Gardens, adjacent to Magnolia Funeral Home.


She was buried at Magnolia Memorial Gardens, Magnolia, Montgomery County, Texas.

She married Captain Donald Floyd Bagwell, son of Floyd Henry Bagwell and Charliebelle Brunson, after 1946. Mary Josephine Montgomery died on 2 September 1992 in San Angelo, Tom Green County, Texas, at age 53.

     Dixie Faye Sharp married Captain Donald Floyd Bagwell, son of Floyd Henry Bagwell and Charliebelle Brunson, on 13 June 1957 at Irion County, Texas.

     Todd Andrew Bagwell is the son of James Otis Bagwell and Martha Ann McClure.

     Shannon L. Griffith was also known as Shannon L. Hunter. She was born on 22 August 1939 in Payne Springs, Henderson County, Texas. As of 22 April 1995,her married name was Bagwell. She married Lawrence Lee Bagwell, son of Glenn Wilson Bagwell and Cloe Kathleen Thompson, on 22 April 1995 at Henderson County, Texas. Shannon L. Griffith died on 11 July 2012 in Texas at age 72. She was buried at Payne Springs Cemetery (New Section), Payne Springs, Henderson County, Texas.

     Barbara Lafern Crouch married Lawrence Lee Bagwell, son of Glenn Wilson Bagwell and Cloe Kathleen Thompson, on 29 November 1951 at Rockwall, Texas.

     Albert Sylvester Clements was born on 23 November 1914 in Lawrence County, Indiana. He married Dorothy Mae Bagwell, daughter of Melvin Llary Bagwell and Esther M. Sowder, on 21 March 1936 at Beford, Indiana. Albert Sylvester Clements died on 27 June 2006 in Glendale, Maricopa County, Arizona, at age 91.

Larry Monroe Bagwell married Joan Claudia (?) after 1962. Larry Monroe Bagwell died on 7 January 1992 in Lawrenceville, Gwinnett County, Georgia, at age 47. He was buried at Oakland Community Cemetery, Lawrenceville, Gwinnett County, Georgia.

     Hoyt Grafton Bagwell died on 2 January 1940 in Gwinnett County, Georgia. He was born on 2 January 1940 in Gwinnett County, Georgia. He was the son of Walter Hoyt Bagwell and Frances Monroe Gittens.
