     Auta Dewey Jones was born on 12 October 1890. He married Viva Leigh Bagwell, daughter of Edward Thomas Bagwell and Annie Brown Hopkins, on 27 March 1920 at Harrington, Kent County, Delaware. Auta Dewey Jones died in 1959. He was buried at Edge Hill Cemetery, Accomac, Accomack County, Virginia.

     Marilyn Alice Hiscock was born on 25 December 1932 in Atlanta, Georgia. As of before 1952,her married name was Bagwell. She married Jesse Greenberry Bagwell Jr., son of Jesse Greenberry Bagwell and Theolia Bell Salyer, before 1952. Marilyn Alice Hiscock died on 13 July 2023 at age 90

On July 13 Marilyn Hiscock Bagwell passed away peacefully at the age of 90 . Marilyn is survived by her children, Paula Cordy & Jesse Bagwell III; grandchildren Tiffany Bagwell, Shannon Bagwell & Rhiannon Hendey; great grandchildren Sienna & Tristan Hendey. She was preceded in death by her husband Jesse G Bagwell jr; brother Ernest Hiscock, and her parents.

Marilyn was born on December 25, 1932 in Atlanta, Georgia. She lived a full life: devoted to her family, active in her church, an established resident on Lake Irma, a faithful supporter of mission work. Marilyn was beloved by her family, her community & her animals.

A memorial service for Marilyn is scheduled at 11 am on July 20 at Aloma church followed by a 12:00 reception. There will be graveside burial ceremony at chapel hill cemetery at 1:30. Flowers and condolences can be sent to Aloma church.

She was buried on 20 July 2023 at Chapel Hill Cemetery, Orlando, Florida.

     Jesse Greenberry Bagwell III is the son of Jesse Greenberry Bagwell Jr. and Marilyn Alice Hiscock. Jesse Greenberry Bagwell III married Holly Lewayne Anderson on 11 August 1973 at Orange County, Florida.

     Paula Bagwell is the daughter of Jesse Greenberry Bagwell Jr. and Marilyn Alice Hiscock. Paula Bagwell married (?) Cordy after 1970.

     Robert Dolphs Bagwell was also known as Robert Dalphus Bagwell. He was born on 2 November 1936 in Fresno, Fresno County, California. He was the son of Hershel William Bagwell and Freba Areba Hammers. He was a US Marine. Robert Dolphs Bagwell married Jeanette L. Gamegan on 24 April 1956 at Fresno, Fresno County, California. Robert Dolphs Bagwell married Maria E. Samaniego on 1 July 1960 at Los Angeles, Los Angeles County, California. Robert Dolphs Bagwell married Darlene Marie Valente after 1963. Robert Dolphs Bagwell died on 16 November 1993 in Fullerton, Los Angeles County, California, at age 57. He was buried at Kern River Valley Cemetery, Wooford Heights, Kern County, California.

     Jeanette L. Gamegan was born in 1937. As of 24 April 1956,her married name was Bagwell. She married Robert Dolphs Bagwell, son of Hershel William Bagwell and Freba Areba Hammers, on 24 April 1956 at Fresno, Fresno County, California. Jeanette L. Gamegan died in 1980. She was buried at Chapel of the Light Columbarium, Fresno, Fresno County, California.

     Maria E. Samaniego married Robert Dolphs Bagwell, son of Hershel William Bagwell and Freba Areba Hammers, on 1 July 1960 at Los Angeles, Los Angeles County, California.

     Loretta Bagwell is the daughter of Robert Dolphs Bagwell and Jeanette L. Gamegan. Loretta Bagwell married (?) Casteel after 1976.

     Mamie Darleen Head was also known as Darleen Head. She was born on 1 April 1927 in Bibb County, Georgia. As of before 1978,her married name was Bagwell. She married Michael Charles Bagwell Sr., son of William Charles Bagwell and Betty Joyce Whaley, before 1978.¹ Mamie Darleen Head died on 6 March 2008 in Union City, Georgia, at age 80. She was buried on 15 March 2008 at Westview Cemetery, Atlanta, Georgia.

     April Velez married Jeffrey Nolan Bagwell, son of Michael Charles Bagwell Sr. and Mamie Darleen Head, after 1995.¹

     Melvin Wade Jefferson was born on 31 December 1922 in Anderson, Anderson County, South Carolina. He married Bonnie Lee Bagwell, daughter of Joel Fred Bagwell and Eva Jane Mull, after 1945. Melvin Wade Jefferson died on 23 December 2005 in Greenville, Greenville County, South Carolina, at age 82

Melvin W. Jefferson Sr., 82, of Greenville, died Dec. 23, 2005, at his home.

Born in Anderson, he was the son of the late W.H. Jefferson and Vera Childs Jefferson and was the husband of the late Bonnie Lee Bagwell Jefferson.

Mr. Jefferson was a member of the Sam Poe Masonic Lodge and was a Hejaz Shriner. He was also a member of City View First Baptist Church.

He served in the U.S. Army and was a veteran of World War II and the Korean War. Before his retirement, Mr. Jefferson worked as a shift supervisor in the textile industry.

He is survived by three daughters and sons-in-law, Betty and Ronald Taylor of Greenville, Nancy and Darrell Keller of Greenville, and Kathy and Terry Bates of Charleston; one son, M.W. "Mike" Jefferson Jr.and his wife, Johnie, of Greenville; three sisters, Debra Delk, Kay Childress, and Sandra Freeman; four grandchildren, Ron Taylor, Kendell Jefferson, Adrian Wooten, and Ashley Jefferson; and four great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by two brothers, Vivian E. Jefferson and Phillip Ray Jefferson; and a grandson, M.W. "Michael" Jefferson III.

Visitation will be Monday from 1:30 to 2:45 p.m. at Thomas McAfee Funeral Home, Downtown, with services at 3 p.m.
Burial will follow at Graceland West Cemetery.
