     Thurmon Otto Barrett was born on 13 June 1916. He married Jessie Bernard Bagwell, daughter of Forrest Lee Bagwell and Hazel Atkins, before 1940. Thurmon Otto Barrett died in October 1976 at age 60. He was buried at Hillcrest Memorial Park, Pickens, Pickens County, South Carolina.

     Frances Joann Massingale was born on 22 April 1953 in Greenville, Greenville County, South Carolina. As of after 1971,her married name was Bagwell. She married Joel Ernest Bagwell, son of Claude Ernest Bagwell and Dorothy Eller "Dot" Page, after 1971. Frances Joann Massingale died on 4 January 2008 in Greenville, Greenville County, South Carolina, at age 54

Frances Joann Massingale Bagwell, age 54, died on Friday, January 4, 2008, at Palmetto Health Baptist.

A native of Greenville County, the daughter of Joseph Wilburn Massingale (1885-1964) and Essie Odessa Lindsey Massingale Timms (1917-2010); wife of Ernest Joel Bagwell.

A former employee of G.N.C. and of the Baptist faith.

Other survivors include her daughter, Angela Colley Burnett; son, Shannon David Colley; brothers, Alvin Massingale and Ronnie Massingale; sisters, Daisy Mae Massingale Blackwell (1940-2020), Dolly Massingale Heape, Lillie Massingale Wagoner (1948-2015), and Pauline Massingale (1955-2010); and five grandchildren.

Also predeceased by a sister, Hazel Earline Massingale (1942-2005); brother, James Calvin Massingale (1945-1952) and a half-brother Daniel Massingale.

Funeral services were held at 4:00 pm, Monday, January 7, 2008, at Wood Mortuary, conducted by Rev. Keith Kelly, Rev. Eric Campbell, and Rev. David Gallimore; burial was in Hillcrest Memorial Gardens.

She was buried at Hillcrest Memorial Gardens, Greer, Spartanburg County, South Carolina.

     Brian Keith Bagwell is the son of Joel Ernest Bagwell and Frances Joann Massingale.

Chadwick Austin Bagwell died on 30 March 1985 in Simpsonville, South Carolina. He was buried on 1 April 1985 at Graceland West Cemetery and Mausoleum, Greenville, Greenville County, South Carolina.

     Rennie Jacob Pippel was born on 5 February 1918 in Sturdevant, Wisconsin. He married Mary Lucille Bagwell, daughter of Joseph Bagwell and Mary Johnson, on 24 August 1940 at Dubuque, Iowa.¹ He was in the US Army from July 24, 1944 to December 8, 1944. Rennie Jacob Pippel died on 16 March 1994 in Knapp Medical Center, Hidalgo County, Texas, at age 76.

     Sharon Lee Pippel is the daughter of Rennie Jacob Pippel and Mary Lucille Bagwell.¹ Sharon Lee Pippel married Richard A. Brunson on 22 July 1960 at Winnebago County, Illinois.
