He married Rose Driver on August 11, 1964 in Lovington, NM.Joe passed away at the Western Hills Care Center in Comanche, Texas. He is survived by his wife; three daughters; two sons; one sister; 18 grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren; and one great great-grandchild.He was preceded in death by two children, Gail Revera in 1991 and Michael Bagwell in 1989.1
He was buried at Gardens of Memory Cemetery, Comanche, Comanche County, Texas.1

     Rose Ann Driver was born on 31 December 1939 in Erath County, Texas.1 As of 11 August 1964,her married name was Bagwell.1 She married Furnie Joe Bagwell, son of Knox Earnest Bagwell and Rosa Pearl Wilson, on 11 August 1964 at Lovington, New Mexico.1 Rose Ann Driver died on 12 February 2014 in Caprock, Lea County, New Mexico, at age 74 Rose Ann Driver Bryant Bagwell was born on December 31, 1939 in Erath County, Texas. She was the sixth child born to Joseph Lonzo Driver and Clarise Ophelia Barnett Driver.

The Lord took her home on February 12, 2014 after a bravely fought battle with her illness. She died at her home at Caprock, New Mexico with her much loved family by her side.

Rose is survived by brother Morris (Chris) Driver of Pampa, Texas, daughter Pam (Craig) Dallas of Caprock, NM, sons Russell (Delia) Bryant of Tatum, NM, Mitchell Bagwell of Artesia, NM. She was known as Mimi to grandchildren: Jared & Patrick Dallas, Kelcia (Tyler Roberts) Bryant & Cody (Sandra Rosas) Bryant, Samantha Bagwell (Bran) Tinker & Elisha Bagwell. She was blessed with great grandchildren: Emersyn & Rolan Bryant and Jordan Roberts.

She was proceeded in death by her parents, husband Joe Bagwell, sons Richard Wayne Bryant and Michael Dale Bagwell, sisters Helen Chambers, Doris Jaggers, Gladys Ramey, Betty Vaughn and brother Joseph Lyn Driver.

Rose raised her family in Lea County, NM moving to Comanche, TX after her husband's retirement where they had a pecan farm. She loved nature, reading, traveling, baking and cooking for her family as well as playing dominoes at the Gustine, TX Senior Citizens Center and attending the Board Baptist Church in Comanche.

Services for Rose will be held on February 15 at 11:00 at Stevens Funeral Home in Lovington with Bro. Harry Pittam officiating. Services also will be held on February 17th at 2:00 pm at the Heartland Funeral Home of Comanche with Bro. Gerald Burns officiating.

*In lieu of flowers the family asks donations for Board Baptist, Tatum Baptist Church, St. Jude's Children's Hospital.

*Pallbearers will be Jared & Patrick Dallas, Cody Bryant, Bran Tinker, Tyler Roberts, Randy Ramey, Sonny Thackerson, Alec Vaughn, Mike Ramey. Honorary pallbearers grand children, great grand children, nieces, and nephews.

Pallbearers will be Randy McCormick, Matt Rodgers, Davey Brunson, Thomas Edwards, Bobby Goff and Frank Maroney. Burial will be in Ridge Crest Memorial Park. Mrs. Maroney, wife of the late Boyd Maroney, died Friday, January 10, 2003. Born in Hickory Tavern, she was a daughter of the late Milton Outz and Fair Bell Davenport Bagwell. She was a retired textile employee. Mrs. Maroney was a member of Amick Grove Pentecostal Holiness Church and the Willing Workers Sunday School Class at West Creek Baptist Church.
Surviving are sons and daughters-in-law, Jerry and Beth Maroney, John and Peggy Maroney, David and Kathy Maroney, all of Batesburg; daughters and sons-in-law, Judy and Bryson Cockrell of Batesburg, Brenda and Randy McCormick of Pelion; brother, James "Red" Bagwell of Batesburg; stepson, Ken Miles of Batesburg; stepdaughter and son-in-law, Debbie and Gary Gregory of Gilbert; 14 grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren.
