Richard Roy Bagwell, born March 4, 1938 in Marietta, GA and passed away October 06, 2023 at home in Kennesaw, GA. He was 85 years old. He grew up in Smyrna, GA and graduated from Campbell High School in 1958. He joined the United States Marine Reserves and spent two years there but was honorably discharged due to asthma.
Richard was preceded in death by his Father, William Roy Bagwell and Mother, Margaret Kuykendall Bagwell and his sister, Phyllis Christine Bagwell Booher Spry.
He is survived by his niece, Dawn Peyton Booher Ricketts, her husband and his caregiver/nephew-in-law, William Ricketts, grand niece, Abigail M. Ricketts, all of Kennesaw, GA, Sister, Anther Beverly Bagwell Marmon Yerby Schoenborn, niece Cindy Hill and family, all of Braselton, GA and cousins.
He was cremated by Georgia Funeral Care in Acworth, GA. No services will be held.
