BAGWELL, CHARLES - 26 Aug. 1792 - 24 June 1793 - To son Charles Bagwell the use of the plantation I bought of James Arbuckle with my two mills for life, & then to be equally divided between all his chil­dren, & should they die before 21 years without issue then the land on the North side of Little Back Creek, alias Timber Creek, to be div among the children of my son in law Thomas Evans, namely John, Ned & Thomas, & all the land on the South side of the said Creek, with my 2 mills, to be divided between the children of Sally Cropper Mears. To negro Daniel his freedom & 6 acres in Robins Hole for life. To Esther Carter 1 acres in Robins Hole where she now lives. To Sally Cropper Mears all the rest of my land in Robins Hole including the land given Daniel after his deceased, for the term of her natural life, reversion to her son Revil Mears. Son Charles residual legatee. Son in law Thomas Evans, son Charles Bagwell & Thomas Evans' 3 sons, John, Ned & Thomas Exrs. Not witnessed.      Rachel Shield died circa 1796 in Accomack County, Virginia.¹

     Rosa Bagwell was born after 1713. She was the daughter of Thomas Bagwell and Rachel Shield.¹

     Stephen Bagwell was born after 1713. He was the son of Thomas Bagwell and Rachel Shield.¹

     Tabitha Bagwell was born in 1716 in Accomack County, Virginia. She was the daughter of Henry Bagwell and Margaret Drummond.¹ Tabitha Bagwell died before 10 November 1766 in Accomack County, Virginia Colony.

     Ann Bagwell was the daughter of Henry Bagwell and Unknown Crippen.¹

     Alexander Bagwell was born circa 1670.¹ He was the son of John Bagwell and (?) Ann.¹ Alexander Bagwell married Neomy Maddox before 1705. Alexander Bagwell left a will on 27 October 1722 at Written in Northampton Co., Virginia.¹ He died circa 1723 in Northampton County, Virginia.¹ He left a will on 8 January 1723 at Probated in Northampton County, Virginia.¹

     Neomy Maddox was also known as Neomy Maddux. As of before 1705,her married name was Bagwell. She married Alexander Bagwell, son of John Bagwell and (?) Ann, before 1705.

     Rebecca Bagwell was the daughter of Alexander Bagwell and Neomy Maddox.¹

     Sarah Bagwell was the daughter of Alexander Bagwell and Neomy Maddox.¹

     Ann Bagwell was the daughter of Alexander Bagwell and Neomy Maddox.¹

     Her married name was Marshall.¹ Her married name was Roberts.¹ Margaret Bagwell was born circa 1705.¹ She was the daughter of Alexander Bagwell and Neomy Maddox.¹ Margaret Bagwell married Arthur Roberts II on 3 November 1724 at Northampton County, Virginia.¹ Margaret Bagwell married Jacob Marshall in 1749 at Northampton County, Virginia.¹

     Arthur Roberts II married Margaret Bagwell, daughter of Alexander Bagwell and Neomy Maddox, on 3 November 1724 at Northampton County, Virginia.¹ Arthur Roberts II died in 1748 in Northampton County, Virginia.¹

     Margaret Sarah Roberts was born on 26 November 1818.¹ She was the daughter of Edmund Powell Roberts and Sarah Mapp.¹ Margaret Sarah Roberts died on 9 February 1842 at age 23.¹

     Virginia Ann Roberts was born on 1 November 1820.¹ She was the daughter of Edmund Powell Roberts and Sarah Mapp.¹ Virginia Ann Roberts died on 12 October 1823 at age 2.¹
