     Minerva J. Bagwell was born on 9 March 1834 in Parke County, Indiana.¹ She was the daughter of William Bagwell and Elizabeth Elliott Martin. Minerva J. Bagwell married James S. Droke on 30 May 1859 at Parke County, Indiana. As of 30 May 1859,her married name was Droke. Minerva J. Bagwell died on 11 March 1909 in Idaville, White County, Indiana, at age 75.¹ She was buried at Idaville Cemetery, Idaville, White County, Indiana.¹

     James S. Droke was born on 5 June 1838 in Sullivan County, Tennessee.¹ He married Minerva J. Bagwell, daughter of William Bagwell and Elizabeth Elliott Martin, on 30 May 1859 at Parke County, Indiana. James S. JAMES S. DROKE was born in Sullivan County, Tenn., June 5, 1834, and at the age of fifteen came to this county with his parents, whom he left at the age of twenty-one, and began farming on his own account. He was married, in 1859, to Miss Minerva Bagwell, a native of Parke County, Ind., born March 8, 1833, and daughter of William and Elizabeth (Martin) Bagwell, of North Carolina were married in Parke County, and there reared a family of thirteen children, and who died in this county at the-age of seventy-two and seventy-eight years respectively. Mr. and Mrs. Droke became the parents of five children-William D., Alice, Mary E., John F. and Amanda J. Of these, only Mary E. and Amanda J. are living. Mr. Droke, on his marrying, located on the home farm, where he remained eight years and then removed to Cass County, this State, where be lived two years, and then came to his present farm of sixty-eight acres. He and wife are members of the United Presbyterian Church.¹ He was buried at Idaville Cemetery, Idaville, White County, Indiana.¹

     John F. Droke was born in White County, Indiana. He was the son of James S. Droke and Minerva J. Bagwell. John F. Droke died on 2 November 1867. He was buried at Idaville Cemetery, Idaville, White County, Indiana.

     Amanda J. Droke was born in 1868 in White County, Indiana. She was the daughter of James S. Droke and Minerva J. Bagwell. Amanda J. Droke died on 19 July 1884. She was buried at Idaville Cemetery, Idaville, White County, Indiana.

     Euphony Bagwell was born on 13 October 1834 in Mansfield, Parke County, Indiana. She was the daughter of William Bagwell and Elizabeth Elliott Martin. As of 30 December 1852,her married name was Barton. Euphony Bagwell married William A. Barton on 30 December 1852 at Parke County, Indiana. Euphony Bagwell died in 1911 in Rogers, Benton County, Arkansas.

     William A. Barton was born on 20 November 1831 in Kentucky. He married Euphony Bagwell, daughter of William Bagwell and Elizabeth Elliott Martin, on 30 December 1852 at Parke County, Indiana. William A. Barton died on 26 February 1895 in Rogers, Benton County, Arkansas, at age 63.

     Elvira Violet Bagwell was born on 2 October 1836 in Parke County, Indiana. She was the daughter of William Bagwell and Elizabeth Elliott Martin. As of 5 March 1857,her married name was Snow. Elvira Violet Bagwell married Benjamin Lacy Snow on 5 March 1857 at Parke County, Indiana. Elvira Violet Bagwell died on 4 October 1917 in Raccoon, Parke County, Indiana, at age 81. She was buried at Pleasant Valley Cemetery, Parke County, Indiana.

     Benjamin Lacy Snow was born on 21 August 1833 in Parke County, Indiana. He married Elvira Violet Bagwell, daughter of William Bagwell and Elizabeth Elliott Martin, on 5 March 1857 at Parke County, Indiana. Benjamin Lacy Snow died on 13 February 1904 in Bridgeton, Parke County, Indiana, at age 70. He was buried at Pleasant Valley Cemetery, Parke County, Indiana.
