     Colonel Harvey Arthur Berger was born on 3 October 1905 in Halstead, Harvey County, Kansas. He married Clara Belle Bagwell, daughter of Gordon Richard Bagwell and Birdie E. Crowell, on 1 September 1937 at Madrona, King County, Washington. He served in the US Army Air Forces as a Colonel and earned the Silver Star, Distinguished Flying Cross, Bronze Star, Purple Heart, and I beleive the French Croix de Guerre with Palm. He was with the Headquarters, 316th Troop Carrier Group when he died. Colonel Harvey Arthur Berger died on 3 April 1945 in Cologne, Cologne, Stadtkreis Köln, Nordrhein-Westfalen, Germany, at age 39. He was buried at Ardennes American Cemetery and Memorial, Neuville-en-Condroz, Arrondissement de Liège, Liège, Belgium.

     Holly Wiley married Phillip Jackson Bagwell, son of John Edward Bagwell and Rose Louise Bowman, circa 1979.

     Diana Bagwell is the daughter of Phillip Jackson Bagwell and Holly Wiley.

     Command Sergeant Major Donald Barrie Bagwell was born on 9 August 1946 in Bradford County, Florida. He was the son of Donald Franklin Bagwell and Dorothy Rae Dixon. Command Sergeant Major Donald Barrie Bagwell married Shirley Morrison circa 1967. Command Sergeant Major Donald Barrie Bagwell died on 4 April 2024 in HCA Florida North Florida Hospital, Gainesville, Alachua County, Florida, at age 77


Mr. Donald “Donnie: Barrie Bagwell age 77, of Starke passed away Thursday, April 4, 2024, at HCA Florida North Florida Hospital. Mr. Bagwell was born on August 9, 1946, in Bradford County to the late Donald Franklin and Dorothy Rae (Dixon) Bagwell and was a lifelong area resident. Don was a member of First Baptist Church of Starke and retired from the United States Army and Florida National Guard as a Command Sergeant Major. During his 32-year military career, he also worked for the Florida Department of Transportation as a structural material and research lab manager. His philosophy was “Let No Soul Cry Out, If Only I had Been Trained”. Survivors are his wife of 57 years, Shirley (Morrison) Bagwell of Starke, son, Donald “Byron” Bagwell of Keystone Heights, nephew, Shane Johnson of Plano, Texas, and brother in-law Johnnie Johnson of Starke. The family will receive friends in the DeWitt C. Jones Chapel on Thursday, April 11, 2024, beginning at 11:00 a.m. Funeral services will begin at 12:00 p.m. Entombment will follow at Crosby Lake Cemetery Mausoleum with military honors.      Hattie Louise Crabtree was born on 8 September 1902. As of 1934,her married name was Bagwell. She married Walter Arthur Bagwell, son of Andrew Jackson Bagwell and Margaret Caroline Thompson, in 1934. Hattie Louise Crabtree died on 17 August 1978 at age 75. She was buried at Poplar Springs Cemetery, Poplar Springs, Roane County, Tennessee.

     Margaret Anna Bagwell was born on 2 August 1934. She was the daughter of Walter Arthur Bagwell and Hattie Louise Crabtree. As of after 1952,her married name was Donaldson. Margaret Anna Bagwell married (?) Donaldson after 1952. Margaret Anna Bagwell died on 18 November 2018 in Rockwood, Roane County, Tennessee, at age 84

Margaret Anna Bagwell Donaldson age 84 of Rockwood passed away Sunday, November 18,2018 at Signature Health Care of Rockwood.

She was a member of Liberty Baptist Church.

She owned and operated a beauty salon in Memphis, Tennessee for many years.

Survivors include daughter and son in law Denise and Charles Rains, Sons and daughter in law, Gregory and Linda Donaldson, Michael Donaldson, 7 Grandchildren, 13 Great Grand children 1 Great Great Grandchild and special family members Donna and Johnny Bryson.

Memorial Service will be November 26, 2018 at 6:30 p.m with Rev. J.C. Allan officiating in the Kyker Chapel.

Private interment at Poplar Springs Cemetery.

In Lieu of flowers donations can be made to Home Health Care of East Tennessee and Hospice.
