Born in Greenwood April 29, 1909 a daughter of the late William Leroy and Mattie Russell Blum, she was the last member of her immediate family. Ms. Bagwell was a lifetime member of Bethlehem Union Church.

Survivors include her daughter, Mildred Adams of the home; sons, Paul William "Jack" Bagwell, Jr. of Greenwood, John Marvin "Johnny" Bagwell and Joseph David "Joe" Bagwell, both of Anderson; numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, great-great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews also survive.

Funeral services will be conducted Wednesday at 2:00 PM from the Blyth Funeral Home Chapel with Reverend Charles Caldwell officiating. Interment will follow in Bethlehem Union Church Cemetery.

Pallbearers will be Donnie Bagwell, Ronnie Bagwell, Michael Parsons, Bryant Bagwell, Robbie Sweezy and Derrick Bagwell.

Honorary escort will be grandchildren, great-grandchildren, Sam Phillips, Bern Bagwell and Vernon Bagwell.1

She was buried at Bethlehem Union Church Cemetery, Waterloo, Laurens County, South Carolina.1

Paul William Bagwell Jr. married Willie Mae Allen circa 1948.1 Paul William Bagwell Jr. died on 21 February 2013 in Greenwood County, South Carolina, at age 83 Paul William "Jack" Bagwell, Jr., 83, resident of 312 Sagewood Road, husband of Willie Mae Allen Bagwell, went to be with his Lord and Savior February 21, 2013. Born in Laurens County, April 22, 1929, he was a son of the late Paul William, Sr. and Sarah Anne Blum Bagwell. Jack began a career in the automobile business at a young age starting with Moore Chevrolet as a mechanic. He owned and operated his own mechanic shop and later worked with Dickey Chevrolet where he began as the shop manager. That led into new car sales and he later became new car sales manager. He also served as new car sales manager with Ben Milton Chevrolet and decided to open his own business, Bagwell's Auto Sales, Inc., in 1980. For over thirty years he was Owner/President of the business providing quality used cars to residents of Greenwood and the surrounding area. Jack was a very active member of Hodges Church of God and the Senior Men's Sunday School Class of the church. He also formerly served as a deacon and church treasurer. He was a loving husband, father and grandfather and will be greatly missed by all. Surviving, in addition to his loving and caring wife of sixty-four years of the home, are two daughters, Ann Campbell and husband Bob and Jean Parsons and husband Jimmy, both of Hodges; twin sons, Ronnie Bagwell and wife Tammy and Donnie Bagwell and wife Connie, both of Greenwood; ten grandchildren, Shelley Renshaw and husband Jason, Michael Parsons and wife Amy, Melanie Davis and husband Cal, Chrissy Phillips and husband Sam, Amanda Hall and husband Tanner, Beth Graham and husband Brandon, Brandon Bagwell and wife Eliza, Josh Bagwell, Christopher Bagwell and Taylor Bagwell; fifteen great-grandchildren, Brianna King, McKenzie Graham, Kaitlyn Phillips, Savanna Graham, Lauren Phillips, Landen Parsons, Alyssa Graham, Sarah Renshaw, Perrin Bagwell, Megan Renshaw, Annslee Hall, Sawyer Bagwell, Aiden Hall, Blair Bagwell and Aiden Bagwell; sister, Mildred Adams of Greenwood; and brother, Johnny Bagwell of Anderson. Mrs. Adams was a member of Providence Pentecostal Holiness Church.
She was predeceased by six brothers and a sister.
Funeral services will be conducted at 4:30 pm Thursday at the Blyth Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Ben Edwards officiating.
The family is at the home in Avondale, and will receive friends at the funeral home from 6-8 Wed evening

LYMAN, SC - February 10 - Funeral services for Mrs. Selena Bagwell Rogers, 62, who died at a Spartanburg hospital Saturday morning at 9 o'clock after an illness of two weeks, will be held Sunday afternoon at 4 o'clock at the Lyman Baptist church, of which she had been a member for the past 11 yeard, conducted by Rev. A. H. Wilson, assisted by Rev. R. R. Brady, Rev. Carol O. Page and Rev. Dewey A. Martin. Interment will be in the Poplar Springs Church cemetery.

Mrs. Rogers was the daughter of the late Wiley and Laura Bowen Bagwell. She was born and reared in Spartanburg County. She is survived by her step-mother, Mrs. Wiley Bagwell, of Moore's Station. She was married to S. V. Rogers, who died 12 years ago, and to this union were born the following children who survive: Mrs. B. J. Boyter and Mrs. W. J. Jenkins, Greer; V. W. Rogers, Fairforest; G. W. Rogers, Arcadia mill, Spartanburg; W. B. Rogers, Greenwood; E. R. Rogers and Rev. C. B. Rogers, Greenville; C. P. Rogers, Tigerville; F. P. Rogers, Mrs. J. A. Hughes, R. N. Mr. Bagwell was born in Pickens, SC, on Dec. 26, 1927, a son of the late Walter Lee and Ara Jane Porter Bagwell. He was a retired employee of the Pickens Cotton Mill, and was formerly associated with Robinson Funeral Home in Easley and Brice W. Herndon & Sons Funeral Home in Walterboro.

He was a Baptist and Army veteran, and loved woodworking.

Surviving are his wife of 58 years, Veronica Green Bagwell of Pickens; a daughter, Martha Heape and her husband, George, of Green Pond, SC; two grandchildren, Alicia Heape Rouse and her husband, Alan, and George Edward Heape and his wife, Melissa; two great-grandchildren; and one niece. He was preceded in death by two brothers.

The family will receive friends from 6-8pm Saturday at Robinson Funeral Home-Downtown. Funeral services will be held at 2pm Sunday in the chapel of Robinson Funeral Home-Downtown, with burial to follow in Hillcrest Memorial Park.
