     David Lawrence Bagwell was born on 20 August 1946 in Los Angeles, Los Angeles County, California. He was the son of Henry Arthur Bagwell and Margaret Anderson. He enlisted in the US Army on 19 May 1965 and served in Vietnam. He served in the 82nd QM (ARS) TUSA, 82nd Airborne Division, and 82nd Repl Det. He was a SP5 at the time of his death. David Lawrence Bagwell died on 23 May 1968 in McAlester, Pittsburg County, Oklahoma, at age 21. He was buried at Elmwood Cemetery, Hartshorne, Pittsburg County, Oklahoma.

     Rita Ann Tuggle was born on 4 August 1950 in Tulsa, Oklahoma. As of December 1966,her married name was Bagwell. She married Charles Lee Bagwell, son of Charles Eugene Bagwell and Ruthadean Cone, in December 1966 at Tulsa, Oklahoma. Rita Ann Tuggle and Charles Lee Bagwell were divorced in June 1975 at Tulsa, Oklahoma. Rita Ann Tuggle married David Lynn Bagwell, son of Charles Eugene Bagwell and Ruthadean Cone, on 13 March 1976 at Tulsa, Oklahoma. Rita Ann Tuggle died on 3 December 2023 in Tulsa, Oklahoma, at age 73

Funeral services for Rita Ann Bagwell, 73, of Tulsa, Oklahoma, will be held at 10:30am, on Friday, December 08, 2023, at Rose Hill Funeral Home. A viewing will be held the day prior to the service, on Thursday, December 07, 2023, from 10:00am until 5:00pm.

Rita Ann Bagwell was born on August 04, 1950, in Tulsa, Oklahoma, to Emmett and Helen (Bright) Tuggle. She departed this life on December 03, 2023, in Tulsa, Oklahoma, at the age of 73.

Rita was a lifetime resident of Tulsa. She was married to David “D.L.” Bagwell, on March 13, 1976, in Tulsa. During her life, Rita was employed in various capacities. Regardless of what position she held, Rita was always a devoted employee and a hard worker. But above all, Rita was first and foremost a homemaker for her family. In her spare time, Rita enjoyed buying and re-selling goods, trips to the casino, keeping track of the weather and being sure to alert friends and family of approaching storms.

Rita is survived by her mother, Helen Tuggle; husband, D.L. Bagwell; children: Eddie (Shelly) Bagwell, Shawn Bagwell, Angie (David) Newcomer; grandchildren: Michael Frost, Jake (Chasity) Bagwell, Brandie Frost, Caleb Newcomer, Nick Bagwell, Cameron Newcomer, Luke Bagwell; great-grandchildren: Brooklyn Brown, Jeremy Ballard, Ariana Downing; daughter-in-law, Stacey Bagwell; brother, Larry Tuggle; sisters, Juanita Keller, and Anita Baldwin.

Rita was preceded in death by her father, Emmett Tuggle.


She was buried on 8 December 2023.

     Francois Babou Bagwell was also known as Francoisa Baboula. He was born on 3 February 1948 in Atlanta, Georgia. He was the son of Dorothy Bagwell. Francois Babou Bagwell died on 9 December 2023 in Atlanta, Georgia, at age 75. He was buried on 29 December 2023 at Lincoln Cemetery, Atlanta, Georgia.

     Dorothy Bagwell was born on 15 January 1927 in Atlanta, Georgia. She was the daughter of Robert Lee Bagwell and Sallie Mae Tinsley. Dorothy Bagwell died on 27 January 2021 in Atlanta, Georgia, at age 94. She was buried on 31 January 2021 at Lincoln Cemetery, Atlanta, Fulton County, Georgia.

     Martin Jeffery Bagwell was born on 12 December 1912 in Union, Mississippi. He was the son of Thomas Hape Bagwell and Mary Kathrine Gordon. Martin Jeffery Bagwell married Robbie L. Vance after 1940. Martin Jeffery Bagwell died on 7 January 1976 in Memphis, Tennessee, at age 63. He was buried at Memphis Funeral Home and Memorial Gardens, Bartlett, Shelby County, Tennessee.
