Milton Jarboe Bagwell died on 11 January 2012 in Lebanon, Marion County, Kentucky, at age 91 Mr. Milton Jarboe Bagwell, age 91, of Lebanon, KY, passed away Wednesday, January 11, 2012 at Spring View Hospital In Lebanon. He was born on April 19, 1929 in Marion County, KY. Mr. Bagwell was a member of the Lebanon Baptist Church, where he served as a Deacon for many years. He was also a retired farmer who enjoyed coon hunting and raising miniture donkeys.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Tom and Lena Campbell Bagwell; infant son, Joseph Benedict Bagwell; grandson, Todd Bagwell; two brothers, O'Neal and Silas Bagwell; sister, Hazel Bagwell Coulter.

Survivors included his wife, Lorene Benedict Bagwell, of Lebanon, KY; daughter Patricia Faye (Bob, Sr.) Mattingly, of Louisville, KY; four sons, Milton, Jr. (Gail) of Shepherdsville, KY, Thomas Warren (Joyce), Ronnie (Glenna) and Donnie (Connie) all of Lebanon, KY; also surviving are nine grandchildren, fifteen great-grandchildre, five great-great-grandchildren.

Funeral Services were held at 1:00 p.m. Sunday, January 15, 2012 at Bosley Funeral Home, officiated by Dr. David Whitlock. Interment at Ryder Cemetery.

James O'Neal Bagwell, the 12-year-old son of Mr. and Mrs. Thomas Bagwell, died at the home of his parents on Campbellsville pike just beyond the city limits Monday afternoon of pneumonia. The boy was stricken Friday and death followed three days later. It was the seventh attack of the same disease that he had suffered in the last five years, and during at east three of these hope for recovery was abandoned. The boy was a bright, manly little fellow and a favorite with all who knew him.

Funeral services, conducted by the Rev. W. C. Hundley, were held at the Baptist church Tuesday afternoon and burial was in Ryder Cemetery. Other than his parents, two younger brothers survive.

Mr. and Mrs. Bagwell formerly lived in the Gravel Switch section but have been making their home here for the last three years. He was buried at Ryder Cemetery, Lebanon, Marion County, Kentucky.

John W. Mouser, 66 years old, died at his home on East Main Street Wednesday afternoon at 5:15 o'clock of apoplexy. He was stricken on August 1 and had since that time been in a serious condition. Hope for his recovery was abandoned several days before he passed away. Mr. Mouser was a son of John H. and Hester Catlin Mouser and was born in this county on February 17, 1862. All of his life he was a resident of the county, and until eight years ago was engaged in farming. At that time he moved to town, purchasing the Rowntree property on East Main Street where he had since lived. He frequently served as a police officer of the city, and always discharged his duties most satisfactorily. He was a Republican in politics and took an active interest in the affairs of the party. A few years ago he made the race for Sheriff of the county, but was defeated, the county being overwhelmingly Democratic. Surviving Mr. Mouser are his wife, who was Miss Georgia Bagwell, and eleven children. They are Mrs. R. C. Hays of Marion County, Mrs. Hugh Hall of Washington County, Mrs. Charlie Hatchett of Washington County, Mrs. Charlie Russell of Marion County, Mrs. Eb Glazebrook of Lebanon, Mrs. Mary Yankey of Lebanon, Mrs. Hardin Bosley of Dubuque, Iowa, and Tom Mouser of Louisville, Roy Mouser of Louisville and Will and Gilbert Mouser of Lebanon. Another child, Mrs. Sam Litsey died a few years ago. Funeral services will be held this morning at the Baptist church by the Rev. T. J. Porter. Burial will follow in Ryder Cemetery.1 He was buried at Ryder Cemetery, Lebanon, Marion County, Kentucky.1

Jeanetta Bagwell ,92, of the Massac Community died at 8:15 a.m. Monday, February 13, 2012 at Southgate Health Care Center in Metropolis, IL.

Mrs. Bagwell was a retired clerk and receptionist of Paducah Tilghman Area Vocational School. She was a lifetime member of Massac United Methodist Church of Paducah where she was a member of the Women's Missionary Society and was a member of McCracken County Homemakers.

She is survived by two sons, Larry Bagwell and wife Sandy of Gilbertsville, Phillip Bagwell and wife Sandra of the Massac Community; one daughter, Janet Sims and husband Bill of Lone Oak; five grandchildren, Sabrina Moss, Missy Bowser, Andy Bagwell, Randy Bagwell and Karissa Bagwell; eleven great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Dalton Andrew Bagwell; one grandson, Mark A. Bagwell; one brother, Woodrow Thompson and two sisters, Lena Price and Ruth Layton. Her parents were Leonard Thompson and Mona White Thompson.

Funeral service will be 1:00 p.m. Thursday, February 16, 2012 at Hughes Funeral Home of Paducah with Bro. Bill Shoulta and Bro. John Smithmeir officiating. Burial will follow at Woodlawn Memorial Gardens.

Visitation will be from 5p.m. until 8p.m. Wednesday, February 15, 2012 at the funeral home.
