     Reverend George Washington Bagwell was born on 23 May 1853 in Howard County, Indiana.1,2,3 He was the son of William Thomas Bagwell and Sarah Privett.1,3 Reverend George Washington Bagwell married Alecta Hicks, daughter of Abraham Hicks and Hannah Farr, on 11 November 1894 at Greentown, Howard County, Indiana.2,5 He was a Baptist minister.6 Reverend George Washington Bagwell died on 25 June 1918 in Harrison Township, Howard County, Indiana, at age 65.7,5 He was buried at Jerome Cemetery, Union Township, Howard County, Indiana.8,4

     Alecta Hicks was also known as Electa Bagwell.3 She was born on 19 August 1872 in Greentown, Howard County, Indiana.1,4 She was the daughter of Abraham Hicks and Hannah Farr.4 As of 4 November 1894,her married name was Bagwell. Alecta Hicks married Reverend George Washington Bagwell, son of William Thomas Bagwell and Sarah Privett, on 11 November 1894 at Greentown, Howard County, Indiana.1,2 Alecta Hicks and Daisy May Bagwell lived in 1940 in Kokomo, Howard County, Indiana. Alecta Hicks lived in 1963 in Kokomo, Howard County, Indiana.4 She died on 17 November 1963 at age 91. She was buried at Albright Cemetery, Howard County, Indiana.4,5
