     Afton Bagwell was born on 16 September 1912. She was the daughter of Luther Norland Bagwell and Mary Catherine "Katie" Brothers. As of 5 September 1931,her married name was Huffaker. Afton Bagwell married Horace Huffaker on 5 September 1931 at San Luis, Costilla County, Colorado. Afton Bagwell died on 14 March 1998 at age 85. She was buried at New Manassa Cemetery, Manassa, Conejos County, Colorado.

     Horace Huffaker was born on 3 July 1910 in Manassa, Conejos County, Colorado. He married Afton Bagwell, daughter of Luther Norland Bagwell and Mary Catherine "Katie" Brothers, on 5 September 1931 at San Luis, Costilla County, Colorado. Horace Huffaker died on 28 July 1993 in La Jara, Conejos County, Colorado, at age 83. He was buried at New Manassa Cemetery, Manassa, Conejos County, Colorado.

     Verla Bagwell was born on 21 August 1914 in Los Cerritos, Conejos County, Colorado.¹ She was the daughter of Luther Norland Bagwell and Mary Catherine "Katie" Brothers. As of 16 November 1938,her married name was Crowther. Verla Bagwell married Raymond Q. Crowther on 16 November 1938.² Verla Bagwell died on 27 April 2001 in La Jara, Conejos County, Colorado, at age 86.¹ She was buried on 1 May 2001 at Sanford Cemetery, Sanford, Conejos County, Colorado.¹

     Raymond Q. Crowther was born on 8 March 1913 in La Jara, Conejos County, Colorado.¹ He married Verla Bagwell, daughter of Luther Norland Bagwell and Mary Catherine "Katie" Brothers, on 16 November 1938.¹ Raymond Q. Crowther died on 18 March 2004 in Sanford, Conejos County, Colorado, at age 91 Obituary:

Raymond Q. Crowther, 91, died March 18, 2004, at his home in Sanford.
He was born March 8, 1913 in La Jara to Thomas Orson and Minnie Florence Crowther and was a lifelong resident of Romeo and Sanford.
Raymond was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter day Saints. He will be remembered for his many years of loving service to members and friends.
Raymond, along with his wife, served a mission for their church in North Carolina and he has been an active supporter of the church missionary program.
He was a lifelong rancher and farmer who loved hunting, fishing and camping with his brothers, cousins, children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. For many years, Raymond and Verla enjoyed spending winter months in Arizona, visiting with family and working in the Mesa Temple.
Surviving are his five children and spouses, Dana Raye Poulson and husband Robert of Albuquerque, N.M., Thomas Norlan Crowther and wife LuAnn, of Sandy, Utah, Marlene Crowther and husband Mark, of Sanford, Loreen Simpson and husband Ron, Sanford, Keith Crowther and wife Lorrie, Sanford; his brothers and sisters, Vera Rogers of Sanford, Carol Shawcroft of La Jara, Edith Woodward of Alamosa, Jesse and Helen Crowther of Sanford, Evan and Wilma Crowther of Grantsville, Utah; sisters-in-law, Leona Crowther of Sanford and Verena Eyre of Salt Lake City; 18 grandchildren, 28 great-grandchildren: numerous nieces, nephews and extended family members.
His wife, Verla; his parents; sisters, Aletha and Minnie Ellen; and brothers, William Orson, James and Edward preceded him in death.
Funeral services will be at 11 a.m., Monday, March 22, in the Sanford First Ward Chapel of the Church of Jesus Christ of the Latter Day Saints.¹

He was buried on 22 March 2004 at Sanford Cemetery, Sanford, Conejos County, Colorado.¹

     LaVere Norland Bagwell was born on 29 December 1916 in Los Cerritos, Conejos County, Colorado.^1,2 He was the son of Luther Norland Bagwell and Mary Catherine "Katie" Brothers. LaVere Norland Bagwell married Mary Dola White on 24 December 1936.³ LaVere Norland Bagwell died on 15 September 1991 in Manassa, Conejos County, Colorado, at age 74.^1,2 He was buried at New Manassa Cemetery, Manassa, Conejos County, Colorado.²

     Mary Dola White was born on 17 September 1917. As of 24 December 1936,her married name was Bagwell. She married LaVere Norland Bagwell, son of Luther Norland Bagwell and Mary Catherine "Katie" Brothers, on 24 December 1936.¹ Mary Dola White died on 29 March 2016 in Manassa, Conejos County, Colorado, at age 98

Mary Dola White Bagwell, “Dola,” aged 98, passed away peacefully on March 29, 2016 of causes incident to age. Dola was born on September 17, 1917 in Sanford, Colorado, the ninth and youngest child of John Crabtree White and Nancy Elnora Taylor White. Dola grew up attending school in Sanford and living on the family ranch in Bountiful. At age eight, she nearly died after a long illness with rheumatic fever and polio.

Dola married LaVere Norland Bagwell on December 24, 1936 in Taos, New Mexico and their marriage was sealed for all time and eternity in the Salt Lake Temple of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. To this union was born five children, BoJean, Robert La Vere, Nancy Catherin, Blane Norland and Beverly, Dola and LaVere raised their family in Manassa. They served faithfully in the church, including fulfilling missions in Peru and Argentina. Dola was always fun to visit with as she had a great memory and quick wit. She loved her family, reading, and keeping a beautiful yard. Her last years were spent in the San Luis Care Center and her family expresses their heart-felt appreciation to all the good people there.

Dola was preceded in death by her husband; parents; siblings; beloved in-laws Luther and Katie Bagwell; sister-in-law and dear friend, Ruth Bagwell; her grandson Scott Sellers; great-grandson Michael Sellers; and her daughter Beverly.

She is survived by her children Robert and Nellie May Bagwell, BoJean and Jim Sellers, Nancy and Robert Gray, Blaine and Roberta Bagwell and son-in-law Joe Spencer. She is also survived by 29 of her 30 grandchildren and their spouses; 87 great-grandchildren and eight great-great grandchildren.

A Visitation will be held from 6:00-8:00 pm Thursday, March 31, 2016 at the Rogers Family Mortuary in Manassa and Friday, April 1, 2016 from 10:00-10:45 am in the Primary Room at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in Manassa. A Funeral Service will be held 11:00 am Friday, April 1, 2016 also at the Manassa Stake Center of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. Interment will follow services in the Manassa Cemetery. Contributions have been requested to go to the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints General Missionary Fund.

     Thora Bagwell was born on 1 June 1922 in Manassa, Conejos County, Colorado.^1,2 She was the daughter of Luther Norland Bagwell and Mary Catherine "Katie" Brothers.¹ As of 24 April 1940,her married name was Sellers.¹ Thora Bagwell married Vernon Sellers on 24 April 1940.¹ Thora Bagwell and an unknown person were divorced before 1951.¹ As of 26 May 1951,her married name was Goimarac.¹ She married Emil Goimarac on 26 May 1951.¹ Thora Bagwell was buried at Phoenix Memorial Park and Mortuary, Phoenix, Maricopa County, Arizona.      Coral Bagwell is the daughter of Luther Norland Bagwell and Mary Catherine "Katie" Brothers.¹ Coral Bagwell married Revell Sowards on 7 June 1945.¹

She married James Wiley Bagwell, son of John Wesley Bagwell and Nancy Jane Isham, on 12 November 1868 at Gordon County, Georgia. Caroline Matilda Addeline Burns died on 22 March 1926 in Bradshaw, Taylor County, Texas, at age 78.¹ She was buried at Bradshaw Cemetery, Bradshaw, Taylor County, Texas.¹
