at 2 o'clock Wednesday afternoon.

     Harold Demoine Bagwell was born on 24 March 1919 in Logansport, Cass County, Indiana.1 He was the son of Charles A. Bagwell and Grace McCloud. Harold Demoine Bagwell married Dorothy Jane Kiser before 1939. Enlisted in the US. Army. Harold Demoine Bagwell married Mary G. Gunion on 27 February 1969. Graveside services for Harold D. Bagwell, 86, of Logansport, will be held at 2 p.m. Tuesday in Riverview IOOF Cemetery in Monticello. The funeral procession will leave from Kroeger Funeral Home at 1:15 p.m.

He died at 11:26 p.m. Friday, Sept. 30, 2005 in Chase Center.

Born March 24, 1919, in Logansport, he was the son of Charles and Grace McCloud Bagwell. He was married Feb. 27, 1969, to Mary Gunion Barnett, who survives.

Mr. Bagwell retired in 1995 as proprietor of Bagwell's Auction and Furniture in downtown Logansport. He also had previously owned and operated the Bagwell Upholstery Shop on Fifth Street, which his father had operated before him.

He was a U.S. Army Air Corps veteran, having served in the South Pacific during World War II.

Harold enjoyed yard work, walking his dog and being with his family.

Also surviving are two stepsons and their wives, Edward Lee and Jennifer Barnett, Bloomington, and Jack and Phyllis Barnett, Peru; two stepdaughters and their husbands, Caroly and Jack Samuels, Lake Cicott, and Sandra and Art Freed, Dade City, Fla; 18 stepgrandchildren; and 24 step great-grandchildren.

One daughter, Dixie Bagwell, two brothers, and two sisters preceded in death.1
He was buried at IOOF Riverview Cemetery, Monticello, White County, Indiana.

June 5, 1953 in Fulton County. He died Nov. 7, 1992. Mrs. Miller was a retired grocery store clerk and a member of United Methodist Church. Fletchers Lake. She enjoyed spending time with her family.
Survivors include one son. Mike SHULER, Laporte: two grandchildren: two great-grandchildren: one brother, Harold BAGWELL, Logansport.
She was preceded in death by one sister and two brothers.
Services are at 11 a.m. Wednesday at Harrison-Metzger Kewanna Chapel with the Rev. David SOMMERS officiating. Burial will be in Royal Center Cemetery. Friends may call from 4-8 p.m. today and
after 8 a.m. to the time of services on Wednesday at the funeral home. Memorials may be made to John
Glenn High School, Walkerton.
She was buried at Royal Centre Cemetery, Royal Center, Cass County, Indiana.

Ruza Ronchevic1,2

     Ruza Ronchevic also went by the name of Rose. She was born on 28 December 1921 in Vratnik, Yugoslavia.1 She was Roman Catholic and actually baptized Rosa Ronchevic. Evidently, she did not like being called Rosa and wanted to be called Ruza which means rose.2 Ruza was deported to Auschwicz, Germany (Concentration Camp) in February 1943. Although she was Catholic, she was also slavic and was picked-up during curfew to provide free slave labor to support the German war effort. Ruza was tattooed 24,599 and assigned to Birkenau which was the site of the crematoriums. Rather than return to Yugoslavia she remained in Nuremberg at a displaced persons camp.1,2 She married Lester Leroy Bagwell, son of Parker Scott Bagwell and Hazel Dell Layden, in 1948 at Nurnberg, Bavaria, Germany. General Abrams allowed Lester to marry Ruza because he was a decorated war hero.1,2 As of 1948,her married name was Bagwell. Came to the United States.1 Became a US citizen.1 Ruza Ronchevic died on 18 February 2007 in Eastampton, Burlington County, New Jersey, at age 85.1 She was buried at Arlington National Cemetery, Arlington, Arlington County, Virginia.1
