Gray Court - James Furman Bagwell passed away Thursday, August 2, 2018 at St. Francis Hospital in Greenville, SC. He was 65.

James was retired from Laurens Ball Glass company. He was an active member of Beaverdam Baptist Church. In James's free time, you would find him traveling with his wife Wanda to Gatlinburg, TN or in the stands at a NHRA race which he thoroughly enjoyed.

James is survived by his loving wife Wanda Bagwell of Gray Court, SC, One son, Brandon Bagwell (Rebecca) of Winter Haven, FL. One daughter Keshia Evans (Kevin) of Joanna, SC. One sister, Mary Jo Parker (Terry) of Waterloo, SC. Two brothers, David Bagwell (Teena) of Clinton, SC, Terry Blackwell (Pattie) of Reidville, SC. James had seven grandchildren and three great grandchildren that he loved spending time with. He was a wonderful Papa.

James is preceded in death by his mother & father Ruby & Furman Bagwell. Two brothers Cecil & William Bagwell.

Beaverdam Baptist Church, 1555 Beaverdam Church Rd., Mountville, SC 29370, (864) 682-2511, Tuesday, August 7, 2018. Service is at 2pm. Pastor Phil Bryson & Pastor Monty Osborne will be officiating. Beaverdam Baptist Church will be providing a meal for the family at 12pm.
