William H Bagwell was born on September 2, 1862 in Georgia, the son of William Bagwell and Martha (Blackstock) Bagwell.

He was married to Jippa Jane Wingo (1868-1944), the daughter of C H Wingo and Sarah A (Wilson) Wingo.

A grocer living at 2301 Buchanan Street, Nashville, he was 74 years old and married when he died on March 7, 1937 at home of a pulmonary hemorrhage caused by TB. Burial was the next day in Spring Hill Cemetery.

Jippa Jane (Wingo) Bagwell was born on June 14, 1868 in Hall County, Georgia, the daughter of Calvin Hudson Wingo (1837–1909) and his wife Sarah A (Wilson) Wingo (ca 1837– ).

She was married about 1887 to William Henry Bagwell (1862-1937), and he was the son of William Bagwell (1835–1878) and Martha E A (Blackstock) Bagwell (1841–1908).

Living at 2301 Buchanon Street, Nashville, she was 76 years old and a widow when she died on December 5, 1944 of an intestinal obstruction at Nashville Protestant Hospital. Burial was two days later in Spring Hill Cemetery in Madison [city, not county].
