William Shannon "Shan" Bagwell, 36, of Hattiesburg, died on November 30, 2010, in Austin, Texas. Visitation was held at 2 p.m. Sunday, December 5, 2010, at Moore Funeral Home in Hattiesburg followed by memorial services at 3 p.m.

Shan was a student at Austin Presbyterian Theological Seminary.

He is survived by his parents, Billy and Betty Bagwell of Hattiesburg; one sister, Rebecca Bagwell of Asheville, North Carolina; paternal grandmother, Hazel Bagwell of Ackerman; an aunt, Mary Joyce Moore (Bill) of D'Iberville; and a host of family and friends from California to North Carolina.


He was preceded in death by an infant sister, Ann Elizabeth Bagwell; his maternal grandparents, Tem and Willie Belle Bond of Wiggins; his paternal grandfather, William H. Bagwell of Ackerman; and an aunt, Patricia Bagwell McIntire of Ackerman.

She was buried on 4 March 2013 at Bellwood Cemetery, Adams, Robertson County, Tennessee.
