     Elinor (Ella) Keen was born on 22 April 1856 in Iowa.¹ As of 7 June 1891,her married name was Bagwell. She married Theopolis Adolphus Bagwell, son of Beverly Bagwell and Orlena Mills, on 7 June 1891 at Clay County, Texas. Elinor (Ella) Keen died on 11 November 1910 at age 54.¹ She was buried at Hope Cemetery, Henrietta, Clay County, Texas.¹

     Willie Edward Bagwell was born on 29 July 1894 in Henrietta, Clay County, Texas.¹ He was the son of Theopolis Adolphus Bagwell and Elinor (Ella) Keen. He served as a Hospital Apprentice, 1st Class (HA1) in the US Navy during World War1. Willie Edward Bagwell died on 11 September 1954 in VA Hospital, Dallas, Texas, at age 60 of massive gastro-intestinal hemorrahage due to the rupture of the aorta, due to carminoma of the esophagus.¹ He was buried at Hope Cemetery, Henrietta, Clay County, Texas.¹

     Theo Leona Bagwell was born on 23 October 1892 in Texas.¹ She was the daughter of Theopolis Adolphus Bagwell and Elinor (Ella) Keen. As of 6 June 1912,her married name was Saterfield. Theo Leona Bagwell married Henry Hallander Saterfield on 6 June 1912. Theo Leona Bagwell died on 15 July 1966 in Gainesville Memorial Hospital, Gainesville, Cooke County, Texas, at age 73 of generalized metatastic carconoma of the stomach.




She was a school teacher.¹

Bagwell and Clara Novabell Black, on 27 November 1947 at Minneapolis, Hennepin County, Minnesota. Fern E. Swanson and Paul Eugene Bagwell were divorced in 1974. Fern E. Swanson married Robert Strassburg on 30 March 1990 at Las Vegas, Nevada. Fern E. Swanson died on 26 April 2009 in Herrin, Illinois, at age 81. She was cremated.

     Robert Strassburg married Fern E. Swanson on 30 March 1990 at Las Vegas, Nevada.

     Dale Pepple Huff was born on 4 June 1924 in Markham City, Jefferson County, Illinois. He married Beverly Jeanette Bagwell, daughter of Ernest C. Bagwell and Clara Novabell Black, after 1949. Dale Pepple Huff and Beverly Jeanette Bagwell lived in 1995 in Yuma, Arizona. Dale Pepple Huff died on 19 June 2014 in Bluford, Jefferson County, Illinois, at age 90


Dale Pepple Huff passed away at 9:19 p.m. at his home in Bluford, Illinois, on Wednesday, June 19, 2014 at the age of 90. He was born June 4, 1924 in Markham City, Illinois, a son to the late Arthur E. & Vera P. (Pepple) Huff.

After graduating from Webber Township High School in 1938, he attended McKendree and Oakland City College where he received his Bachelor of Arts Degree. Dale joined the Army in 1943 where he proudly served in the Engineers Division, Company B, and 6th Battalion during World War II. His tour of duty took him to the Pacific Southwest New Guinea where he earned a Bronze Battle Star, four overseas service bars, and a Victory medal before being honorably discharged as a Tech 5 in 1945. He later obtained a Master's Degree in Education from Milliken University. His professional career encompassed many facets in the education field before his retirement in 1979; teaching, coaching basketball and track and field, as well as Principal and Superintendent throughout the state of Illinois.

Dale and Beverly June (Bagwell) were married on his birthday in 1947 at the First Methodist Church in Carterville, Illinois. He is survived by his wife of 67 years, Beverly, of Bluford, IL; six children, Theresa Hudson of Bluford, IL; Beverly Low and late husband (Charles) of Smyrna, TN; Marti Champion (Ron) of White Cloud, MI; Margaret Anne Shaw (Mike) of Clearfield, UT; Melinda Grierson and late husband (Dave) of Kirkland, WA; and D. Stan Huff (Sandra) of Yuma, AZ; as well as several grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great grandchildren. His parents: Arthur E. & Vera P. (Pepple) Huff and his in-laws: Ernest C. & Clara (Black) Bagwell preceded him in death.

Visitation will be held from Noon until Service Time 2:00 P.M. Sunday, June 22, 2014 at Hughey Funeral Home in Mt. Vernon, IL with the funeral immediately following visitation, with Chaplain Ernie Collins officiating. Burial with Full Military Honors conducted by members of Mount Vernon American Legion Post #141 will be at the East Hickory Hill Cemetery in Bluford, IL.

     Marian Amelia Peterson was born on 3 October 1930 in Farmington, Dakota County, Minnesota. As of after 1946,her married name was Bagwell. She married Ernest Bagwell Jr., son of Ernest C. Bagwell and Clara Novabell Black, after 1946. Marian Amelia Peterson died on 29 July 2023 in Douglasville, Douglas County, Georgia, at age 92. She was buried on 2 August 2023 at Holly Hill Memorial Park, Fairburn, Georgia.

     Brian Joseph Bagwell is the son of Dennis Dwyte Bagwell and Patricia M. Quinn. Brian Joseph Bagwell married Mary Jean Lauzon circa 2005.
