     Doris Simpson was born on 5 March 1929 in Lauren County, South Carolina. As of 16 March 1946,her married name was Bagwell. She married John Thomas Bagwell, son of John R. Beaman Bagwell and Allie Bishop, on 16 March 1946 at Greenwood, Greenwood County, South Carolina. Doris Simpson died on 20 June 1992 at age 63. She was buried on 22 June 1992 at Dials Cemetery, Gray Court, Lauren County, South Carolina.

     Richard Michael Bagwell was born on 3 February 1947. He was the son of John Thomas Bagwell and Doris Simpson. He served in the US Army during the Vietnam War. Richard Michael Bagwell died on 3 October 2009 at age 62. He was buried at Dials Cemetery, Gray Court, Lauren County, South Carolina.

     Linda Diane Bagwell was born on 21 November 1953 in Laurens, Laurens County, South Carolina. She was the daughter of John Thomas Bagwell and Doris Simpson. As of 8 March 1974,her married name was Heaton. Linda Diane Bagwell married Timothy Heaton on 8 March 1974. Linda Diane Bagwell died on 30 April 2003 at age 49


Linda B. Heaton, age 49, of 1597 Sandy Springs Road, died Wednesday, April 30, at her home.

She was born in Laurens County, and was a daughter of the late John Thomas and Doris Simpson Bagwell.

Mrs. Heaton was employed with Teknor Apex Carolina in Fountain Inn. She was an active member of First Responders for Sandy Springs Fire Department (and served on their Board of Directors), and was a member of Northside Baptist Church.

Surviving are her husband, Tim Heaton, of the home; two daughters, Susan Heaton Hurley and Tina D. Heaton, both of Laurens; and three grandchildren, Brittany and Morgan Hurley, and Amber Heaton, all of Laurens.

Funeral services will be conducted Saturday, May 3, at 3 p.m. at Northside Baptist Church, with burial at Sandy Springs United Methodist Church Cemetery.

The family will receive friends this evening from 7 to 9 p.m. at Northside Baptist Church.

     Benjamin F. Harvey was born on 30 April 1926 in Laurens County, South Carolina. He married Doris Bagwell, daughter of John R. Beaman Bagwell and Allie Bishop, after 1940. Benjamin F. Harvey died on 29 January 2008 in Clinton, Laurens County, South Carolina, at age 81. He was buried at Rosemont Cemetery, Clinton, Laurens County, South Carolina.

     Jeanne Annette Watson married Palmer Lee Bagwell Jr., son of Master Sergeant Palmer Lee Bagwell and Dorothy Lillian Correa, on 8 July 1961.

     Patricia Ann Bagwell was born circa 1935 in Georgia. She was the daughter of George Morgan Bagwell and Laura Belle Moon. As of after 1954,her married name was Jones. Patricia Ann Bagwell married (?) Jones after 1954. Patricia Ann Bagwell died on 11 December 1993 in Dekalb County, Georgia.

     Georgia Belle Bagwell was born on 20 April 1924 in Atlanta, Fulton County, Georgia. She was the daughter of George Morgan Bagwell and Laura Belle Moon. As of before 1950,her married name was Jetton. Georgia Belle Bagwell married William Torrance Jetton Jr. before 1950. As of after 1950,her married name was Crabb. Georgia Belle Bagwell married Olin LeRoy Crabb after 1950. Georgia Belle Bagwell was buried at Eternal Hills Cemetery, Snellville, Gwinnett County, Georgia. She died on 24 September 1987 in Atlanta, Fulton County, Georgia, at age 63.

     Olin LeRoy Crabb was born on 25 October 1914 in Florida. He married Marguerute Ward Roddey on 11 October 1937 at Atlanta, Georgia. He enlisted in the US Army on 29 June 1942 during World War II. Olin LeRoy Crabb married Georgia Belle Bagwell, daughter of George Morgan Bagwell and Laura Belle Moon, after 1950. Olin LeRoy Crabb died on 28 November 1978 in Pasco County, Florida, at age 64.

     Marguerute Ward Roddey was born on 10 March 1916 in Georgia. As of 11 October 1937,her married name was Crabb. She married Olin LeRoy Crabb on 11 October 1937 at Atlanta, Georgia. Marguerute Ward Roddey died on 15 August 1964 in Fulton County, Georgia, at age 48.

     Laura Belle Moon was born on 6 April 1905 in Greenville County, South Carolina. As of 25 March 1923,her married name was Bagwell. She married George Morgan Bagwell, son of Richard Ferman Bagwell and Mary Elizabeth Barnett, on 25 March 1923 at Immanuel Baptist Church, Atlanta, Georgia. Laura Belle Moon died on 11 April 1990 in Orange County, Florida, at age 85.

     William Torrance Jetton Jr. was born on 30 December 1922 in Georgia. He was a SMSGT in the US Air Force and served in World War II, Korea, and Vietnam. He married Georgia Belle Bagwell, daughter of George Morgan Bagwell and Laura Belle Moon, before 1950. William Torrance Jetton Jr. died on 30 November 1994 at age 71. He was buried at Barrancas National Cemetery, Pensacola, Escambia County, Florida.

     Dora Frances Hutchinson was also known as Peggy Hutchins. She was born on 12 May 1923 in Georgia.¹ As of circa 1946,her married name was Bagwell. She married Herschel Milton Bagwell, son of Joseph Madison Bagwell and Lola Lee Barber, circa 1946. Dora Frances Hutchinson died on 4 June 1976 in DeKalb County, Georgia, at age 53.¹ She was buried on 5 June 1976 at Resthaven Cemetery, Decatur, DeKalb County, Georgia.¹
