     Lewis Herman Bagwell was born on 27 April 1925 in Laurens County, South Carolina. He was the son of John Olen Bagwell and Bertha Lee Jones. Lewis Herman Bagwell married Hellon Harris circa 1948. Lewis Herman Bagwell died on 19 December 2010 in Rutherfordton, Rutherford County, North Carolina, at age 85


Lewis Herman Bagwell, age 85 of Oakridge Drive, Forest City, North Carolina died Sunday, December 19, 2010 at Rutherford Hospital. He was a native of Laurens County, South Carolina and a son of the late John Olen and Bertha Jones Bagwell; a graduate of R-S Central High School, Class of 1943 and retired from Spindale Mills Corporation in the Dye House with 30 years' service. He was also a United States Army Veteran during World War II and a member of Missionary Wesleyan Church of Forest City where he formerly worked with the church youth groups.

Survivors include his wife of 62 years, Helen Harris Bagwell of the home, a son, Von Bagwell and his wife Trudy of Mount Holly, NC, a brother, John Bagwell and his wife Hazel of Forest City, NC and a grandson, Eric Bagwell and his wife Summer of Mt. Holly, NC , and great-grandchildren, Kali Bagwell and Zack Hughes.

Funeral services will be held at eleven o'clock Tuesday, December 21, 2010 in the Missionary Wesleyan Church with Reverend Steve Beam and Reverend Wayne Toney officiating. Interment will follow in the Cool Springs Cemetery with military honors accorded by the Rutherford County Honor Guard. Visitation will be held from six until eight o'clock Monday evening at The Padgett and King Mortuary.


He was buried on 21 December 2010 at Cool Springs Cemetery, Forest City, Rutherford County, North Carolina.

     Michael Dennis Sink married Catherine Ball Ryals, daughter of Richard Ryals and Anne Elizabeth Ball, on 26 October 2002 at Saint Peter's Catholic Church, Montgomery, Montgomery County, Alabama. Michael Dennis Sink and Catherine Ball Ryals were divorced before 2019.

     Major Shawn David Ford married Amy Elizabeth Ryals, daughter of Richard Ryals and Anne Elizabeth Ball, on 25 October 2003 at Huntington College Chapel, Montgomery, Montgomery County, Alabama.

     Michelle Goff is the daughter of William L. Goff and Carolee Janet Seibel. Michelle Goff married Paul Miller after 1976.

     Aaron B. Scutt was born in 1842. He married Sarah Elizabeth Goff, daughter of Robert Goff and Anna Elizabeth Carrier, on 15 March 1898 at Dunham County, New York. Aaron B. Scutt died in 1906. He was buried at Town of Catskill Cemetery, Catskill, Greene County, New York.

     Elizabeth A. Goff was born circa 1867 in New York. She was the daughter of Robert Goff and Anna Elizabeth Carrier.

     Robert B. Goff was born in February 1869 in New York. He was the son of Robert Goff and Anna Elizabeth Carrier. Robert B. Goff died on 26 October 1942 in Seattle, King County, Washington, at age 73.

     Anna Goff was born in January 1872 in New York. She was the daughter of Robert Goff and Anna Elizabeth Carrier.

     Harriett "Hattie" Goff was born circa 874 in New York. She was the daughter of Robert Goff and Anna Elizabeth Carrier. As of 29 March 1905,her married name was Harriman. Harriett "Hattie" Goff married Irving L. Harriman on 29 March 1905 at Holyoke County, Massachusetts.

     Newell Darius Goff was born on 22 January 1877 in New York. He was the son of Robert Goff and Anna Elizabeth Carrier. Newell Darius Goff married Eva Agnes Crane on 8 September 1917 at Auburn, Maine. Newell Darius Goff died in 1933. He was buried at Swan Point Cemetery, Providence, Providence County, Rhode Island.
