     William L. Goff was born on 7 January 1937 in Akron, Summit County, Ohio. He was the son of Ersel David Goff and Ora Lucinda Barker. William L. Goff married Carolee Janet Seibel in 1956. William L. Goff died on 14 November 2016 in Akron, Summit County, Ohio, at age 79


William L. Goff, 79, passed away on November 14, 2016. He was born January 7, 1937 in Akron, Ohio to Ersel and Ora Goff, Sr.

He worked for Goodyear Tire & Rubber as Mill Worker retiring in 1983. He was a ham radio operator "Big Red", an avid coin collector, and worked with the children's softball league in New Franklin.

William was preceded in death by his parents; and wife of 54 years, Carolee Goff.

He is survived by his daughters and their husbands, Michelle and Paul Miller, Desirea and Jeff Gadel; grandchildren, Ashley and Jim Cole, Paul and Jennifer Miller Jr., and Amanda and James Crabtree; baby brother, Donald and Pat Goff of Oregon; sister, Gladys Miller of Wyoming; and 9 great grandchildren.

Friends may call at Bacher Funeral Home 3326 Manchester Rd. on Thursday, November 17, 2016 from 4:30 to 7 p.m., with a Celebration of Life Service at 6:30 p.m., Pastor Jim Cole officiating.
