Judy Lynn Stevenson died on 19 February 2024 in Anderson, Anderson County, South Carolina, at age 66


Judy Lynn Bagwell, a dedicated educator and beloved Sunshine House of Powdersville community member for 10 years, passed away in Anderson, SC. She was born in Seneca, SC, in 1958. Judy's commitment to nurturing young minds as the two-year-old teacher at Sunshine House left a lasting impact on all who knew her.

Her simple, loving, and kind nature radiated through her every action. Judy was described as generous, thoughtful, selfless, gentle, and passionate in everything she did. Her warmth and caring personality created a welcoming environment for both children and colleagues alike.

Outside of her career, Judy enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren. She cherished every moment with them and considered family the most important aspect of her life. Alongside her dedication to her family, Judy also found happiness in working and being around her daycare family. Her love for children extended beyond the classroom walls.

In her leisure time, Judy enjoyed shopping at the Goodwill, where she found hidden treasures and delighted in the thrill of a good bargain. Her hobbies reflected her appreciation for simplicity and finding joy in life's small pleasures.

Judy Lynn Bagwell is preceded in death by her husband Robbie Bagwell, parents Donny and Linda Stevenson, father-in-law Robert Bagwell, and brother Donny Ray Stevenson. She is survived by her son Josh (Mikayla) Bagwell; grandchildren Langston Bagwell, Katie Roper, and AJ Roper; mother-in-law Linda Bagwell; sister-in-laws Pam Leaphart, Cidy Miller, and Kim Hunt; and brother-in-law Randy Bagwell.

Her memory will live on through the lives she touched with her kindness and unwavering love. Judy's legacy as a devoted educator and a compassionate soul will forever be cherished by those who had the privilege of knowing her. May she rest in peace.

     Elizabeth Bagwell is the daughter of Harold Glenn Bagwell and Anna Lou Hobby. Elizabeth Bagwell married Greg Cole after 1982.

     Harold Glenn Bagwell Jr. is the son of Harold Glenn Bagwell and Anna Lou Hobby. Harold Glenn Bagwell Jr. married Cindy (?) after 1982.

     Roland T. Goff was born on 20 May 1877 in Raccoon, Pike County, Kentucky. He was the son of John W. Goff and Martha Jane Ball. Roland T. Goff married Maggie Justice (?) in 1896. Roland T. Goff married Macie Carter in 1937. Roland T. Goff died on 25 November 1962 in Raccoon, Pike County, Kentucky, at age 85. He was buried at Goff Family Cemetery, Pike County, Kentucky.

     Maggie Justice (?) was born on 10 September 1878. As of 1896,her married name was Goff. She married Roland T. Goff, son of John W. Goff and Martha Jane Ball, in 1896. Maggie Justice (?) died on 26 December 1934 in Raccoon, Pike County, Kentucky, at age 56. She was buried at Goff Family Cemetery, Pike County, Kentucky.
