Donald T. Bagwell, 88, of Bloomington, passed away at 12:45 p.m. Saturday (April 16, 2016) at his home.

Donald T. "Bags" Bagwell was born from the union of Donald Bagwell and Mable Dee Johnson.

His sisters and brother (all deceased) were Genevieve, Alice Ella, Julia Ann, May Bell, Louise and Margaret Bagwell and Vernon and Grace Huddleston.

His surviving nephews and nieces include Taylor Cisco Jr., David Cisco, Ernest Toplyn, Michael Toplyn, Valerie Bell and Larry Bell.

Donald moved to Wood Hill Towers in Bloomington for the last eight months of his life, a short distance from his childhood home and his longtime residence.

Donald served in the U.S. Army from 1950 to 1952 and attended Illinois State University upon his discharge. Donald was employed at Model Window Cleaners, Paxton’s Office Supplies, the former Illinois House and other businesses until his retirement.
