     Larry Wendell Todd was born on 27 September 1948 in Windsor, North Carolina.^1,2 He married Linda Rose Bagwell, daughter of Rufus Collins Bagwell and Mary Louise Martino, on 15 December 1969 at Portsmouth, Virginia.¹ He was a Sergent in the US Army and served during the Vietnam war.² Larry Wendell Todd died on 29 December 1985 in Portsmouth, Virginia, at age 37 in an automobile accident.^1,2 He was buried at Greenlawn Memorial Gardens, Chesapeake City, Chesapeake City County, Virginia.²

     Betty Jane Bagwell was also known as Elizabeth Elmira Bagwell. She was born on 3 August 1881 in Tazewell, Clairborne County, Tennessee.¹ She was the daughter of Drury Richard Bagwell and Amanda Frances Todd.¹ Betty Jane Bagwell married Samuel A. Lawson after 1895. Betty Jane Bagwell died on 4 May 1936 in Putnam County, Tennessee, at age 54.¹ She was buried at Whittaker Cemetery, Monterey, Putnam County, Tennessee.

     William Hyder Bagwell was born on 9 January 1879 in Cumberland County, Tennessee.¹ He was the son of Drury Richard Bagwell and Amanda Frances Todd.¹ William Hyder Bagwell married Maude Vera Looper, daughter of Dr. Graham Looper and Dora Belle West, on 23 November 1904 at Putnam County, Tennessee.^1,2 William Hyder Bagwell and Maude Vera Looper lived in 1920 in Monterey, Putnam County, Tennessee. William Hyder Bagwell died on 16 January 1943 in Monterey, Putnam County, Tennessee, at age 64.¹ He was buried at Whittaker Cemetery, Monterey, Putnam County, Tennessee.

     JoMimia Ann Bagwell was also known as Jemima Ann Bagwell. JoMimia Ann Bagwell died on 16 November 1981 in Monterey, Putnam County, Tennessee, at age 97. She was buried at Whittaker Cemetery, Monterey, Putnam County, Tennessee.

     Archibald Jackson Bagwell was born on 28 June 1886 in Fentress, Tennessee.^1,2 He was the son of Drury Richard Bagwell and Amanda Frances Todd.¹ Archibald Jackson Bagwell married Mary Jane Morgan on 15 July 1906 at Putnam County, Tennessee. Archibald Jackson Bagwell died on 4 November 1946 in Knoxville, Knox County, Tennessee, at age 60.² He was buried at Lynnhurst Cemetery, Knoxville, Knox County, Tennessee.²

Flynn on 22 September 1838 at Rutherford County, North Carolina. Catherine H. Bagwell died on 14 February 1904 in Rutherford, North Carolina, at age 89


Death has again visited our settlement and taken away one of our best neighbors and kind friend, and a devoted wife and mother.

Sister Catharine Flynn, wife of Mr. William Flynn departed this life February 14, 1904. She was 89 years of age, and was the mother of 14 children, of which 12 are living. She has about one hundred grand-children and 40 great- grandchildren. She lived a devoted member of the Baptist church at Bill's Creek for 65 years.

For the past two years she has been a great sufferer and was anxious to depart this life and go to rest with God. She often asked her friends to pray for her to die and go to rest. Many friends mourn her loss, but our loss is her eternal gain. Like the dove to the ark, her spirit was flown to a sweet land of rest.
