     James Edgar "Ed" Jinright was born on 13 July 1907. He was the son of John William Jinright and Emma Jane Head. James Edgar "Ed" Jinright married Ruby M. Harris after 1925. James Edgar "Ed" Jinright married Lee Estelle “Pat” Russell before 1957. James Edgar "Ed" Jinright died on 19 February 1993 in Jacksonville, Duval County, Florida, at age 85.

     Ruby M. Harris was born on 2 March 1907 in Georgia. As of after 1925,her married name was Jinright. J.J. Currie (Jonathan), 60, a native resident of Jacksonville, passed away peacefully surrounded by family on December 30, 2015 after a brief illness and hospitalization.

JJ's life was filled with love of family and his career as a media sales account executive. He was born in Jacksonville on July 6th 1955 and graduated from Englewood High School in 1973 and Florida Southern College with a BA degree in 1978. He worked for 35 years as a leading TV sales executive most recently with WFOX and previously with WJXT. He got his start in media sales at Clay Today before moving briefly to radio and then beginning his extended career in television advertising sales. He was well known by everyone in his hometown. JJ volunteered his spare time with many local organizations but his favorite was Builders Care.

He is survived by 3 children Josh, Chris and Amee; brothers Michael (Jan), Brian (Bonnie) and Susan Currie. Also surviving are 10 grandchildren, 2 great grandchildren, and other extended family members including cousins, nieces and nephews and many dear friends and business associates. His wife and soul mate of 32 years, Roxanne, predeceased him in 2013.

A Celebration of Life memorial service will be held at eleven o' clock in the morning on Tuesday, January 5, 2016, at Lakewood United Methodist Church - 6133 San Jose Blvd, Jacksonville, FL 32217. The family requests that those attending the service wear cheerful and colorful clothing. Family will receive friends on Monday, January 4, 2016 from five until seven o' clock in the evening at Hardage-Giddens, The Oaklawn Chapel, 4801 San Jose Blvd., Jacksonville, FL. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Builders Care.

     Jacquelyn Jinright was born on 13 January 1929. She was the daughter of James Edgar "Ed" Jinright and Ruby M. Harris. As of after 1946,her married name was Parmeter. Jacquelyn Jinright married Kenneth Lamar Parmeter after 1946. Jacquelyn Jinright died on 1 April 2018 in Jacksonville, Duval County, Florida, at age 89
Jacquelyn Jinright Parmenter was born January 13, 1929 to James and Ruby Harris Jinright and departed April 1, 2018.

She is predeceased by her parents her brother and a half sister. She is survived by her only son James and his wife Anglia, Half sister’s Jennie and Debbie.

Grandchildren Susan ( Harry ) Moseley, Jason ( Shannon ), Michael ( Nancy ), James D. (Amanda) Parmenter. Great grandchildren Brittany, Ryan, Lane, Chase, Gage, Eliza and James Owen.

The family wishes to thank her caregivers Michael her grandson, Nancy and Martha for their care. Also thanks to Community Hospice of NE FL for there dedication and care.

Mrs Parmenter loved animals and sports.

Graveside service will be 11:30 AM Thursday April 5th, 2018 in Evergreen Cemetery 4535 Main Street Jacksonville, FL. A visitation will be held one half hour before the graveside service.

     Kenneth Lamar Parmeter was born on 19 March 1930 in Jacksonville, Duval County, Florida. He married Jacquelyn Jinright, daughter of James Edgar "Ed" Jinright and Ruby M. Harris, after 1946. Kenneth Lamar Parmeter died on 16 June 2016 in Jacksonville, Duval County, Florida, at age 86
Kenneth Lamar Parmenter (Red) was born March 19, 1930 to Owen and Geneva Rosier Parmenter and departed June 16, 2016. He was a lifelong resident of Jacksonville.

He is predeceased by his parents and three sisters. He is survived by his son James and his wife Anglia, Jacquelyn Parmenter the mother of his son, granddaughter Susan (Harry) Moseley, grandsons Jason (Shannon), Michael (Nancy), and James D. (Amanda) Parmenter. Great grandchildren Brittany, Ryan, Lane, Chase, Gage, Eliza and James Owen (Due Sept. 9). The family wishes to thank his caretakers Martha, Nancy & grandson Michael for their care. Also thanks to Community Hospice of NE FL and Nurse Linda for her dedication and care.

James Edgar Jinright Jr. passed away April 6, 2012. He was born April 4, 1931 in Thomasville, Georgia. James was in the U.S. Navy from 1948-1951 as an engineer onboard a destroyer. He was an astute businessman and an accomplished jazz musician. James played several times on channel 4 television with the Jimmy Strickland Band. His last business was Cool Shuttle and Limo Service which he recently retired from.

Mr. Jinright is survived by: sons James E. Jinright III (Chickie) of Callahan, FL, John David Jinright of Tennessee, and Jason Jinright of Virginia; grandchildren Sharon T. Allen (Kevin), Jeremy E. Jinright, and Taylor Jinright; great-grandchild Paige Taylor Allen; sisters Jacqueline Jinright Parmenter, Jennifer Jinright Grzeskowiak, Debbie Jinright Luke, and Roxanne Jinright Currie; and many nieces and nephews.

A graveside service will be held Saturday, April 7, 2012 at Jones Cemetery in Callahan, Florida.
