While at Amory High School, Betty played on the basketball team and was a proud member of the Panther Band, where she played the flute and was a rifle girl. After the untimely passing of her first husband, Betty met and married Joseph Bagwell, who helped her find happiness and companionship again. Betty loved nothing more than sitting on the porch and chatting with Joe over a hot cup of coffee while watching their three dogs play.
