Marion Danny Bagwell, 75, husband of Deborah Cobb Bagwell, of West Union, passed away on Sunday, July 5, 2026, at Oconee Memorial Hospital.

A native of Oconee County, SC, Mr. Bagwell was the son of the late Marion Ivy and Lola Mae Shead Bagwell. He retired as a DC Technician from United Rebuilders after 30 years of service. Mr. Bagwell was of the Church of God Faith.

In addition to his wife, Mr. Bagwell is survived by his son: Donnie Grant of Walhalla; sister: Carolyn Collins of West Union; and special nephew: Dwyane Collins (Stacy) of Pickens, SC.

The family will receive friends from 1:00-2:00 PM, Friday, July 10, 2026, at Davenport Funeral Home.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM, Friday, at Davenport Funeral Home with burial to follow at Oconee Memorial Park.

As of 6 December 1958,her married name was Bagwell. Lillie May Mansfield married Marion Robert Bagwell, son of John Marion Bagwell and Tabitha E. Jarmon, on 6 December 1958 at Huntington, Sebastian County, Arkansas. Lillie May Mansfield died on 16 August 1974 at age 89. She was buried at Greenwood Memorial Cemetery, Greenwood, Sebastian County, Arkansas.
