in Washington County, Arkansas, but came to Missouri when a little child. Her age at the time of her death was 70 years, 7 months and six days.

She professed faith in Christ at an early age and was a member of the Free Will Baptist Church at Happy Hill. She was united in marriage to A.L. Bagwell on December 21, 1884, and to this union were born eight children, five girls and three boys. A daugher, Ethel, preceded her in death several years ago. He gave a Scripture reading and the choir sang "Rock of Ages" "When the Roll Is Called Up Yonder" and "Shall We Gather At the River." The casket was covered with flowers. Interment was in the adjoining cemetery.

Gone from this world of sorrow last Wednesday. In the Oalkand Cemetery we laid our mother beneath the clay and the sweetest thoughts shall ever linger around the place where she is laid.

I cannot say, and I will not say that she is dead. She is just away. With a loving smile and a wave of the hand.
She is beckoning us to an unknown land.
