Nellie Romanski died on 28 May 2007 in Shawnee, Johnson County, Kansas, at age 85 Nellie Bagwell, age 85 years old, died peacefully at the Sweet Life of Rose Hill Assisted Living Center in Shawnee, Kansas on May 28, 2007.

She was born November 8, 1921 in Clifton Heights, PA to the late Victor and Catherine Romanski. She graduated from business school in New York, NY.

On May 6, 1944, Nellie married Samuel Woodson Bagwell in Clifton Heights, PA. Nellie traveled with her husband who was in the military.

She worked as a stenographer for the Custom's Department in San Diego, CA. Nellie was very creative and enjoyed gardening, landscaping, sewing, and ceramics.

Nellie is survived by her sons Samuel Bagwell Jr. of Washington State, John of Casa de Oro, California, Robert of Hesperia, California, Susan (Brezina) of Corpus Christi, Texas, Charles of Lake Oswego, Oregon, and Victor of San Diego, California; a brother, Peter Romanski of Springfield, PA; her grandchildren John, Jordon, Justin, Jarrod, Mary (Ellis), April (Brown), Stefanie (Kilcoyne), Brian (Jarke), Richard (Jarke), Nicole (Jarke), Michael (Jarke), Brandon (Jarke), Matthew (Jarke), Victor, and Mary. She is survived by six great grandchildren.

Nellie was preceded in death by her husband, Samuel, parents Victor and Catherine (Potocki) Romanski, brother John, sister Victoria, and grandson, Sean.

Graveside services will be 10:00 a.m. Saturday (June 2) at the Mt. Olive Cemetery with Fr. Thomas Stroot of Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church, officiating. Friends are requested to meet at the cemetery. Burial will follow the services. Friends may call from 1:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Friday to sign the register. Arrangements are under the direction of the Brenner Mortuary, 114 E. 4th St., Pittsburg.
She was buried at Mount Olive Cemetery, Pittsburg, Crawford County, Kansas.

Yong on 2 March 1964 at American Embassy, South Korea. Charles Otto Bagwell died on 26 January 1975 in Presidio Hospital, San Francisco, California, at age 45.

Ancil L. Bagwell, 81, died at his home in Lebanon, Sunday, May 9. Funeral services were at Oakland church Tuesday at 11 a.m.
Burial was in the cemetery there under direction of Stewart's Funeral Home.
Mr. Bagwell moved to Lebanon with his son, Gene Bagwell, from a farm east on highway 32 only a few weeks before his death.
Mr. Bagwell was born in Washington County, Ark., March 31, 1862 but came to Missouri when a small child.
He married Miss Amanda Weaver Dec. 21, 1884, and to them were born eight children. The wife and one daughter, Ethel, preceded him in death.
He leaves three sons, Elmer Bagwell, Miller; Ed Bagwell, Kansas City; Gene Bagwell, Lebanon; and four daughters, Mrs. T.J. Peterson, Dry Nob; Mrs. Wesley Haines, Lebanon; Mrs. Willie Ogle, Lebanon; Mrs. Floyd Peterson, Dry Nob. All attended the funeral except the son at Kansas City. There are 22 grandchildren and nine greatgrandchildren.1
He was buried on 11 May 1943 at Antioch Cemetery, Oakland, Laclede County, Missouri.1

     Amanda Caroline Weaver was born on 18 January 1863 in Washington County, Arkansas.1 As of 21 December 1884,her married name was Bagwell. She married Ancil Littleton Bagwell, son of (?) Bagwell and Rebecca Bush, on 21 December 1884 at Missouri.1 Amanda Caroline Weaver died on 24 August 1932 in Laclede County, Missouri, at age 69
Amanda Caroline Weaver Bagwell died at her home, near Oakland, August 24, 1932, after an illness of five weeks.

She was the only daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Joel Weaver. She was born January 18, 1863 (stone shows 1862?)
in Washington County, Arkansas, but came to Missouri when a little child. Her age at the time of her death was 70 years, 7 months and six days.

She professed faith in Christ at an early age and was a member of the Free Will Baptist Church at Happy Hill. She was united in marriage to A.L. Bagwell on December 21, 1884, and to this union were born eight children, five girls and three boys. A daugher, Ethel, preceded her in death several years ago. She leaves to mourn her death her husband and seven chldren: Mrs. T.J. Peterson, Mrs. Wesley Haines, Mrs. Floyd Peterson, Hazel and Gene Bagwell of Oakland; Ed Bagwell, of Sleeper, Elmer Bagwell, of Dawson, Nebraska, and eighteen grand-children and a host of relatives and friends.

She was a loving mother and wife, and was very patient and kind during her illnes.

Funeral services were held on Thursday, August 25, at Anticoh Church at 3 o'clock, Rev. Mr. Cope officiating. He gave a Scripture reading and the choir sang "Rock of Ages" "When the Roll Is Called Up Yonder" and "Shall We Gather At the River." The casket was covered with flowers. Interment was in the adjoining cemetery.

Gone from this world of sorrow last Wednesday. In the Oalkand Cemetery we laid our mother beneath the clay and the sweetest thoughts shall ever linger around the place where she is laid.

I cannot say, and I will not say that she is dead. She is just away. With a loving smile and a wave of the hand.
She is beckoning us to an unknown land.

Emory Ezekiel Bagwell1

M, b. 22 September 1916, d. 16 August 1966
     Emory Ezekiel Bagwell was born on 22 September 1916 in Georgia.1 He was the son of William A. Bagwell and Emelyn Cook.2 Emory Ezekiel Bagwell married Dora Miram Goode in 1942 at Alachua County, Florida. He enlisted in the Army Air Corp and was a Captian in 301st Fighter Wing during Worl War II. The wing was activated as the 301st Tactical Fighter Wing in late 1944. During the last few months of World War II, the wing’s P-47 pilots saw action escorting B-24, and B-29 bombers and making dive bombing and strafing attacks on shipping and communications lines in the Far East. Emory Ezekiel Bagwell died on 16 August 1966 in Alachua County, Florida, at age 49.1 He was buried at High Springs Cemetery, High Springs, Alachua County, Florida.1
