Surviving are his wife, JoAnne Padgett Bagwell of the home; three sons, David A. Bagwell, Jr. and wife, Cindy of Clinton, Ronald L. Bagwell and wife, Denise of Laurens, Gary Lee Bagwell of Laurens; one sister, Sara Hanvey and husband, Hoyt of Clinton; grandchildren, Kristin and April Bagwell, Tashna Bagwell, Ronald Bagwell, Jr., Chelsea Bagwell and Stephanie Bagwell, step-grandchildren, Christopher and Carly Patterson; great grandchildren, Torin Massey, Leigha Ashmore , Brady Ashmore, Jacey Ashmore. Graveside services will be conducted Monday, July 4th at 11:00 A.M. at the Bellview Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends following the service at the graveside. Gray Funeral Home of Laurens in charge of arrangements. He was buried at Bellview Baptist Church Cemetery #1, Laurens County, South Carolina.
