     Henry W. Cox was born in 1812. He was the son of Edward Cox and Nancy Bryant Cox.

     Polly Cox was born on 3 May 1812 in Stewart, Georgia. She was the daughter of Edward Cox and Nancy Bryant Cox. As of 17 June 1827,her married name was Pugh. Polly Cox married Francis W. Pugh on 17 June 1827. Polly Cox died on 13 April 1857 in Harrison, Texas, at age 44.

     Francis W. Pugh was born on 20 April 1801. He married Polly Cox, daughter of Edward Cox and Nancy Bryant Cox, on 17 June 1827. Francis W. Pugh died on 7 August 1848 in Harrison, Texas, at age 47.

     Cornelia M. Cox was born on 19 June 1814 in Stewart, Georgia. She was the daughter of Edward Cox and Nancy Bryant Cox. As of 1833,her married name was Campbell. Cornelia M. Cox married Daniel Campbell in 1833 at Barbour County, Alabama. Cornelia M. Cox died on 14 January 1900 at age 85. She was buried at Pine Level Cemetery, Barbour County, Alabama.

     Daniel Campbell was born in 1810 in South Carolina. He married Cornelia M. Cox, daughter of Edward Cox and Nancy Bryant Cox, in 1833 at Barbour County, Alabama. Daniel Campbell died in August 1853 in Barbour County, Alabama.

     Nancy Norris Cox was born on 28 August 1820 in Fort Gaines, Clay County, Georgia.¹ She was the daughter of Edward Cox and Nancy Bryant Cox. As of 20 January 1836,her married name was Casey. Nancy Norris Cox married Lemuel Casey on 20 January 1836 at Barbour County, Alabama. Nancy Norris Cox died on 24 October 1909 in Newton, Dale County, Alabama, at age 89.¹ She was buried at Pilgrim's Rest Baptist Church Cemetery, Houston County, Alabama.¹

     Lemuel Casey was born on 26 January 1813 in Rockingham, Richmond County, North Carolina. He married Nancy Norris Cox, daughter of Edward Cox and Nancy Bryant Cox, on 20 January 1836 at Barbour County, Alabama. Lemuel Casey died on 3 November 1886 in Dale County, Alabama, at age 73.

     Edward William Cox was born on 5 July 1822 in Barbour County, Alabama. He was the son of Edward Cox and Nancy Bryant Cox. Edward William Cox died on 28 October 1904 in Claiborne, Louisiana, at age 82.

     Catherine Langley was also known as Katie or Kate or Katherine Bagwell. She was born on 7 July 1865 in Gilmer, Georgia. As of 5 June 1881,her married name was Bagwell. She married Samuel David Bagwell, son of Joel Bagwell and Harriett Susan Caroline Nowlin, on 5 June 1881 at Rome, Floyd County, Georgia. She is registered as an 'Eastern Cherokee Residing East of Mississippi' in the Roll of Eastern Cherokeee, May 28, 1909, page 5, roll number116, Application 2631.      Joseph Andrew Bagwell was also known as Andrew Bagwell. He was born on 15 August 1882 in Rome, Floyd County, Georgia.¹ He was the son of Samuel David Bagwell and Catherine Langley.      Elmer Otis Bagwell was born on 4 January 1908 in Rome, Floyd County, Georgia. He was the son of Joseph Andrew Bagwell and Pearly Ester Byrd. Elmer Otis Bagwell died on 28 February 1940 in Rome, Floyd County, Georgia, at age 32.

     Kathleen Bagwell was born on 27 February 1910 in Rome, Floyd County, Georgia.¹ She was the daughter of Joseph Andrew Bagwell and Pearly Ester Byrd. Kathleen Bagwell died in 1911 in Rome, Floyd County, Georgia.¹ She was buried at Fellowship Baptist Church Cemetery, Rome, Floyd County, Georgia.¹

     Lenora Lucille Bagwell was born on 22 July 1911 in Gadsden, Alabama. She was the daughter of Joseph Andrew Bagwell and Pearly Ester Byrd. As of 15 February 1930,her married name was Lindsey. Lenora Lucille Bagwell married Joseph Elvie Lindsey on 15 February 1930 at Rome, Floyd County, Georgia. Lenora Lucille Bagwell died on 23 October 1995 in Rome, Floyd County, Georgia, at age 84
Mrs. Lenora Lucille Lindsey, 84, 800 N. Fifth Ave., Apt. 513 Rome, died Monday, October 23, 1995 in a Rome medical center following an extended illness.

She was born in Gadsden, AL on July 22, 1911, a daughter of the late Andrew Bagwell and Pearl Byrd Bagwell. Mrs. Lindsey had lived most of her life in Rome and Floyd County where she was a homemaker and a member of the Oak Hill Church of Christ. She was preceded in death by her husband, Joseph Elvie Lindsey on July 29, 1963 and a son, Charles (Ray) Lindsey on June 1, 1992.

Survivors include two daughters; Mrs. Elvadean (Dean) Richey and Mrs. Ellen Cowan both of Rome; three sons; William (Bill) Lindsey and Lawrence (Larry) Lindsey both of Rome and Carl (Corky) Lindsey, Aurora, Colorado; 16 grandchildren and 23 great-grandchildren.

Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 25 in the Oak Hill Church of Christ with Ministers Alvis Miller and David O'Connell officiating. Interment followed in East View Cemetery.
Grandsons served as pallbearers.

     Carl Roy Bagwell was born on 25 March 1913 in Gore, Georgia.¹ He was the son of Joseph Andrew Bagwell and Pearly Ester Byrd. He served in the US Army.¹ Carl Roy Bagwell died in October 1977 in Rome, Floyd County, Georgia, at age 64.¹ He was buried at Pleasant Hope Cemetery, Rome, Floyd County, Georgia.¹

     James Bagwell was born on 24 August 1919 in Rome, Floyd County, Georgia.¹ He was the son of Joseph Andrew Bagwell and Pearly Ester Byrd. James Bagwell died on 25 November 1920 in Rome, Floyd County, Georgia, at age 1.¹ He was buried at Fellowship Baptist Church Cemetery, Rome, Floyd County, Georgia.¹

     Lawrence Edward Bagwell was born on 6 December 1921 in Rome, Floyd County, Georgia.¹ He was the son of Joseph Andrew Bagwell and Pearly Ester Byrd. Lawrence Edward Bagwell died in March 1962 in Miami, Dade County, Florida, at age 40.¹ He was buried at Vista Memorial Gardens, Miami Lakes, Miami-Dade County, Florida.¹

     Marie Bagwell was born on 30 December 1924 in Rome, Floyd County, Georgia.¹ She was the daughter of Joseph Andrew Bagwell and Pearly Ester Byrd. Marie Bagwell died in 1925 in Rome, Floyd County, Georgia.¹ She was buried at Fellowship Baptist Church Cemetery, Rome, Floyd County, Georgia.¹

     Harry Bagwell was born on 30 December 1924 in Rome, Floyd County, Georgia.¹ He was the son of Joseph Andrew Bagwell and Pearly Ester Byrd. Harry Bagwell died in 1933 in Rome, Floyd County, Georgia, of accidental drowning in the Etowah River.¹ He was buried at Fellowship Baptist Church Cemetery, Rome, Floyd County, Georgia.¹

     Joseph Elvie Lindsey was born on 10 April 1910 in Cullman, Cullman County, Alabama. He married Lenora Lucille Bagwell, daughter of Joseph Andrew Bagwell and Pearly Ester Byrd, on 15 February 1930 at Rome, Floyd County, Georgia. Joseph Elvie Lindsey died on 29 July 1963 in Fort Oglethorpe, Georgia, at age 53. He was buried at East View Cemetery, Rome, Floyd County, Georgia.

     Leona H. Bagwell was born in April 1890 in Georgia. She was the daughter of Samuel David Bagwell and Catherine Langley. As of before 1907,her married name was Byrd. Leona H. Bagwell married William Alexander Byrd before 1907. Leona H. Bagwell died on 21 January 1974 in Rome, Floyd County, Georgia, at age 83.

     William Alexander Byrd was born on 23 July 1878 in Rome, Floyd County, Georgia. He married Leona H. Bagwell, daughter of Samuel David Bagwell and Catherine Langley, before 1907. William Alexander Byrd died on 4 December 1926 in Rome, Floyd County, Georgia, at age 48.

     Francis Effie Bagwell was born on 27 May 1892. She was the daughter of Samuel David Bagwell and Catherine Langley.
