Survivors include a son, William "Bill" Rudolph Cooper, Sr. of Rt. 2 Donalds; a daughter, Anna Jean Cooper Davis of Rt. 2 Donalds; and 6 grandchildren.

Finished Honea Path High School in 1925 had a scholarship to Limestone College but did not attend.1

Born in Ware Shoals, she was a daughter of the late Marvin A. and Birdie Lee Hughes Dower. She was a member of Honea Path Pentecostal Holiness Church where she taught Sunday school for many years. She was retired from Riegel Textile Corp.

Surviving are two daughters: Linda Bagwell Hinson and husband J.
