     James Washington Bagwell was born in 1835 in Missouri.^1,2 He was the son of William Bagwell and Mary A. Johnson.¹ He was listed as unmarried (Single) on 1 July 1863 at Malumore Precinc, California. James Washington Bagwell lived in 1870 in Sutter, Sutter County, California. He lived on 19 June 1880 in Susanville, Lassen County, California.² He lived in 1896 in Susanville, California; according to U.S. Voter Registers in California. It lists his birth place was Missouri. He died on 1 May 1898 in Lassen County, California.¹ He was buried at Susanville Cemetery, Susanville, Lassen County, California.¹

     John B. Shewmaker was born on 10 December 1875. He married Della Bagwell, daughter of Henderson O'Neal Bagwell and Sarah Chrisantha "Cassie" James, after 1890. John B. Shewmaker died on 20 January 1968 at age 92. He was buried at Perryville Cemetery, Perryville, Boyle County, Kentucky.

     John Augusta Bagwell was born on 5 February 1895 in Accomack County, Virginia. He served as SGT in Batt HQ for Army Service Corps during World War I. He married Annie Estelle Johnson before 1923. John Augusta Bagwell died on 30 June 1948 in Pocomoke City, Maryland, at age 53. He was buried at Bethany United Methodist Church Cemetery, Pocomoke City, Worcester County, Maryland.

     Annie Estelle Johnson was born on 9 November 1903 in Accomack County, Virginia. As of before 1923,her married name was Bagwell. She married John Augusta Bagwell before 1923. Annie Estelle Johnson died on 22 September 2000 in Pocomoke City, Worchester County, Maryland, at age 96. She was buried at Bethany United Methodist Church Cemetery, Pocomoke City, Worcester County, Maryland.

     John Augusta Bagwell Jr. was born on 18 November 1923 in Pocomoke City, Worchester County, Maryland. He was the son of John Augusta Bagwell and Annie Estelle Johnson. He served as a SSGT in the US Army during World War II. John Augusta Bagwell Jr. married Hilda Raye Cox after 1945. John Augusta Bagwell Jr. died on 18 December 1988 in Peninsula General Hospital, Salisbury, Wicomico County, Maryland, at age 65. He was buried at Springhill Memory Gardens, Hebron, Wicomico County, Maryland.

     Robert Fulton Bagwell Sr. was born on 8 July 1929 in Pocomoke, Maryland. He was the son of John Augusta Bagwell and Annie Estelle Johnson. Robert Fulton Bagwell Sr. married Norma Lee Williams on 9 March 1951 at Grace Methodist Church, Salisbury, Maryland. He was in the US Army and a Korean War veteran serving from from 14 March 1951 to 13 March 1953. Robert Fulton Bagwell Sr. married Sharon Marie Hegisi Sr. on 14 February 1976 at Calvary Asbury United Methodist Church, Sudlersville, Queen Anne's County, Maryland. Robert Fulton Bagwell Sr. died on 15 November 1989 in Salisbury, Wicomico County, Maryland, at age 60 of cancer. He was buried on 26 November 1989 at Wicomico Memorial Park, Salisbury, Maryland.

     Sherry Diane Bagwell was born on 26 January 1953 in Gordon County, Georgia. She was the daughter of Eugene Durell Bagwell and Martha Lee Boswell. As of after 1972,her married name was Williams. Sherry Diane Bagwell married (?) Williams after 1972. Sherry Diane Bagwell died on 21 April 2016 at age 63. She was buried at Chandler Cemetery, Calhoun, Gordon County, Georgia.

     John F. Crew married Bonnie Fay Bagwell, daughter of Chester Paul Bagwell and Fannie West, on 26 January 1948 at Broward County, Florida.

     Mary Catherine Bagwell was born in 1959.¹ She was the daughter of Herbert Raymond Bagwell and Ardyth Wertenberger.¹ Mary Catherine Bagwell died on 16 April 1959.¹ She was buried at Claude Cemetery, Claude, Armstrong County, Texas.¹

     Margaret Orr married Reverend Ralph Lee Bagwell, son of Hoyt Beland Bagwell and Arlie B. Vaughn, after 1945.

     Sandra Leigh Bagwell was born on 12 September 1945 in Georgia. She was the daughter of Reverend Ralph Lee Bagwell and Margaret Orr. As of before 1973,her married name was Watson. Sandra Leigh Bagwell married (?) Watson before 1973. Sandra Leigh Bagwell died on 4 January 2012 in Forsyth County, Georgia, at age 66.

     (?) Watson married Sandra Leigh Bagwell, daughter of Reverend Ralph Lee Bagwell and Margaret Orr, before 1973.

     Elise Van Wagenen Taylor married Commander Wallace Bruce Bagwell, son of Ernest Burton Bagwell and Nona Mable Buice, on 28 July 1950 at Florida.

     Carolyn Lee Lee married George Wallace Bagwell, son of George Washington Bagwell and Mamie Mason, after 1950.

     Margaret (?) and William Riley Bagwell were divorced on 26 October 1970 at Brevard County, Florida.

     Elizabeth M. Babb was born on 7 December 1928 in Asheville, Buncombe County, North Carolina.¹ As of after 1940,her married name was Bagwell. She married William Riley Bagwell, son of John Tee Bagwell and Della Garrison, after 1940. As of after 1971,her married name was Moon. Elizabeth M. Babb married Adolphus Randolphus "Dock" Moon after 1971. Elizabeth M. Babb died on 16 August 2005 at age 76
Elizabeth M. McAdams, 76, of 18 Hodgens Drive, went to be with the Lord Jesus on Tuesday, Aug. 16, 2005.

Born in Asheville, N.C., she was a daughter of the late William Dock and Annie Maude Bowers Babb, and widow of the late Boyce McAdams.

Ms. McAdams retired from Greenville Hospital System and was a member of Freedom Baptist Church.

Surviving are three children, James Kenneth and Pam Bagwell of Shelbyville, Tenn., Patty and Steve Bruce of Greenville, S.C., and Rick and Patti Bagwell of Atlanta, Ga; "my precious" grandchildren, Aaron and Elizabeth Bagwell of Shelbyville, Tenn., and Brittany and Hunter Bagwell of Atlanta, Ga.

Surviving also are a brother, Steve and Kathy Babb; five sisters, Betty Jo Coleman of Greenville, Pat and John Penland of Mauldin, Nancy and Guy Penland of Simpsonville, Sue DuBose of Sumter and Linda Campbell of Taylors; a sister-in-law, Bobbie Babb, of Fountain Inn; and several nieces and nephews.

She is predeceased by former husband, Dock Moon; a brother, James Kenneth Babb; and a sister, Cleo Phillips.

Visitation will be held this evening from 6 to 8:30 at Thomas McAfee Funeral Home, Northwest.

Services will be held Friday at 10:30 a.m. at Freedom Baptist Church. Burial will be at Graceland Cemetery, West.

Memorials may be made to the Building Fund of Freedom Baptist Church, 1907 W. Parker Road, Greenville, SC 29617.

Mrs. McAdams would like to thank her children, family, friends, and neighbors on Hodgens Drive in Greenville and Saluda View Drive in Easley, and her church family, for their many kindnesses to her.

The family is at the home of the daughter, 8 Meeting Place, Greenville.

William Richard Bagwell married Patrica Elaine Rickard on 14 June 1980 at Oak Crest Baptist Church, Greenville, Greenville County, South Carolina. William Richard Bagwell died on 10 September 2006 in Duluth, Gwinnett County, Georgia, at age 48. He was buried on 13 September 2006 at Peachtree Memorial Park, Norcross, Gwinnett County, Georgia.

     Patrica Elaine Rickard married William Richard Bagwell, son of William Riley Bagwell and Elizabeth M. Babb, on 14 June 1980 at Oak Crest Baptist Church, Greenville, Greenville County, South Carolina.

     William Hunter Bagwell is the son of William Richard Bagwell and Patrica Elaine Rickard.¹ William Hunter Bagwell married Amanda Ann Minter in 2013.¹

     Brittany Elizabeth Bagwell is the daughter of William Richard Bagwell and Patrica Elaine Rickard.

     Pam Thrash married James Kenneth Bagwell, son of William Riley Bagwell and Elizabeth M. Babb, after 1970.

     Patty Bagwell is the daughter of William Riley Bagwell and Elizabeth M. Babb. Patty Bagwell married Steve Bruce after 1970.

     Steve Bruce married Patty Bagwell, daughter of William Riley Bagwell and Elizabeth M. Babb, after 1970.

     Adolphus Randolphus "Dock" Moon was born on 25 September 1920 in South Carolina. He married Elizabeth M. Babb after 1971. Adolphus Randolphus "Dock" Moon died on 13 November 1991 in Greenville County, South Carolina, at age 71.

     David S. Jordan married Doris E. Bagwell, daughter of Charles William Gossett and Marie Elizabeth Arnold, on 27 July 1940 at Greenfield Village, Wayne County, Michigan.

     Maureen (?) married James Charles Bagwell Jr., son of James Charles Bagwell and Moton Amelia Murff, circa 1945 at England.
