Elizabeth M. McAdams, 76, of 18 Hodgens Drive, went to be with the Lord Jesus on Tuesday, Aug. 16, 2005.

Born in Asheville, N.C., she was a daughter of the late William Dock and Annie Maude Bowers Babb, and widow of the late Boyce McAdams.

Ms. McAdams retired from Greenville Hospital System and was a member of Freedom Baptist Church.

Surviving are three children, James Kenneth and Pam Bagwell of Shelbyville, Tenn., Patty and Steve Bruce of Greenville, S.C., and Rick and Patti Bagwell of Atlanta, Ga; "my precious" grandchildren, Aaron and Elizabeth Bagwell of Shelbyville, Tenn., and Brittany and Hunter Bagwell of Atlanta, Ga.

Surviving also are a brother, Steve and Kathy Babb; five sisters, Betty Jo Coleman of Greenville, Pat and John Penland of Mauldin, Nancy and Guy Penland of Simpsonville, Sue DuBose of Sumter and Linda Campbell of Taylors; a sister-in-law, Bobbie Babb, of Fountain Inn; and several nieces and nephews.

She is predeceased by former husband, Dock Moon; a brother, James Kenneth Babb; and a sister, Cleo Phillips.

Visitation will be held this evening from 6 to 8:30 at Thomas McAfee Funeral Home, Northwest.

Services will be held Friday at 10:30 a.m. at Freedom Baptist Church. Burial will be at Graceland Cemetery, West.

Memorials may be made to the Building Fund of Freedom Baptist Church, 1907 W. Parker Road, Greenville, SC 29617.

Mrs. McAdams would like to thank her children, family, friends, and neighbors on Hodgens Drive in Greenville and Saluda View Drive in Easley, and her church family, for their many kindnesses to her.

The family is at the home of the daughter, 8 Meeting Place, Greenville.
