She married Rayford Lafayette Bagwell, son of Clarence Wilburn Bagwell and Eva Verda Durbin, on 22 December 1946 at Winnfield, Louisiana. Mable Violet Brewton died on 12 January 2015 in Winn Parish, Louisiana, at age 87. She was buried on 15 January 2015 at Antioch Community Cemetery, Winn Parish, Louisiana.

     Beverly E. Bicknell married Clyde Carson Bagwell, son of Michael Horace Bagwell and Lula G. Frazier, on 9 August 1952 at San Diego County, California.

As of 12 November 1946,her married name was Bagwell. Edna Mae Ward married Clarence Edward Bagwell, son of Albert William Bagwell and Zella Price, on 12 November 1946. Edna Mae Ward died on 15 February 1998 in Kansas at age 74. She was buried at Mount Hope Cemetery, Independence, Montgomery County, Kansas.

     Vivian Odetta Bailey was born on 4 June 1939 in Virginia. She married William Thomas Bagwell, son of Julius Raymond Bagwell and Mary Magdalene Stevens, on 15 January 1962 at Accomac County, Virginia. As of 15 January 1962,her married name was Bagwell. Vivian Odetta Bailey died in June 1982. She was buried at Curtis Cemetery, Bishopville, Worchester County, Maryland.

     Marion Lee Bagwell is the daughter of William Thomas Bagwell and Vivian Odetta Bailey.

     Robert J. Bagwell was born circa 1960 in Accomac County, Virginia. He was the son of William Thomas Bagwell and Vivian Odetta Bailey. Robert J. Bagwell died before 1 July 2022.

     Peggy Belinda Bagwell was born on 26 December 1968 in Lewes, Sussex County, Delaware. She was the daughter of William Thomas Bagwell and Vivian Odetta Bailey. Peggy Belinda Bagwell died on 10 June 2007 in Seaford, Sussex County, Delaware, at age 38. She was buried on 16 June 2007 at Saint John 2nd Baptist Church Cemetery, Millville, Sussex County, Delaware.¹

     Keith Nathaniel Bagwell was born on 8 February 1964 in Accommack County, Virginia. He was the son of William Thomas Bagwell and Vivian Odetta Bailey. Keith Nathaniel Bagwell died on 1 July 2022 in Millsboro, Sussex County, Delaware, at age 58


Keith Nathaniel Bagwell, 58, of Milton, passed away at Beebe Healthcare Friday, July 1, 2022.

Keith was born in Accomack County, Va., to the late William T. and Vivian O. Bailey Bagwell.

He was employed by Allen’s Poultry Plant in Hurlock until becoming disabled. Keith was a member of St. John Second Baptist Church in Millsboro. In his free time, he enjoyed traveling by car and riding around, especially visiting the Eastern Shore of Virginia. He can be described as the life of the party, a happy-go-lucky, people person, who loved to laugh and joke around, but he would also tell you like it was, he did not sugarcoat. Keith was a wonderful father, brother, pop pop, uncle, and friend who will be dearly missed.

In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by three siblings, Peggy Bagwell, Robert Bagwell and William Bagwell.

He is survived by two sons, Keith Eley (Toishaun) of Milton, and Tyshia Partlow of Wilmington. He has three sisters, Marion Bagwell of Laurel, Vivian Bagwell of Laurel, and Brinda Bailey of Bridgeville; and one brother, Jerome Bailey (Tonisha) of Cambridge, Md; two aunts, Annie Jeanette Bailey of Millsboro, and Rose Pryon of Virginia; one uncle, Henry Bailey of Smyrna; and a sister-in-law, Deborah Bagwell of Millsboro. Keith also leaves behind five grandchildren: Vynaiza, Lavay, Tyshia Jr., Tyshay Jr. and Keith Jr; as well as two great-grandsons, Jahmez and Dishere. He is also survived by three special friends, Stanley, Terry and Mel; as well as extended family and friends.

A memorial service will be held at noon, Saturday, July 23, at St. John’s Second Baptist Church, 26602 Mt. Joy Road, Millsboro. Interment will be private.

     Estelle Elizabeth Durham was born on 30 October 1923 in Bloxom, Accomac County, Virginia. As of 24 July 1944,her married name was Bagwell. She married Reginald Thomas Bagwell, son of George Augustus Bagwell and Rachel Lewis, on 24 July 1944 at Accomac County, Virginia. Estelle Elizabeth Durham and an unknown person were divorced on 5 October 1960 at Accomac County, Virginia. She died on 10 June 2008 in Accomac County, Virginia, at age 84. She was buried at Wessells Cemetery, Mears Station, Accomac County, Virginia.

     James Thomas Bagwell is the son of Reginald Thomas Bagwell and Estelle Elizabeth Durham. James Thomas Bagwell married Deborah Sharon Gibbons on 7 July 1976 at Accomac County, Virginia.

Edwards, in August 1967 at Tuscaloosa County, Alabama. Bessie Sue Sudduth died on 7 June 2002 at age 79. She was buried at Sunset Memorial Park, Northport, Tuscaloosa County, Alabama.

     Margaret E. McGahey was born on 25 November 1920 in Reform, Pickens County, Alabama. As of after 1992,her married name was Bagwell. She married Travis Maloy Bagwell, son of Andrew Wiley Bagwell and Viola L. Edwards, after 1992. Margaret E. McGahey died on 18 August 2014 in Tuscaloosa, Tuscaloosa County, Alabama, at age 93


NORTHPORT | Margaret E. Brown-Bagwell, age 93, of Northport, died August 18, 2014, at DCH Regional Medical Center. Services will be 11 a.m. Thursday, August 21, 2014, at Heritage Chapel Funeral Home with Doctor Donnie Payne of Forest Lake Baptist Church officiating. Burial will follow in Tuscaloosa Memorial Park with Heritage Chapel Funeral Home & Cremations, a Dignity Memorial Provider, directing. Visitation will be Wednesday from 6 to 8 p.m. at the funeral home.
She was preceded in death by her husband, James H. "Pup" Brown; husband, Travis M. Bagwell; parents, Thomas Lee McGahey and Fannie Mae McGahey; and brother, Russell McGahey (Lydia).
Survivors include her son, Jimmy Dean Brown (Ann) of Tuscaloosa; and grandchildren, Kaitlyn Brown, Cameron Brown, Hannah Williams, and Caleb Williams.
Margaret was born November 25, 1920 in Reform, Ala. to Thomas Lee and Fannie Mae McGahey. She and James H. ''Pup'' Brown married in 1939 and had one son, Jimmy Dean Brown. During the early years they lived in Brownville, Ala. and then moved to Tuscaloosa. Margaret was in retail sales and worked with the Pizitz stores for over 40 years, managing the downtown and Alberta stores. She loved people and had many friends. ''Pup'' died in 1964. In 1973 Margaret met and married Travis Bagwell and they enjoyed over 20 years together. Their favorite pastime was camping on the river. She was an avid sports fan especially Alabama baseball and Atlanta Braves many times arriving early to games in order to get a good parking space. She also enjoyed watching the grandchildren's games. Her grandchildren and great- grandchildren were the joy of her life as well as her many friends. She loved the Lord and her church, Forest Lake Baptist Church. Special thanks to Butch and Susan Kincaid who provided transportation on Sunday mornings to Sunday school and church after her move to Presbyterian Apartments.
Pallbearers will be Mike Wright, Jerry Belk, Phillip Williams, David Avery, Barton Avery, Brian Thompson, Butch Kincaid, and Rusty McGahey.
Honorary pallbearers are members of Forest Lake Baptist Church.
