Mattie Beatrice "Bea" Huff Bagwell, 83, of 15 Catawba St., City View, died Saturday at Greenville Memorial Hospital.

Born in Pickens County, she was a daughter of the late Clinton C. and Lela J. Huff, and wife of the late Henry Lewis Bagwell.

Mrs. Bagwell was a retired employee of Dunean Mill and was a hostess at Wendy's on White Horse Road for the last twelve years. She was of the Baptist faith.

Surviving are a son, Harold L. Bagwell and wife, Shirley, of Belton; a daughter, Ann B. George and her special friend, Joe Laws, of Greenville; a sister, Ethel H. Scroggs of Greenville; two grandsons, Bo Bagwell and wife, Angie, and Kevin Bagwell and wife, Theresa, all of Belton; a granddaughter, Haley George of Greenville; and two great-grandchildren, Logan Bagwell and Katelyn Donalds. Mrs. Bagwell was predeceased by three sisters and a brother.

Graveside services will be Monday at 3 p.m. at Graceland Cemetery, West, with the Rev. Brad Bardin officiating. Visitation will be from 1 to 2:30 p.m. at Thomas McAfee Funeral Home, Northwest, prior to the service.

The family is at their respective homes.

James Charles "Charlie" Bagwell, 89, of 4505 Old Easley Bridge Road, passed away Saturday February 26, 2011 at McCall Hospice House.

Mr. Bagwell was born in Easley, a son of the late David Calvin and Etta Hopkins Bagwell. He was a U.S. Army veteran of W.W. II and retired in 1981 from Pilot Freight Carriers. He was a Baptist.

Surviving are his wife, Freda Wilson Bagwell, of the home; two sons, Ricky Bagwell and wife, Becky, of Lyman, and Dea Bagwell, of Greenville; two daughters, Laura B. Becknell and husband, Doug, of Easley and Dawn B. Thompson, of Greenville; 6 grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a sister, Pearl Hayes.

Funeral Services will be 2:00 PM Monday in the Chapel of Robinson Funeral Home - Powdersville Road with the Reverend Roy Porter officiating.

Visitation will be from 1:00 PM until 2:00 PM Monday, prior to the service, at the funeral home.

Robinson Funeral Home - Powdersville Road, which is assisting the family.
