Martha Louvenia Bagwell was born on 13 March 1857 Alleged tombstone inscription gives this date, and 7 Mar 1951 as DOD. Probably a sloppy transcription.4 She married John Willis Pruitt on 5 January 1878 at Hall County, Georgia.5 As of 5 January 1878,her married name was Pruitt. Martha Louvenia Bagwell died on 7 March 1950 in McGuffey Nursing Home, Gadsden, Etowah County, Alabama, at age 93.6 She was buried on 8 March 1950 at Mt. Carmel Cemetery, Cullman, Cullman County, Alabama.1
