     Pauline Bagwell was born on 13 February 1905 in Pulaski County, Indiana. She was the daughter of John William Bagwell and Louella Mary Watts. As of 20 February 1924,her married name was Garver. Pauline Bagwell married Clarence J. Garver on 20 February 1924 at Winamac, Pulaski County, Indiana. Pauline Bagwell died on 11 May 1993 in Logansport, Indiana, at age 88. She was buried at Bruce Lake Cemetery, Kewanna, Fulton County, Indiana.

     Charles Edward Goodrich married Thora Louise Bagwell, daughter of Athel Jay Bagwell and Lelia Velle Vernon, on 23 September 1966 at Royal Center, Cass County, Indiana.

Obituary: Walter Vernon Mayfield, 87, formerly of 112 Columbia Street, husband of Lalar Bagwell Mayfield died Saturday, March 13, 2010 at Richard Campbell VA Home in Anderson. Born in Anderson, he was the son of the late Crayton and Gertrude Williams Mayfield. Walter was a US Navy veteran of WWII and formerly worked for Greenwood Specialty. He was preceded in death by a son, James Melvin Mayfield and by two sisters, Hazel Cain and Jeanette Brooks. Surviving in addition to his wife are a daughter, Patsy Davis and her husband, Johnny of Ware Shoals; a son Gerald Mayfield and his wife, Terri of Greenwood; a daughter-in-law, Becky Mayfield of Greenwood; four sisters, Lillian Reed of Anderson, Mary Thacston of Douglas, GA, Helen Duncan of GA and Joanne Buckhaulter of Bainbridge, GA; eight grandchildren; seventeen great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild. Pallbearers will be Robbie Davis, Barry Mayfield, Walter McCants, Matt Shannon, Dwayne Threlkeld, Jim Davis, Chris Steifle and Wil Threlkeld. Memorials may be made to HospiceCare of the Piedmont, 408 West Alexander Avenue, Greenwood, SC 29646. The family is at their respective homes.
