DELATTE Otis G. Delatte Sr. passed away on Friday, April 9, 2010. Beloved husband of Doris Bagwell Delatte for 59 years. Father of Otis Jr, Gerald, Michael, Ricky, Timothy, Wendell, Robert, Randy, Thomas, John and Brian Delatte, Charlotte Torres, Leona Buras, Tina Pequet and Danielle Delatte. Also survived by 52 grandchildren and 24 great-grandchildren. Son of the late Thomas and Alcia Delatte. Brother of Ethylee Lelux and the late Edrice, Thomas, Ellis, James, Elwood, Earl, and Albert Delatte and Julie Pritchard. Age 77. A native of Whitehall, La. and a resident of LaPlace, La. Relatives and friends, also employees of Sewell Cadillac of New Orleans are invited to attend services.      Doris Evyln Bagwell was born on 26 June 1933 in Bedford, Lawrence County, Indiana. She was the daughter of Ruth A. Bagwell. Doris Evyln Bagwell died on 28 January 2008 in Munice, Delaware County, Indiana, at age 74. She was buried at Gardens of Memory, Munice, Delaware County, Indiana.

     Ralph Willard Bagwell is the son of John Jackson Bagwell and Billie Mae Johnson. Ralph Willard Bagwell married Kay Dyer Edwards on 20 December 1968.

     Lenard Lee Hughes was born on 8 March 1938 in Jackson, Rankin County, Mississippi. He married Barbara Ann Bagwell, daughter of John Howard Bagwell and Dora Dell Woods, in July 1963 at News Orleans, Louisiana. Lenard Lee Hughes died on 7 October 1987 in Nashville, Tennessee, at age 49.

     Healy Leroy Bagwell Jr. is the son of Healy Leroy Bagwell and Mary Catherine Carpenter. Healy Leroy Bagwell Jr. married Connie Lynn Belangia on 14 December 1974. Healy Leroy Bagwell Jr. and Connie Lynn Belangia were divorced on 3 January 1979. Healy Leroy Bagwell Jr. married Linda Sue Beeman on 12 July 1980 at Virginia Beach, Virginia.

     Andy Kevin Bagwell was born on 15 December 1997 in Asheville, Buncombe County, North Carolina.¹ He was the son of Kevin James Bagwell and Stephanie (?)¹ Andy Kevin Bagwell died on 7 September 2021 in Burnsville, Yancey County, North Carolina, at age 23

Andy Bagwell, 14 year old son of Kevin and Stephanie Peterson Bagwell, went home to be with the Lord, Friday September 7, 2012. Andy was a freshman at Mountain Heritage High School. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, sports and riding his motorcycle. He enjoyed attending Pensacola Free Will Baptist Church. He was preceded in death by his grandfather, James Stuart Bagwell.



Surviving, in addition to his parents, are his grandparents: Doug and Bonnie Peterson of Green Mountain, Lynn Hensley Bagwell of Burnsville; great grandmothers: Ruby Honeycutt and Betty Honeycutt both of Yancey County; uncles and aunts: Travis and Kim Bagwell, Greg and Kim Bagwell, Alan and Christen Bagwell, and Stanley and Tammie Holloway all of Yancey County; cousins: Lydon, Mason, Dalton, Dylan, Deanna, Montana, and Stormy all of whom he loved dearly. Several great aunts and uncles and other cousins and many, many friends also survive.



Funeral services will be held at 3 PM Wednesday in the Chapel of Holcombe Brothers Funeral Home. The Revs. Norman Lovelace and Bradley Boone will officiate. Burial will be in the Bagwell Family Cemetery.¹

     Ronnie Wayne Bagwell lived in Memphis, Tennessee. He was born on 22 April 1961. He was the son of Joe Ronnie Bagwell and Ninta Jean Valentine. He was in the US Air Force as a Technical Sergeant and served for 20 years. Ronnie Wayne Bagwell married Whitney (?) circa 2009. Ronnie Wayne Bagwell died on 12 April 2021 in Bartlett, Tennessee, at age 59.

     Whitney (?) married Ronnie Wayne Bagwell, son of Joe Ronnie Bagwell and Ninta Jean Valentine, circa 2009.

     Jill Gabbert married Joe Ronnie Bagwell, son of Adolphus Bagwell and Marietta Friar, on 3 August 1973 at Grand Avenue Baptist Church, Fort Smith, Arkansas.

     Randy Bagwell is the son of Joe Ronnie Bagwell and Ninta Jean Valentine.

     Gwendolyn Stacey Bagwell is the daughter of Joe Ronnie Bagwell and Jill Gabbert. Gwendolyn Stacey Bagwell married Gary Windel Couthren after 1995.
