     W. Rainey Bagwell was born on 7 September 1890 in Mississippi. He was the son of Henry Harrison Bagwell and Mary Josephine Evans. He was a private in the US Army during World War I. W. She married Maxie Lee Bagwell, son of Henry Harrison Bagwell and Mary Josephine Evans, before 1917. Alma Lee died on 8 December 1961 in Eupora, Webster County, Mississippi, at age 65. Loyd Murphy Bagwell
Loyd Murphy Bagwell, 76, died Saturday, December 18, at the Oktibbeha County Hospital. Services for Mr. Bagwell were held Monday, December 20, at 2 p.m. from Ackerman United Methodist Church. Burial followed at Enon Cemetery. A native of Choctaw County, he was a retired Master Sargent of the U.S. Air Force and a veteran of World War II and the Korean War. Mr. Bagwell was a member of VFW, American Legion, and U.S. Air Force Sergeants Association. He served on the administrative board of Ackerman United Methodist Church. Survivors include his wife, Sarah Bagwell of Ackerman; two daughters, Gloria Armstrong of Starkville and Sarah Briggs of Round Rock, Texas; two stepsons, James Al McCulloch of Ackerman and Larry McCulloch Vinton, VA; one sister, Sara Frances White of Coffeeville; a brother, M. L. Bagwell of Carrolton; 9 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren.
He was buried at Enon Cumberland Presbyterian Church Cemetery, Ackerman, Choctaw County, Mississippi.

     Beatrice Oline Bagwell was born on 17 July 1919 in Mississippi. She was the daughter of Maxie Lee Bagwell and Alma Lee. As of after 1945,her married name was Bruce. Beatrice Oline Bagwell married Grady Bruce after 1945. Beatrice Oline Bagwell died on 24 April 1974 at age 54. She was buried at Enon Cumberland Presbyterian Church Cemetery, Ackerman, Choctaw County, Mississippi.

     Sarah Frances Bagwell was born on 11 November 1922. She was the daughter of Maxie Lee Bagwell and Alma Lee. Sarah Frances Bagwell died on 13 September 2001 at age 78.

     Sarah Landrum was born on 10 February 1922. As of circa 1970,her married name was Bagwell. She married Loyd Murphy Bagwell, son of Maxie Lee Bagwell and Alma Lee, circa 1970. Sarah Landrum died on 15 September 2009 in Ackerman, Choctaw County, Mississippi, at age 87
Sarah McCulloch Bagwell

Services for Sarah McCulloch Bagwell, 87, were Sept. 19, 2009, at Coleman Funeral Home in Ackerman with the Rev. George Buell officiating. Burial was in Enon Cemetery.

She retired from Irwin Manufacturing as an assistant plant manager with 34 years of service. She was a member of Ackerman United Methodist Church. Mrs. Bagwell died Sept. 15, 2009, at her residence in Ackerman.

Survivors include two sons, James Al McCulloch of Ackerman and Larry McCulloch of Roanoke, Va; two grandsons, two granddaughters and eight great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband Al McCulloch in 1960 and her husband of 29 years, Loyd Bagwell, in 1993. She was also preceded in death by a granddaughter, Carla McCulloch.

     Joe Tom Holman was born on 5 January 1901. He married Mavis Pauline Bagwell, daughter of John Pilot Bagwell and Florence Celia Wells, after 1930.      William D. Nason was born on 27 January 1891. He married Willie Mae Bagwell, daughter of John Pilot Bagwell and Florence Celia Wells, after 1909. William D. Nason died on 30 July 1977 at age 86. He was buried at Enon Cumberland Presbyterian Church Cemetery, Ackerman, Choctaw County, Mississippi.

     Emmett M. McGovern was born on 22 November 1900. He married Mary Belle Bagwell, daughter of John Pilot Bagwell and Florence Celia Wells, after 1918. Emmett M. McGovern died on 23 May 1981 at age 80. He was buried at Enon Cumberland Presbyterian Church Cemetery, Ackerman, Choctaw County, Mississippi.

     Susan Grovia Brender was born on 8 August 1940 in Greensboro, Greene County, Georgia. As of 8 November 1964,her married name was Bagwell. She married Charles Malcolm Bagwell, son of John Daniel Bagwell Jr. and Julia Ellen Morecock, on 8 November 1964. Susan Grovia Brender died on 6 December 2014 at age 74
Susan Grovia Brender Bagwell, 74, of Brunswick and Suches, Ga., died Dec. 6, 2014.

Susan Bagwell was born Aug. 8, 1940, in Greensboro, Ga., to the late Ernst Victor Brender and Grovia Ann Lunsford Brender. She graduated from Young Harris College, Georgia Southern College and Emory University. For many years, she taught third grade at Duluth Grammar School and was a librarian at Duluth High School.

Beginning in the 1970s, she was a freelance writer and authored numerous articles for magazines including Birdwatcher’s Digest, Georgia Backroads, and Vegetarian Times. She was an avid birdwatcher and genealogist, and served as a Girl Scout leader for Troop 1227 in Lawrenceville, Ga.

Susan Bagwell was a member of the Coastal Georgia Genealogical Society, Friends of the Brunswick-Glynn County Library, and was a board member with the now defunct organization Old Town Brunswick Preservation Association.
She was buried at Mount Lebanon Cemetery, Union County, Georgia.

     Charles Malcolm Bagwell was born on 25 May 1934 in Lawrenceville, Georgia. He was the son of John Daniel Bagwell Jr. and Julia Ellen Morecock. Charles Malcolm Bagwell married Susan Grovia Brender on 8 November 1964. Charles Malcolm Bagwell died on 18 September 2021 at age 87
Charles Malcolm Bagwell, 87, of Brunswick and Suches, Georgia, died Sept. 18, 2021.
He was born May 25, 1934, in Lawrenceville, Georgia, to the late John Daniel Bagwell and Julia Ellen Morcock. Charles served in the U.S. Army, 101st Division in the 1950s, and graduated with a degree in civil engineering from the Georgia Institute of Technology in 1959.
He married Susan Brender-Bagwell, now deceased, in 1964, and for many years he worked for the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services in Atlanta. Charles finished his career at the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) and retired from construction and engineering in 1988.
Charles Bagwell was a pen and ink artist, a gardener, and a genealogist. He was a member of the Coastal Georgia Genealogical Society and the Friends of the Brunswick-Glynn County Library.
Survivors include a daughter, Jennifer Bagwell-Harvey (husband, Connor Schofield) of Savannah; a son, Tyler E. Bagwell (wife, Julie) of Brunswick; and three grandchildren, Isabel Harvey, Oliver Bagwell, and Gavin Bagwell. He is also survived by a brother, C. Blue Bagwell; and sister, Mary Ballard, both of Lawrenceville, Georgia, as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
A private memorial service will be held in Suches, Georgia, at a later date.

     Preston Laurence Keown was born on 24 July 1834. He married Minerva Jane Bagwell, daughter of Robert Johnson Bagwell and Rebecca Eliza Brannon, after 1875. Preston Laurence Keown died on 5 September 1945 at age 111. He was buried at Shadowlawn Cemetery, Lawrenceville, Gwinnett County, Georgia.

     Lawrence Estus Johnson was born on 28 November 1924. He married Bertha Virginia Bagwell, daughter of Walter Riley Bagwell and Willie Ruth Phillips, after 1945. Lawrence Estus Johnson died on 18 July 2000 at age 75. He was buried at Lebanon Baptist Church Cemetery, Duluth, Gwinnett County, Georgia.

     Katie Witte was born on 15 September 1875. As of after 1890,her married name was Bagwell. She married Daniel Van Buren Bagwell, son of James Henry Bagwell and Mary Jane Brown, after 1890. Katie Witte died on 9 February 1920 at age 44. She was buried at New Bethlehem Memorial Park Cemetery, Bellefontaine Neighbors, St. Louis County, Missouri.

     Mescal Oradell Bagwell was born on 11 March 1912 in Willisville, Perry County, Illinois. He was the son of William Ora Bagwell and Leona M. Gore. Mescal Oradell Bagwell died in January 1913 in Willisville, Perry County, Illinois. He was buried at Looney Springs Cemetery, Campbell Hill, Jackson County, Illinois.

     Dorothy Lillian Brumm married Arvel Dean Bagwell, son of Otis Lester Bagwell and Babe Campbell, on 22 October 1960.¹

     Mary Edwards was born on 16 November 1883 in Illinois. As of 4 June 1901,her married name was Bagwell. She married Charles Oliver Bagwell, son of William Thomas Bagwell and Amanda Piatta Hayes, on 4 June 1901 at Clinton County, Illinois. Mary Edwards was buried at Prichett Cemetery, Boulder, Clinton County, Illinois. She died on 4 December 1969 in Centralia, Marion County, Illinois, at age 86.

     Claude Earl Bagwell was born on 14 August 1903 in Illinois.¹ He was the son of Charles Oliver Bagwell and Mary Edwards. Claude Earl Bagwell married Edith I. Dixon after 1920. Claude Earl Bagwell married Agatha Mae Mitchell on 29 April 1934 at Phillips County, Arkansas. Claude Earl Bagwell died in August 1981 in Cook County, Illinois,

Dixon died on 26 August 1986 in Cook County, Illinois, at age 80.¹ She was buried on 29 August 1986 at Irving Park Cemetery, Chicago, Cook County, Illinois.¹

     Mary Bagwell is the daughter of Claude Earl Bagwell and Edith I. Dixon. Mary Bagwell married Richard Russell after 1945.

     Thomas Bagwell is the son of Claude Earl Bagwell and Edith I. Dixon.

     Claude Earl Bagwell Jr. is the son of Claude Earl Bagwell and Edith I. Dixon. Claude Earl Bagwell Jr. married Carol (?) after 1960. Claude Earl Bagwell Jr. married Sandra Margaret Freeman on 23 November 1991 at Clark County, Nevada.

     Charles Oliver Bagwell Jr. was also known as Oliver Bagwell. He was born on 14 April 1906 in Keyesport, Illinois. He was the son of Charles Oliver Bagwell and Mary Edwards. Charles Oliver Bagwell Jr. lived in 1920 in West Helena, Phillips County, Arkansas. He married Helen Hamett Henderson on 28 February 1938 at Phillips County, Arkansas. Charles Oliver Bagwell Jr. and Helen Hamett Henderson lived in 1940 in Macon, Bibb County, Georgia. Charles Oliver Bagwell Jr. died on 12 September 2000 at age 94. He was buried at High View Cemetery, Gray, Jones County, Georgia.

     Marold Thomas Bagwell was born on 15 December 1909 in Illinois. He was the son of Charles Oliver Bagwell and Mary Edwards. Marold Thomas Bagwell married Bernice Thomas King on 3 September 1933 at Phillips County, Arkansas. Marold Thomas Bagwell died on 8 February 1994 in Marvell, Phillips County, Arkansas, at age 84. He was buried at Schaffhauser Cemetery, Marvell, Philips County, Arkansas.
