Charles Bagwell was a pen and ink artist, a gardener, and a genealogist. He was a member of the Coastal Georgia Genealogical Society and the Friends of the Brunswick-Glynn County Library.
Survivors include a daughter, Jennifer Bagwell-Harvey (husband, Connor Schofield) of Savannah; a son, Tyler E. Bagwell (wife, Julie) of Brunswick; and three grandchildren, Isabel Harvey, Oliver Bagwell, and Gavin Bagwell. He is also survived by a brother, C. Blue Bagwell; and sister, Mary Ballard, both of Lawrenceville, Georgia, as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
A private memorial service will be held in Suches, Georgia, at a later date.
