Barbara J. Bagwell, 78, of Scottsdale, Arizona, passed away Saturday, Jan. 26, 2008, at Banner Desert Hospital in Arizona. She was born Sept. 28, 1929, in Springfield, Ohio, widow of Clyde Ed. Bagwell Mrs. Bagwell had been a resident of Scottsdale, Arizona, for seven years, formerly residing in Austin and Kerrville, Texas. Survivors include her brother, Jim Wright; son, Terry Brawley; daughter, Karen Kuhn; and granddaughter, Kourtney Kuhn. She will be greatly missed. Graveside services will be at 2:00 p.m. Monday, Feb. 11th at Garden of Memories Cemetery, Kerrville, Texas.

     Matilda Hayes was born on 24 December 1912 in Noble, Breathitt County, Kentucky. As of after 1930,her married name was Bagwell. She married Clyde Edward Bagwell, son of Clyde Hubert Bagwell and Eliza Guthrie, after 1930. Matilda Hayes died on 12 July 2005 in Kentucky at age 92. She was buried at Jackson Cemetery, Jackson, Breathitt County, Kentucky.

     Laura Mae Bell was born on 12 May 1923 in South Carolina. As of after 1941,her married name was Bagwell. She married Joseph Robert Bagwell, son of Julius Eugene Bagwell and Lula J. Julian, after 1941. Laura Mae Bell died on 20 November 2000 in Piedmont, Anderson County, South Carolina, at age 77. She was buried at Oak Grove Cemetery, Piedmont, Anderson County, South Carolina.

     Joseph Robert Bagwell Jr. was born in February 1958 in South Carolina. He was the son of Joseph Robert Bagwell and Laura Mae Bell. Joseph Robert Bagwell Jr. married Edna Mae Farmer after 1973. Joseph Robert Bagwell Jr. died on 8 April 2021 in Simpsonville, South Carolina, at age 63

Joe Robert Bagwell, 63, resident of Piedmont, passed away peacefully on Sunday, August 8, 2021, at Simpsonville Rehab.

Born in Anderson, SC, Joe was the son of the late J.R. Bagwell and Laura Mae Bell Bagwell. Joe began his career working at J.P. Stevens Mill and upon its closing, he continued his work around many other mills in the Anderson area.

Joe was a simple man and loved the outdoors. From hunting to fishing, he spent countless hours enjoying nature and all its blessing.

Joe is survived by a son, Joey and wife Jennifer Bagwell of Iva, and a daughter, Lindsay and husband James Lusk of Anderson. He is also survived by his grandchildren, Harrison Bagwell, Hayden Bagwell, Hayley Bagwell, Harley Bagwell, Daniel Bagwell, Brittany Burdette, Hunter Lusk, and twin great-grandchildren, James and Jackson Lusk.

A service will be held at 4:00 PM on Wednesday, August 11, 2021, inside the Tribute Room at The Standard Cremation & Funeral Center, 1621 Pearman Dairy Road, Anderson, SC 29625 with Rev. Robin Harrison officiating.

     Edna Mae Farmer was born on 22 January 1955 in Pulaski, Pulaski County, Virginia. As of after 1973,her married name was Bagwell. She married Joseph Robert Bagwell Jr., son of Joseph Robert Bagwell and Laura Mae Bell, after 1973. Edna Mae Farmer died on 14 June 2018 in Piedmont, Anderson County, South Carolina, at age 63.

     Georgia Jane Bagwell was born on 21 February 1945. She was the daughter of George Washington Bagwell and Johnnie Belle Dunn. As of 12 August 1961,her married name was Haskew. Georgia Jane Bagwell married Gary Ransom Haskew on 12 August 1961 at LaFayette, Georgia. Georgia Jane Bagwell died on 7 November 1997 at age 52. She was buried at Chattanooga Memorial Park, Chattanooga, Hamilton County, Tennessee.

     Gary Ransom Haskew was born on 1 July 1942. He married Georgia Jane Bagwell, daughter of George Washington Bagwell and Johnnie Belle Dunn, on 12 August 1961 at LaFayette, Georgia. Gary Ransom Haskew died on 4 July 2016 at age 74. He was buried at Chattanooga Memorial Park, Chattanooga, Hamilton County, Tennessee.

She was buried at Laurel Land Memorial Park, Dallas, Dallas County, Texas.

     Ernest Richard “Ernie” Hice was born on 26 February 1903. He married Effie E. Bagwell, daughter of James Wooster Bagwell and Myrtle Prigmore, in 1921. Ernest Richard “Ernie” Hice died on 11 August 1970 at age 67. He was buried at Laurel Land Memorial Park, Dallas, Dallas County, Texas.

     Robert P. Norton married Pamela Therse Bagwell, daughter of Percy Dollar Bagwell Jr. and Francis E. Crawford, on 19 September 1983 at Brazos County, Texas.

     Bobby Lane Blankenship married Rita Jima Bagwell, daughter of Wendell "Wendy" Lee Bagwell and Melba Louise Hogue, on 17 August 1968 at Marietta, Georgia.

He served in the US Army Air Force as a Master Sergeant from from 13 April 1940 to 20 September 1945 in the 443d Army Air Force Group. Hubert Bagwell married Lorena Brady on 10 May 1947 at Autauga County, Alabama. Hubert Bagwell married Roxie Ella Long before 1967. Hubert Bagwell and Roxie Ella Long were divorced in May 1967 at Stanislaus County, California. Hubert Bagwell died on 29 July 1967 in San Joaquin County, California, at age 49. He was buried at Lakewood Memorial Park, Hughson, Stanislaus County, California.
