Born in Greenville, she was the daughter of the late John Terry Bagwell and Mary Davis Bagwell and wife of the late William R. Harrison.

Mrs. Harrison worked for many years in the Greenville Downtown retail business. She was a member of Sans Souci Baptist Church and a long-time teacher of the Ethel Ayers Sunday School Class.

Surviving are three children, Brenda Perry and husband, Mike, of Atlanta, Ga., Elaine Mosley and husband, Bill, of Ellijay, Ga., and Greg Harrison and wife, Connie, of Greenville; a daughter-in-law, Linda Sims of Greer; 10 grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; and one great-great-granddaughter.

She was preceded in by her first husband, Guy Sims; a son, Mack Sims; six brothers; and three sisters.

Visitation will be Saturday, August 30, 2008, from 6 to 7:30 p.m. at Thomas McAfee Funeral Home, Northwest.

The funeral service will be Sunday, August 31, 2008, at 2 p.m. at Sans Souci Baptist Church. Burial will be at Woodlawn Memorial Park.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Sans Souci Baptist Church, 3100 Buncombe Road, Greenville, SC 29609.

The family wishes to express their gratitude to McCall Hospice House and other extended friends and family.

The family is at their respective homes.

William David Bagwell, 71, of Pelzer, SC, husband of Joyce (Woodson) Bagwell, died Monday, July 11, 2005, at Summit Place in Simpsonville.

Born in Greenville County, he was a son of the late Willie and Sarah Lou (Knight) Bagwell.

Retired from PPG Industries following 45 years of service, he was a U.S. Army veteran and a member of Washington Baptist Church where he served as a former deacon, Adult III Sunday School Director, member of the Homebound Committee, an usher, greeter, and known as the official hugger of the church. In addition, he was a member of the Cornerstones Senior Citizens and was a volunteer with Meals on Wheels.

Surviving are his wife of the home; son and daughter-in-law, Tony and Shelia Ashe Bagwell of Greenville; a brother, Earl Bagwell of Pelzer; and a granddaughter, Bridgette Bagwell of Greenville.

Funeral services were held at 11:00 a.m., Thursday, July 14, 2005 at Washington Baptist Church, by Revs. Stan Candler, Mike Morris, and James Ellenburg. Burial followed in Greenville Memorial Gardens.

The family received friends 6:00-8:00 p.m. Wednesday, July 13, 2005 at Gray Mortuary, Pelzer.

Funeral services will be 2 p.m. Monday at Washington Baptist Church, with the Rev. Stan Candler officiating. Burial will follow in Greenville Memorial Gardens.

Stevens Piedmont plant for forty plus years and a member of Piedmont Church of God of Prophecy.
