He served in the US Army during Vietnam from from 3 April 1964 to 17 April 1967. Thomas Raymond Goff Jr. died on 29 June 2001 at age 54 died from ijuries from an automobile accident. He was buried at Mars Hill Cemetery, Adamsville, McNairy County, Tennessee.
