     Sarah Lucinda "Lucy" Bagwell was born on 16 September 1864 in Spartanburg, Spartanburg County, South Carolina.¹ She was the daughter of Harrison Jasper Bagwell and Martha Elminia Crocker.¹ As of 25 December 1881,her married name was Steadman. Sarah Lucinda "Lucy" Bagwell married Javan Livingston Steadman on 25 December 1881. Sarah Lucinda "Lucy" Bagwell died on 15 August 1950 in Spartanburg, Spartanburg County, South Carolina, at age 85.

     Mourning Teletha Jennings was also known as M. T. Jennings. She was born on 8 August 1850 in Spartanburg, Spartanburg County, South Carolina. As of 1875,her married name was Bagwell. She married Robert James Bagwell, son of Harrison Jasper Bagwell and Martha Elminia Crocker, in 1875. Mourning Teletha Jennings died on 8 December 1918 in Spartanburg, Spartanburg County, South Carolina, at age 68.

     James Seaborn Bagwell was also known as Steven Bagwell.² He was born on 14 October 1852 in Henderson County, North Carolina.^1,2,3 He was the son of Private James Adolphus Bagwell and Patsy Caroline Whitmire.¹ James Seaborn Bagwell married Rutha Jane Corbin on 9 April 1872. James Seaborn Bagwell died on 21 December 1920 in Pickens County, South Carolina, at age 68.^1,3 He was buried at Sunrise Cemetery, Pickens, Pickens County, South Carolina.³

     Susan Amie Thompson was born on 16 June 1854 in Spartanburg County, South Carolina.¹ As of 1877,her married name was Bagwell. She married Ibra Simpson Bagwell, son of Hiram Jenkins Bagwell and Ruth Thompson, in 1877. Susan Amie Thompson died on 28 October 1913 in Spartanburg County, South Carolina, at age 59.¹ She was buried at Oak Grove Baptist Church Cemetery, Spartanburg, Spartanburg County, South Carolina.¹

     Clyde Bagwell was born on 17 January 1900 in Spartanburg County, South Carolina. He was the son of Ibra Simpson Bagwell and Susan Amie Thompson. Clyde Bagwell died on 11 July 1901 in Spartanburg County, South Carolina, at age 1.

     Marrie Bagwell was born on 14 June 1897 in Spartanburg County, South Carolina. She was the daughter of Ibra Simpson Bagwell and Susan Amie Thompson. Marrie Bagwell died on 4 June 1909 in Spartanburg County, South Carolina, at age 11.

     Aaron S. Bagwell was born on 21 July 1894 in Spartanburg County, South Carolina. He was the son of Ibra Simpson Bagwell and Susan Amie Thompson. Aaron S. Bagwell died on 9 May 1906 in Spartanburg County, South Carolina, at age 11.

     Annie Bagwell was born in April 1888 in South Carolina. She was the daughter of Ibra Simpson Bagwell and Susan Amie Thompson.

     Edward Roland Bagwell was born on 12 March 1883 in Spartanburg County, South Carolina.¹ He was the son of Ibra Simpson Bagwell and Susan Amie Thompson. Edward Roland Bagwell married Minnie Susan Brady after 1905. He was a foreman of a chain gang.¹ Edward Roland Bagwell died on 20 May 1932 in Campobello, Spartanburg County, South Carolina, at age 49 from angina pectoris (heart).¹ He was buried at Landrum Cemetery, Spartanburg, Spartanburg County, South Carolina.¹

     Minnie Susan Brady was also known as Susan Brady.¹ She was born on 22 December 1888 in South Carolina.¹ As of after 1905,her married name was Bagwell. She married Edward Roland Bagwell, son of Ibra Simpson Bagwell and Susan Amie Thompson, after 1905. Minnie Susan Brady died on 2 September 1957 at age 68.¹ She was buried at Landrum Cemetery, Spartanburg, Spartanburg County, South Carolina.¹

     Joseph Leonard Bagwell Sr. was born on 13 April 1919 in South Carolina. He was the son of Edward Roland Bagwell and Minnie Susan Brady. Joseph Leonard Bagwell Sr. married Mary Carruth after 1935.² Joseph Leonard Bagwell Sr. died on 20 November 2010 at age 91

Joseph Leonard Bagwell, Sr., 91, of Landrum passed away Saturday, November 20, 2010. He was son of the late Edward R. and Susan Brady Bagwell and husband of Mary Carruth Bagwell.

He was a member of Landrum First Baptist Church where he had served as a deacon and church treasurer and a retired businessman. He was a US Navy veteran having served in World War II and was the former Mayor of Landrum.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by a son, Leonard Bagwell and wife Dianne of Columbia; two daughters, Anne Bagwell of Columbia and Gracie Bagwell of Landrum; a brother, Clyde E. Bagwell, Sr. of Taylors; a sister, Hester S. Bagwell of Columbia; a grandson, Brent Bagwell and wife Amy; and a great-grandson, Charlie Bagwell.

Burial will be in Evergreen Memorial Gardens.

     Boyce Roland Bagwell was born on 8 December 1915 in Spartanburg, Spartanburg County, South Carolina.¹ He was the son of Edward Roland Bagwell and Minnie Susan Brady. Boyce Roland Bagwell married Alice Avanelle Browning after 1935.² He was a World War II veteran. Boyce Roland Bagwell died on 1 September 1965 in Anderson, Anderson County, South Carolina, at age 49 of a heart attack while driving back home after visiting relatives.¹ He was buried at Evergreen Memorial Gardens, Landrum, Spartanburg County, South Carolina.¹

     Hester Susan Bagwell was born on 9 October 1917 in South Carolina.¹ She was the daughter of Edward Roland Bagwell and Minnie Susan Brady. Hester Susan Bagwell died on 28 December 2011 in Columbia, Richland County, South Carolina, at age 94

Hester Susan Bagwell, daughter of the late Edward Roland and Susan (Brady) Bagwell passed away Wednesday, December 28, 2011 in Columbia, SC.

Graveside services were held Saturday, December 31, 2011 at 2:00 PM in Evergreen Memorial Gardens, Landrum, South Carolina. Rev. John Brady conducted the service.

Miss Bagwell was a member of First Baptist Church of Columbia (SC) for over fifty years. She was a graduate of Landrum High School and Robinson Business College. She retired from USDA, Soil Conversation Service after 34 years.

She is survived by a brother, Clyde E. Bagwell, Sr. of Taylors, S.C., a sister-in-law Mary Bagwell of Landrum, S.C. Miss Bagwell is also survived by five nieces - Barbara (Mario) Raun, Anne Bagwell, Martha (Gene) Stallard, Patricia Bagwell, and Grace Bagwell and one niece-in-law Marianne (Edward) Bagwell and three nephews - Larry (Linda) Bagwell, Leonard (Dianne) Bagwell and Clyde (Jo-Jo) Bagwell, Jr.

She was predeceased by a sister, Abbie Bagwell, and two brothers, Boyce and Joe Bagwell, and one nephew, Edward Bagwell.

     Clyde Elliott Bagwell Sr. was born on 29 May 1922 in Landrum, Spartanburg County, South Carolina.¹ He was the son of Edward Roland Bagwell and Minnie Susan Brady. Clyde Elliott Bagwell Sr. married Corrine Eva Moss after 1935.² Clyde Elliott Bagwell Sr. died on 28 March 2013 in Taylors, Greenville County, South Carolina, at age 90 Clyde Elliott Bagwell, Sr., 90, of Taylors, SC, died Thursday, March 28, 2013. Born May 29, 1922, in Landrum, SC, he was a son of the late Edward Roland Bagwell and Minnie Susan Brady Bagwell and husband of the late Corrine Moss Bagwell.

Mr. Bagwell was a 1949 graduate of Clemson University with a degree in Electrical Engineering and retired from the city of Statesville, NC, as Director of Electric Utilities. He was a former member of Broad Street UMC, Statesville, NC, and the Statesville Civitan Club, and presently a member of Aldersgate UMC, Greenville, SC. He was a U.S. Army veteran of WWII and was awarded a Bronze Star.

He is survived by a daughter, Patricia G. Bagwell of Taylors, SC; a son, Clyde E. Bagwell, Jr. and wife, Jo-Mary McKee Bagwell of Inman, SC; granddaughters, Elizabeth Corrine Bagwell of Spartanburg, SC and Abbie Elliott Bagwell of Inman, SC. In addition to his wife and parents, he was predeceased by brothers, Joseph Leonard Bagwell and Boyce Roland Bagwell; and sisters, Elizabeth Aileen "Abbie" Bagwell and Hester S. Bagwell.
Graveside services will be 1:00 p.m., Saturday, March 30, at Sunset Memorial Park officiated by Dr. Talmage A. Stanley, family member.

Elizabeth Aileen Bagwell died on 13 June 1984 in Columbia, Lexington County, South Carolina, at age 57 Elizabeth Aileen Bagwell, 57, of Columbia, SC, died Wednesday, June 13, 1984 in the South Carolina Baptist Medical Center.

Native of Landrum, SC; daughter of the late Edward Roland Bagwell (1883-1932) and Susan (Brady) Bagwell (1888-1957); retired secretary of General Motors Acceptance Corporation; graduated from Converse College; member of First Baptist Church of Columbia where she was a member of the Service Sunday School Class.

Surviving are a sister, Hester Susan Bagwell of Columbia; brothers, Joseph Leonard Bagwell, Sr. of Landrum, Clyde Elliott Bagwell, Sr. of Statesville, NC.

Services were held at 11:00 AM Friday, June 15, 1984 at Dunbar Funeral Home, Gervais Street Chapel, Columbia, SC, by the Revs. John Setchfield and Phil Steyne.

Burial followed at 3:30 PM in Evergreen Memorial Gardens, Landrum, SC.

Nancy Caroline Bagwell died on 30 October 1941 in Spartanburg County, South Carolina, at age 66.

     John David Porter was born on 5 May 1874 in South Carolina. He married Nancy Caroline Bagwell, daughter of John William Bagwell and Nancy Caroline Thompson, before 1903. John David Porter died on 12 December 1959 at age 85.

John Earle Bagwell married Margaret Maudene Puckett on 20 June 1931 at Glendale, South Carolina. John Earle Bagwell married Ethel Millwood in October 1966. John Earle Bagwell died on 10 December 1991 in Spartanburg County, South Carolina, at age 82. He was buried at Greenlawn Memorial Gardens, Spartanburg, Spartanburg County, South Carolina.
